Very nice truck. It's got a great futuristic vibe going. Not far future, close future Only thing I could suggest is a splash of yellow (trans or regular) to make it a bit more blacktrony.

That's a great start. I actually like how you did the back saucer parts - Enterprise E had a less symmetrical Saucer. SO the back does look good. My other thought is where are the red fronts to the nacelles ? Don't forget to put in the bridge too! Hope to see more!

Lord of Drow, Thank you for your 'hospitality' and your the games! Quite the enjoyable adventure. Well done ser! Dammit, I knew I should have put a diaper on the monkey...

They don't appreciate amazing work like I do.

If my math is right it was 28,512 1x1 bricks. Or 29,305 including the plates. Yeah I heard that Jenn did the other one ... hehe looking at yours and looking at ours, I think VicLUG did a better job You can tell that it's the emperor in the shadow on yours... our is just grey mess ... and if you look closely you can totally tell where we just started randomly filling in black But that's part of the memory and the fun *SOME* of us were too busy actually Building to take non glamour shots... OH and to ruin the magic... the picture of ROOK was STAGED STAGED! I built those plates. If you look carefully it is clear that they are already built... Edit: Sounds like another one in Chicago finished around 10:30pm ...

Wow! That's really well done! Totally looks like the real thing! Is that minifig to scale?

Welcome new traveller Mikel Kalores It is great to welcome one from the great and far away land of CC, I hope you will stay and share with us your wonderful creations. And yes those pesky musicians. Is it too much to ask to stand still for 8 hours for the painter to complete their work? shesh. The tower is very nice, I like some of the little details you put it... but the flag colour is wrong (I'm also interested in this Sci-fi stuff you speak of). My dear Rasputin again your parties of majesty and fancy amuse me and the court to no end. Not only do you bring us an incredible embassy, but along with it such wonderful tale and relevant theme! The building is a true marvel - that floor is fantastic, but as is the firey summons of the Dijjinn! and that curved balcony! and the hot tub! and the ... oh gosh the whole thing! Kcaj my esteemed inventor and engineer, that is also a fantastic embassy. I can feel the warmth of the fireplaces - even in the cold north! And the interior is so detailed! And that tree out front - perfect! Only suggestion I could make is from a presentation perspective - the scrutinizing eye maybe drawn away from your moc and into the back drop... perhaps you could ask someone to raise that table cloth up while you take a picture? or perhaps with your permission, I or another can photoshop and remove the background? M'lady Amelia , that is possibly one of the nicest stairs I've seen in awhile. The tiles, the rope/pillars, the retaining wall, and the sunflowers It's simple - yet so lovely. And the building itself - very Kaliphlin in nature. It feels a bit reserved than some flashier ones - but has a grandeous classic Kaliphlin style to it And of course, I would be negligent if I did not to the wonderful tree and adorable ducks They say today is the day of love- and I must do heartily say - I do love all the wonderful MOCS you have given to us today. -
That girl is standing in the way of that MOC...

Congratulations on your first MOC! Hopefully there will be many to come! Overall it's a nice little fort - The base of the fort could use a little more detail though... maybe some tan plates, or some grass or something. PS - you can also fix the tilting in photoshop or something.

Yes ! more angles! For some reason this *LOOKS* a lot bigger than it is... Nice shaping and use of colours. And looks like some interesting greebling going on... if only I could see more ...

awwwww robot love ... on awesome greeble bases. Small, but packed with crazy detail - great work

Forgive me if there's a specific thread for this sorta thing... I scanned through a few pages and didn't find any. Anyways I thought you guys might enjoy this: -- So to celebrate the release of EP1 in 3D, LEGO had a Darth Maul Mosaic build at a local theatre... I was on my way to check it out before heading to the LEGO store when I get a txt: "Get over to the cineplex now!!!!! we need help!!!!!!" So I get there around 5pm and couldn't find the stupid build! It's not in the front, it's not in the party rooms... I start looking around and found it BEHIND the ticket checkpoint. When I Got there it was probably about 60-70% done. With an hour to go. OY. So I did my best "Hey look behind you" trick to the ticket agent and got into the build zone. I was meet by none other than my Arch-Hero and we get down to building business. 6x6 plates. All built by 1x1 bricks - with very very difficult to see spray paint design... once the plate was built -it goes on the big board. At 5:45 our progress. We can't finish by 6 so we decided to just put the plates in! so it SORTA looks okay. Not bad. It was decided - to keep going anyways - so we started building ON the actual board... since all the plates were already put in.... While the start, everyone working on the board made sense... but we _litterally_ built ourselves into a corner... Which was highly amusing as we reached a critical mass where there were too many hands and bricks flying around to fill the bottom right corner. And at 6:51EST - after 8 hours, 51 minutes, Five LBR employees, (2 of which bravely stuck around for a double shift), One LBR employee who happened to be seeing a movie, two AFOLs, one super dedicated kid, and one REALLLY annoyed mother were able to finish off the build! (many others helped, but the last two hours was mainly the above). Fun times but my hands still feel the pain. I don't want to even know how the 2 brave employees are doing.... Fun! Oh and for those that were curious all the bricks were cleverly stowed away on the reverse side: Suffice to say, the store was definitely closed by the time I was done :(

Wow. I think that's some of the best 'snow work' I've seen yet. Really well done. And the Snowball fight is instant fav. Really nice work !
-
Hey Jason, welcome to EB! Nice LDD - I really like the mini Daleks. The Saucer is a good start, but it seems the sides to be missing something... maybe some grill bricks? or some greebling?
-
What to say... First off the Tanks is AWESOME. I absolutely love the squished car/angle of the shot - fantastic! That alone is worthy of note... but the fact that it's fully powered AND RC - that's *COOL* Throw in it's SP3 police makes this a great MOC! really great build!
-
Very cool. Heh yes the SWU vs Sci-Fi argument (again) - despite where it 'should' be ... I'm glad you choose here, cause these are awesome (and I may not have noticed it in the other forum). And it's this is such a tantalizing taste of Age of Light... I saw the WIP pictures. But I am just waiting to see it in person Keep up the great work! and cool mocs!

I agree the arm coming up is great! as are the freezer doors and the trim on the top! Nice little build. Are you planning any more scenes from the book?
-
I think this is one of your coolest ship yet! The tire ring (ah! so that's what it was) is fantastic. And again I'm loving the progression of your shaping techniques. This really makes me want to try my had into micro. Though for some reason I feel like there needs to be some sort of support ships to go around this thing... None the less - awesome build!

Puck magnet Regulator - New title to go with new Job. I now have the ability to regulate anything from Victorian steam contraptions, to fighters and space, to time travelling individual across parallel universes... though still not ability to avoid pucks to the head... [siegfried]

The slats are cool, and I love the little path with the bridge. If you're short on pieces you could always block differently, eg story has a slightly different colour pallet. So it would look like the building was built over several years - thus different material is used (which was common at the time).

Wahil That is simply incredible. WOW! I am a loss for words. Lord Shale lovely entry, I love the brick work - though maybe use slightly few colour iterations? Though the wood framing around the building is nice. One suggestion I would make is maybe change up the base a bit? You can see the plates you used on the bottom there But over all very nicely done! Especially for your first MOC! I they get easier and better with time. -
Great colour scheme. It just goes to show great builders can build in any theme :P And I love that base :) Very castlely ;)
-
Wow! That's really well done. Why aren't you satisfied? It looks great! I love the over all shape and the yellow highlights - especially the grill in the front. The little air lock / decontamination is nice too :)

I know it makes no sense to save up ... but it'd be ever so much fun to walk in and say: "yeah I'll take that SSD - Do you want to use your points? - Sure. It's free! Teehee"

Also belated Birthday wishes... If you're still standing after WhiteFang's round - next one is on me
