  1. I’m no legal expert, but they probably aren’t obliged to update orders like that thanks to the “while supplies last” clause, which would legally cover them in many situations. HOWEVER, TLG’s customer service is top-notch and they surely would’ve added it to your order if you called them. They’ve previously added a GWP to an order of mine despite ordering before midnight, which technically would not have qualified me either
  2. I’d say it was fast-tracked, “rushed” has negative connotations to it I have no source on this or anything, but I think they swapped two waves rather than making the JL wave up on the spot. Creating new moulds like the one for Darkseid takes a lot of time, so I assume the JL wave was at least in early conceptual stages by the time BvS got delayed
  3. You can I’ve just tested it
  4. I think it’s 75$. Though keep in mind the threshold only concerns HP sets Things like keychains may or may not be valid
  5. Looks like the MBoM is back on the menu, boys @Tom Jurassic: Now that’s what I call bad timing, whoopsie I hope you’re lucky enough to get it attached to your order as well. It should be, theoretically, since the offer is supposed to be valid throughout January
  6. Don’t worry about it, I’d rather have no info at all than info that may turn out to be false in the end, especially if it sounds good
  7. Are you referring to the speculated sets someone on IG tried to pass off as leaks or is there something else making the rounds I’m not aware of?
  8. Nope Don’t expect anything soon, especially since all of the toy fairs have been cancelled or postponed. I’m not sure where else we would get info from, unless they decide to put HP prelims in the retailer catalogues again AND someone is brave/insane enough to leak it. The leak of the previous catalogue probably didn’t end well for the responsible retailer
  9. It sold out very quickly on s@h and we have no idea how much stock the brand stores received, if any Maybe they‘ll get some more at some point, but I wouldn‘t bet on that. You’re right, but it’s a rather new piece still that’ll surely show up somewhere else too. I’m surprised it hasn’t been recoloured for BAM already BTW, after all that recent talk about the basilisk I now really want a proper update The 2018 one was an afterthought and the 2002 version is pretty outdated, so it‘s about time. A chamber of secrets set would also nicely tie into what I expect to be a very DH-centric wave. I‘m sure the idea has been tossed around before, but I would love for this wave to have a “collect all horcruxes” vibe to it à la Infinity War, and the CoS would fit into that very neatly.
  10. This set looks amazing, but I‘m on the fence about getting it due to spatial concerns There‘s no way to fit it next to the other Ninjago City sets (and it‘s tallness definitely doesn‘t help either). Maybe I‘ll buy it without assembling it, which I‘ve never done before. Sad times *smallest violin in the world playing* Nonetheless, I can‘t wait to see more details, especially some of the building techniques. Some are already apparent, e.g. using a red axle piece as a d-pad on the arcade! That‘s a stroke of genius, never would‘ve thought of that
  11. The question is, whether they‘re inaccurate enough to warrant a new mould Sirius‘, Lupin‘s, Tonks‘, Molly‘s and Lockhart’s repurposed hairpieces weren‘t perfect, but close enough IMO. A new dual-moulded piece would be nice, but not all that versatile. So far, all hairpieces introduced for HP were repurposed in other themes, even Bellatrix‘. The only exception I can think of is Hagrid‘s (both versions), for obvious reasons. To be honest, I‘d rather they invest that money into creature moulds or something If we get a minifig of her in the first place, I‘m sure they can do her justice even with a reused hairpiece. At least it‘s going to be better than the 2011 version since the pool of available hairpieces to choose from has grown A LOT in the last 10 years
  12. They never learn, do they Putting the V-19 and Resistance Transport on „leaked“ lists is a running gag by now and yet, they still expect to fool us
  13. Exactly. Separating the art from the artist can be tricky, but I think it’s fairly easy in this case. I don‘t let her ruin my love for the franchise Good thing I only care about the films and LEGO sets, makes it even easier for me (apart from FB that is, but luckily screenwriting duties are shared in FB3) And how can they predict the success of a film that has barely even started shooting?!
  14. Hehe, the perks of living alone in my own (rented) flat I couldn‘t even place a single one of these in my LEGO room (unless I stapled them to the ceiling or something), so I decorate basically all of my walls in the corridors
  15. Yeah, I'm probably a rare exception. They probably thought "who's bonkers enough to order 8 of these?". Me, apparently Btw, I have a correction to make: they increased the limit to 5 Better, but still utterly useless for the Iron Man, Sith, and Hogwarts sets Well, at least the Hogwarts one is NOT a timed exclusive. For the Iron Man one, I had to order two copies on bricklink because the retail release was at least two months after the s@h release and I couldn't be bothered to wait that long, staring at an empty wall
  16. I was also pleasantly surprised when the tiles turned out to be printed Since I'm not expecting too many new moulds in the 2HY sets (mainly due to an expected lack of new patronus animals or beasts, unless they surprise us with a troll or Fluffy or something) they could have invested their budget mainly into prints
  17. Looks like 21169 will be the only set based on Minecraft Earth since they've just announced its discontinuation Weird planning, but at least we got one set out of it
  18. While I would definitely be in favour of sets based on TLW and JP3, the latter frankly is not beloved enough to deserve anniversary sets I enjoy it as a guilty pleasure, but it's usually people's least favourite installment for a reason and it's also on the bottom of my personal JP list. A remake of the Studios set from back in the day would still be neat since the Spino was undoubtedly the best thing to come out of it... along with "Alan"
  19. Exactly, I meant sets they've already done in this current iteration of the theme. Remakes of anything pre-2018 are more than welcome of course, should've rephrased that. My bad
  20. Am I the only one who‘s annoyed with the order limit for the Art set? In general, I applaud TLG for having them in order to make sure scalpers don‘t buy the entire stock of desirable sets for their nefarious goals, but 4 is way too low for a set that requires you to buy 8 copies if you want to display all 5 motives. Granted, the amount of people who wish to do so is pretty low, but it‘s still a bit inconvenient
  21. „Wrong direction“ in what way exactly? What they gave us was excellent, it‘s just the things they omitted that bothered me And The Hobbit was treated very well, not much missing there. B2T: I‘m with @LOTR34, as long as FB isn‘t done I‘m expecting the theme to continue. Once they‘re through with DH, I think they‘ll release sets across all of the films to fill in the gaps rather than cycling through the films pair-wise again. ...or they just start to remake everything once more (please don‘t)
  22. I would love for the Middle-Earth themes to return, but I doubt it‘s going to happen Sure, there‘s the Amazon show on the horizon, but we don‘t know how that will turn out in terms of brand fit and if a show even warrants the comeback of a previously movie-based theme in the first place. I mean, would the HP theme have returned if FB was a streaming show rather than a film series? Moreover, the previous sets apparently didn‘t sell all that well among kids. Fans like us loved the theme (apart from all the glaring omissions ) and so do scalpers nowadays, but did kids?
  23. I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment, but an Arquitens would be really neat since it's A) new and B) could provide minifigs of most of the important characters in season 2:
  24. Sounds pretty promising Sad to see there still aren‘t any battle packs though, so we can probably kiss them goodbye for good
  25. I think minifigs would make sense to be included in a D2C set (or a future CMF series), but I don‘t see them releasing regular minifig-scale sets. The main reason is the characters designs, most of which do not translate well into minifigs Most of the enemies, especially the smaller ones, would have to be one-off moulds to fit into that scale. The theme has a lot of new moulds as is, and versatile ones at that, which couldn‘t be said about a specialised Gumba mould for instance And how would you approach something like Bowser without having him brick-built?
