This overlaps a lot with the mindstorms forum, but I wonder if the brick has a USB port or a microSD port so that an ev3dev-like image could be developed for it? That would absolutely be the icing on the cake because ev3dev makes the ev3 so much more immersive because there's so much more that can be done.

I would agree. This was probably the hardest function to develop. There are very few leftover parts (like 400 only). I could use them to make cargo I guess... Thank you!

Hey everyone, Presenting my latest MOC: the 42055 C model, a crawler crane. This build was probably my most anbitious ever, but it somehow went really smoothly as I encountered minimal problems while building it. The build has 5 power functions and numerous details: Winch Boom 1st stage Boom 2nd stage Expanding tracks Superstructure rotation The crane is a full 4 feet tall when fully extended (and thus requires lots of counterweights in the form of 3 battery boxes) Enough talk though, the video really explains everything! Well, that's all. I hope you like it! C&C are welcome! BbBT

Hey everyone, I'm back with my latest MOC: the car transporter! It's a model I have been wanting to build for a really long time, and have actually attempted but failed once already. The MOC has 2 power functions and 3 pneumatic functions: Lowering upper platform (power) Lowering ramp (power) Raising platform on top of cab (pneumatic) Raising platform on deck (pneumatic) Tilting upper platform (pneumatic) There are also a lot of manual functions, like classics such as HoG steering, fake engine, suspension, and specific to this one unfolding the ramp. I also tried to add in as many details as possible, such as mirrors, lights, etc (and this is my first ever cab design). Video: That's it, thanks for reading/watching! I have something big coming up next :) BbBT

Few pointers from someone who has already done this: - Find a place for the steering shifter fast. It proved to be the hardest thing to find pace for when I built mine, and it greatly impacts how well the steering actually works since you're using the 42054 mechainsm. - Make sure the core of your chassis is extremely robust. If it can bend even a little, when the superstructure is to the side, it will. - Make it modular. This makes it soooooo much easier to diagnose problems. - Add an engine if you can. it seems you have some place. Overall amazing WIP, I can't wait to see how it goes!

7 x 4 x 3. There are 2 little bulges, 1 on each side, which increase the width to 4 studs.

Another truly amazing MOC from you Jeroen. While I don't like the beams at the front, the rest of the model is immaculately designed. This is one of your best for sure. The cause is also awesome and I hope you guys have great success with the auction!

Swerve drive is a huge step for teams. My team tried to do one but got stuck on the manufacturing part of it (though they did program it). However, swerve drive can do more than being omnidirectional, so seeing it in a lego project would be pretty cool!
