I'll try changing the rear so it is less wide, or making the whole thing longer (the front is kind of locked in now due to all the mechanism, which is it's most efficient now after 6 iterations)

I'm not sure if 2 stage tractor is the right term, but @Milan posted this beautiful picture at some point and some lights turned on in my head: CURRENT STATE: So I decided to build one. It will have the same 4 steering modes shown above. Referencing the picture down below, the yellow axle controls front wheel steering, parallel track, and combined front wheel and chassis. The black axle only controls articulated steering, in order to align the chassis to let the other modes work. Therefore, everything must be aligned in order for parallel track and combined front wheel and chassis. It is all controlled by a gearbox. Additionally, there will be a PTO and I will make a lawn mower attachment with 2 functions (both motorized). Here are some pictures. First (2nd-5th picture) are the 4 steering modes and then how they are controlled. Please excuse the photo quality: That's all. Please leave criticism and comments. Why? Is there something wrong with it? It seems pretty nice. A quick and obvious idea is 42009-style outriggers.

There is definitely enough space. Rerouting the steering and keeping the control in the same place will be a huge problem.

That will probably be me I am really anxious to see what the 42082 would be like. I definitely want to figure out how it works. And that new valve is quite interesting as well.

Very, very beautiful but I believe the front is too tall. Otherwise, everything is spot-on.

In some instances, those gaps actually don't look bad at all. For example, I don't really care that there are gaps in Sheepo's MOCs because they still flow so nicely. I guess overall it's a styling and design decision. I personally try to build with minimum gaps.

Good prototype. Not sure you'll need a linear clutch, especially if you want some lifting action.

It could just be an old valve driven by an axle. There are some very simple assemblies to allow this. Why would a new valve be needed specifically for that purpose? Agreed. It's way too dark to be the bright green from 42039 and this is visible by the contrast between it and the lime. Unless it's a newer, darker green...

Apologies. Back to topic: I believe I can see that the valves are disguised as lights? Or exhausts? Also, those are some nice little accessories.
