Very cool! I like your deck and the rocks the best. The little tan sand under the boat was also nicely done.

How much did you spend on Lego in 2011?
Si-MOCs replied to Legacy Man's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm the same way! I will give, but not sell... though I unfortunately haven't gotten to the same level or scale as building as you... but I hope to! that's a great castle. -

Hehe thanks I knew yours was going to be obvious but I didn't think people would figure out the others - though it was a fun teaser while we wrote up the proclimations and such... I did try to build them to scale - yours was just super tall :P Though i may have slightly exagerated... A bit of kaliphlin pride Only time will tell what all this gold could be useful. -- Edit: Since a certain other Guild Leader mentioned it in THEIR thread... the scoring for the towers (free builds still to be done!) were based on 3 components - the 'Kaliphliness' of the build, the quality of the build, and the presentation. Which means for maximum score - we should aim for Kaliphlin style builds - well built (not necessarily big - If we chopped Gabe's tower in half I think it still would have won.) and well photographed / presented. Let's see if we can catch up to our snowy brothers next round -

[Prizes to be finalized soon] A *HUGE* congratulations to Tower Master Erudhalion ! Truly an epic tower, and (literally) height of Kaliphlin construction. BUT - let's not overlook the guild... Kaliphlin was SECOND. edging out the Avalonian powerhouse. I believe *EVERYONE* should get themselves a nice pat on the pack. Great work Gabe, and Kaliphlin. Though it looks like we have a bit of work to keep up with our Northern friends... so let's get those Embassies going! -- Odin Sounds great! I can't wait to see your moc! I eagerly await Katsumoto's arrival. Damaximus nice little scene you have going there... but it's a bit dark, and the AWB is a tad off... if you need some help or tips on photography feel free to drop me a PM. .... though the yellow tint has a very... eerie glow... -
hehe great moc. The van is super well done. and and the blue Scooby collar. So simple but works so well!

I guess this is pretty cool. With the dark greens. The working play action. The water. The suble wall differences. The tower intergration. The window details. The trebrechhe. The roofings. The scaffolding. You know - if your into that sort of thing.

Velethuil Those golden golems are incredible. I never thought that the stories were true - despite myself owning a few artefacts crafted from the great BrickTW. And looks to be a nice and welcoming site in the unforgiving Nocturnus region. Our Travellers thank thee. DaMaximus there's no rule against it ... but as Master Cartographer Gex has suggested - it's not going to be overly impressive... What I would suggest is take your time. Build the village and other sets and enjoy them. Then dismantle some or all of it and build something new. One of the whole reasons for Historica was to engage people and provide an encouraging environment for everyone to build in. And I definitely think it's working -

Awww that's adorable. I saw something similar / same? at the Lego store, but they called it 'Cake Topper' Though I think you are mistaken - the packaging says 24 pieces, not 2. -
Heheh nice! It certainly looks like a nibmle one! Though maybe you should add some railings? doesn't look too safe up there.... (Wait there's a floating rock challenge?)
-
Too bad you're not building this anymore, it's looking pretty great. I always thought it was a pretty cool 'batmobile'

Sclet Lothar Welcome my friend! It is good to see new faces still joining us. I look forward to trying my luck in your establishments! Erudhalion , your ship is absolutely incredible. I've seen it before going up and down our coasts, but ever time I see it I am amazed at it's beauty. That's what I was thinking... Though it'd be a double cool if I could get the entire guild to sign it ... who's going to Brickworld? -
Wow ... Colour me impressed. That's some fantastic stuff... Thanks for the close ups of the various build techniques ... hehhe I want to be an Adult Funs of LEGO!
-
Awesome idea! Wow I really missed a lot of stuff this year... great to see some people's hard work being highlighted! If there weren't enough challenges in EB - now I have to try to make Sieg's wrap up post for next year Though isn't Taz the History Regulator?

Calender marked. Synchronizing watches... NOW. -
Just wanted to say that this was a fantastic adventure, checking in daily (sometimes more than daily) and seeing if your name popped up. Thanks for hosting! Though as a part of the bottom 20%, I will be staging an Occupy EB protest rally soon.

I really like that brick built sail. and the whole concept is pretty inventive. I have to agree with Gabe - let's see this bad boy in action!

Awesome work. as a Batman fan, I really like all the little touches you put in. I've always dreamed of building a 'full sized' Batcave. Now I don't have to I can just look at yours and enjoy Really nicely done, I can't wait for the next few mocs!

You should have just bought some duct tape and taped it to your body ;) Edit: LIAR! NO fun houses at Sherway :( They did have an impressive array of Friends sets that were surprisingly appealing Hey Shane, welcome to the Eh thread ;) (BTW I really liked your winter sport shop)
