Not sure what to expect any more... @Guyon2002 has brought up a good point yesterday, Korg’s head piece could still turn out to be an early leak for the 2HY sets. Leaks this far in advance are rare, but we‘ve seen even more extreme examples before, like Trudgen‘s head piece that leaked in July while the minifig itself wasn‘t released until January, similarly to the Mr Dinkles head piece from the Trolls theme. I think we have no choice but to wait for additional leaks. However, the most annoying thing about it is that we don‘t know which month the D2C is scheduled for release. If it‘s in May, it‘ll be only one month before the 2HY get released, which means the leaks for both could easily overlap

That depends on one‘s level of pedantry If you consider those 2in1 or 3in1 sets to be their own sets - they do get a unique number after all - then those count as retail exclusives you can’t find on s@h

Good point, TLBM did indeed fill some of the few remaining gaps. I have another idea though: Seeing how the ‘no new minifig moulds in D2C sets’ has been lifted since the 60’s batcave, they could introduce a new cowl mould for AdamWest!Batsy I’d be happy with that as well

In terms of my favourite film and TV franchises, everything I was ever a fan of has now been covered to some extent, the last gaps having been filled by the Aston Martin in 2018 and the Upside Down in 2019. Thus, my remaining dream themes come from the realm of videogames, mainly other Nintendo franchises. Mario has been crossed out too (still can’t believe this actually happened), but Zelda, Kirby, Animal Crossing, and Pokémon are all still deeply engrained into my wishlist Sure, the Mario theme is here to stay, but we have no idea if they’ll ever extend the license to other franchises (case in point: Overwatch, which people thought would lead to a WoW theme). So close, yet so far...

Me too I was pretty ‘meh’ on the whole 2HY list, mainly because the MCU stuff will be delayed anyway and the expectations for the Avengers sets were low. But this news changes everything. I haven’t been this excited for a Marvel wave since Infinity War

Keep in mind that’s not necessarily an exclusive ‘or’, in the best-case scenario both the D2C set AND the 2HY Avengers sets are based on the MCU However, I hope we don’t run into a monkey’s paw situation here

At first, I was quite disappointed when Ronin wasn’t included in the Endgame sets. After seeing the film though, I thought they made the right decision by including the quantum suit version instead. I mean, Hawkeye wore the Ronin costume for a single (awesome) scene It’d still be nice to get him of course, but the costume definitely wasn’t as important as we first thought

Good ol’ trickster Kingwong75 has posted an innocent-looking picture of the 60’s Batman and Robin on IG. Given his fondness for cryptic posts, this could hint at the vehicle this year’s D2C set will depict If this ends up being the case, I hope for at least one new character that wasn’t already included in the 60’s batcave. Pretty tricky though

Kingwong75 is known for his crytic posts (if you remember the Ghostrider leak or last year’s HP leaks), but this has to imply a fig based on his MCU version, right? I know I shouldn’t get too excited, but my hope for “legacy” MCU sets has risen a couple of percent now

Realistically, only when the set pictures get revealed in late April Since our only reliable source for set names from the last few years has fallen victim to COVID (that being the toy fairs), there’s little chance for any leaks besides minifig parts
