  1. I doubt heavily that Disney will try to give TOR the axe in order to prepare for their new trilogy. For starters, I don't think that Disney has any jurisdiction over what takes place with the game other than its ownership of the trademark. And more importantly: (this is Disney, after all), it wouldn't make any business sense to cancel a profitable game simply old Walt wants to make everyone love his set of films more than the 70s and 80s cinema classics.
  2. I think that Scuba is referring to the fact that Flare did not spell the word phenomenally correctly.
  3. Guess you didn't grow-up in 1970s Britain then.
  4. I think that you've got your head screwed on properly. But I want to make this clear: my post on chaos, philosophy and Robin Longstride was in no way meant to be disrespectful to Flipz and how he writes his character. Characters can get things wrong, people get things wrong - in fact, mistakes make a character more realistic. Misguidedness (is this a word?) very much so. In my opinion; perhaps we could enter this into the Heroica Mental Player's Dictionary - 1st Edition: Chaos (upper case) for the noun of Wren and Arthur's philosophy and world views - chaos (lower case) for the correct English meaning of the word. That sound fair?
  5. cha·os /ˈkāäs/ Noun Complete disorder and confusion. Behavior so unpredictable as to appear random, owing to great sensitivity to small changes in conditions. I'm almost certain that chaos has nothing to do with self-reliance. That's not what chaos is. There's nothing to say that a chaotic Eubric wouldn't just be fires/looting/rape/murder/muggings left right and centre with no authority to control it. Chaos is about a breakdown of society, not a group of people dealing with things for themselves. And as for Robin Hood: Well, he never tried to make people think for themselves or solve their own problems. Robin's approach was to get a couple of men and rob caravans, and steal from nobility, in order to hand it out to the poor. Robin Hood's philosophy was to fight for those who were too weak to fight, the guys who were still getting killed every time he went AWOL. And don't forget, Hood was never about changing the world, or even Nottingham - he was only ever making life easier for the peasants until King Richard came back from the crusades. Robin didn't want chaos (I believe), he simply wanted a better, less violent bloke to come and take back over. Well, how could one 'get people used to the idea of chaos' in Arthur's philosophy? Chaos means the complete absence or order - it's impossible to have semi-chaos in a city. And anyhow, chaos doesn't evolve people into instant badarses, they'd just end up more victimized than before.
  6. To be honest I don't really understand what Arthur is saying. That anarchy is the way to go because...?
  7. Haldor decides not to bury the hatchet, and instead tries to kill Galixyush'a from the front row. Battle Order: Xander Mizuki Romulus Haldor
  8. In fairness, Airfix has been in the scale-model business a reasonable bit longer than those other companies, but it confuses me as to why they've decided to branch away from the paint-and-glue approach that made them a household name and apparently try and jump on something completely different. And you are right about the contradiction of the core idea - aren't they just going against everything that springs to mind when one thinks of Airfix?
  9. Not bloody Bad Wolf again, please! Seriously, some story arcs run their course and need to be left behind, else the whole thing just becomes mundane. I have no issue with Billie Piper, but if she makes an appearance... I may have to go and break something. Sorry for the rant, I've just had enough of the Rose character for one lifetime. "Oh no! I'm stranded in an alternate universe and need a poignant goodbye! Wait a second... who says that I need to play by the rules? I'll just keep reappearing all the damn time and make my farewell end-of-series episode pretty irrelevant!"
  10. Thanks, I'll probably pick it up if the price stays low for a little bit longer. I do love the minifigures very much - especially Killian's exquisite beige suit! As for the ship; well, I can always cannibalise it in the name of MOCing if I'm not impressed with it. I definitely would, it's a very lovely ship.
  11. Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter - I needed something to swoosh against my Geonosian Starfighter, and with almost seven pounds off, this fit the bill.
  12. Brickshelf is currently on-fire too, I believe. Woah, that's an unarmed Pog? Those bastards are getting more technologically superior everyday, just look at this one - unarmed, ye it has shiny metal appendages welded into its body! It's a Cyber-Pog! Whatever next? They'll have tank tracks for legs soon, you mark my words!
  13. I personally would disagree with the first one - that style of naming fits rather more with the Galactic Republic/Empire type vehicles in my opinion. Perhaps something in-line with Episode III droid vehicles would suit more? I don't know... you could always try naming it after a similarly-behaved/designed creature, as with the Vulture droids and Spider droids. The front of the vehicle resembles a Leech somewhat, how about naming your transport a 'CIS Leech Droid'?
  14. Bastard that he is.
  15. The raging nord tries to kill Leofold from the front row. Battle Order: Xander Mizuki Romulus Haldor
  16. Thanks for pointing that out, I guess that these spectacles are getting to soft for my old, withered eyes. Either that or something really weird has happened. How the hell did I get from eBay France to eBay Germany without realizing it, and mistake instructions for an actual set? Better for me to make this error than a prospective purchaser! Anyhow, I'm not responsible for what people choose to pay money for or sell online - I'm purely the messenger, albeit a decrepit, blind one.

  19. This isn't so much a 'Which set should I buy?' question, but more so a 'Should I buy this set?' one. The set in Question is the 7600: Iron Man Extremis Sea Port Battle. I have found a place in which I could get hold of it for just £14.00, which is round about 30% off the RRP. Do you gentlemen think that I should take up the offer? I can't guarantee that the price will stay this low for much longer - but I'm not yet sure whether or not the set is worth it even with that kind of discount. Thoughts?
  20. Come on Town, you can do it!
  21. Haldor furiously attacks the champion from the front row.
  22. Great, in-depth review. Although this set doesn't really interest me all that much. From the outside, the armour-plating and overall aesthetic looks nice and clean-cut... but viewed from anywhere else the set appears half-complete. Worse still, covering up those holes would take almost a complete redesign in my eye.
  23. I love those customs, and the album cover is literally hilarious.
  24. 'Milo'? To be truthful, I'd be very confused if 'Milo' were to turn up a hero - the amount of flying-beneath-the-radar he's been doing sometimes makes it seem as though he's not playing at all.
