Hi guys, so I have finished another micro moc landscape. This time its of one of my favourite scenes from The Force Awakens. The crashed Star Destroyer is such an iconic image from not only the film but the trailers as well that I just had to make it in lego form. I am really pleased with Rey's speeder. I didnt think I would be able to build it at this scale but actually I think this is a pretty good representation. At only eight pieces I dont think its going to get any smaller either! (I did have one version with one less stud at the back but it looked too blocky) The star destroyer is a slight variation on a polybag release with a few tweaks. I was going to design my own from scratch but actually once I built this I felt the look, size and dimensions were pretty much there and just needed a few extra bits added. Overall I am really pleased with this build but as always I would love to hear your feedback and advice.

Fantastic job! I think you have really captured the essence of this scene, especially Finn just lying there in the background! The action feature is incredible, I would love to see it in action. I really want more Force Awakens sets to come out as I feel there is scope for so much more and I hope with MOCs like this it will give Lego some inspiration to make some official sets soon!

That Falcon build is amazing, one of the best micro size builds ive seen, however it's 14 studs long and my scene is only 16x16! It would dwarf everything in comparison! Saying that I might use it for something else I have in mind so thank you for bringing it to my attention!

Thanks! The knifes arent modded as such but where I have tried to get them to stay attached to the 'wings' a little groove has formed (they needed a bit of force!) - to be honest they are really, really delicately balanced on - if anyone can find a better solution or different type of build for the wing cannons please do share!

Hi guys, I have just finished another micro landscape in time for the Battlefront Death Star DLC. I wanted to do something different from some of the other trench run mocs I have seen and so I chose the moment Han comes to Luke's rescue and shoots down one of the tie fighters. I really like the drama in this scene and Im really happy with the way it has turned out. The inspiration for Luke's Xwing and Vader's tie came from a post by 'BEAVeR' (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=84301) however I really wanted to get R2 in this scene and so instead of a 1x2 white tile for the nose I went for a 1x1 and added a 1x1 blue stud to represent R2 behind the cockpit. Thanks goes to 'PRAITER YED' for the idea of using knifes as the wings cannons - I think they look really effective. Originally I used BEAVeR's design for Vaders Tie but it would've meant having to paint the shields black, which I wanted to avoid and also I didn't think it looked menacing enough so I simply turned the Tie fighters wings on their side. I think Vader's Tie has a real presence in this piece now and looks like the dangerous ship that it is! Finally for the Tie's cockpits I used an Arkenstone piece from The Hobbit sets, which almost looks as though it was specially designed for micro ties! I am really happy with this MOC and would love to get your opinions and as always any advice going forward for future MOCs! (Also would anyone be interested in seeing the design process? I have some pictures of various stages of the builds that people might find interesting?)

This is really nice. Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes. Very inspiring! I think I might have to try the backdrop technique as I want to start adding a bit of production to my photos. (do I need a board game or will any box work

I love the bowling alley! I think its really in keeping with Lego's sense of humor. The first moc I did (Maz Kanata's castle) I wanted it to be super authentic and then I thought it needs to be fun too so thats why I gave Sudswater Dillifay a red and white fender to play! Totally unrealistic in terms of the film but really fun none the less! Battle on Takodana MOC I guess it just depends on your personal preference though and ultimately that's the beauty of Lego!

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the feedback. With all my micro mocs I try to get some element of action or story in there, glad it hasnt gone unnoticed!

Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks!

This is utterly incredible. The detail on the back engines is simply wonderful!

I love the AT-ST, its definitely one of my favourite SW vehicles (especially in Battlefront!) and this is a great build. I love the forest floor its trampling over. The flaps over the cockpit look spot on as do the side guns. And the detail on the legs is great. It is a shame about the support but it doesn't really take away from what a great build this is!

This is great! I would love to see more MOCs using Ralph McQuarrie's art as the inspiration.

Beautiful build, it really reminds me of the original kenner toy from 1980!

This is by far the best Rouge One MOC I have seen so far. You have really captured the feel of the trailer and I love the way you have designed the palm trees and micro fighters.
