  1. That monkey piece is a thing if beauty
  2. Yeah, it's definitely disappointing, but at least the new BP now won't look out of place next to the older versions I'd be a lot more sad if the Thanos info was wrong, but that part has definitely been confirmed by promobricks
  3. They didn't, I checked with the wayback machine
  4. The new Shuri is vastly superior to the previous version though
  5. It definitely wasn't promobricks, I checked on the wayback machine and luckily, there was a snapshot of the site shortly after the information was posted (only a single comment had been made at the time, good timing ). No mention of a helmet mould, so it must've been someone else
  6. I can’t remember if it was mentioned on their website, but there’s no trace of it in the video they posted before that
  7. Tweety being sold as a separate character was probably mandated by WB After all, CB did the same thing with their LT series (the one whose rather creepy-looking Tweety and Speedy heads were used for that fake leak making the rounds on IG multiple times)
  8. @Ashnflash: And here I thought people would know what April Fools’ day was, it’s not like it was invented two years ago If it’s any consolation, I thought it was a funny prank
  9. Or maybe the real April Fool’s prank today was that the Hogwarts Express rumour wasn’t a prank Lying by saying the truth, sort of
  10. Nope, brick-built creature(s) or character(s). Fits with the rest of the rubbish
  11. Isn't it just Polka Dot Man's stand with a different print?
  12. I can't think of anything minifig-scaled that would make sense at a $250 price point, especially since Hogsmeade has already been taken care of. Given how laser-focused everything released this year is on PS/CS (with the exception of Hogsmeade), I would expect the D2C to be based on either of these two films as well
  13. The difference is that the clones in Rebels very rarely wore their helmets, in fact I think it was just for one action scene. In contrast to that, the Bad Batch constantly wear theirs, so an omission here would be EXTREMELY cheap. Or maybe it's true after all and they're planning to release helmeted versions in a future wave, but this time spread across multiple sets
  14. Maybe he has only a vague idea what it could be or his source just told him "it's not Gringotts". Either way, we should forget about it until next year (maybe). Look forward to Dobby's sock
  15. Yeah, I knew it was better not to get my hopes up Why have I a feeling that we’ll regret the day we celebrated it not being the chess set? No way. None of the leakers get information THIS early
  16. The leaflet has leaked as well
  17. If only they also had 18 characters
  18. Why though? Genuinely curious, because we already have a good Hogwarts Express set and that minifig selection was just dreadful I mean 17 minifigs and not a single new character?! That’s an impressively poor selection
  19. It is, I don’t deny that. But the August wave appears to be very inexpensive budget-wise as mentioned above, so they should have had enough resources to go that extra mile Yes, but recolours are pretty expensive too. Not as costly as new moulds of course, but still not cheap either
  20. They were willing to create four moulds for him, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t recolour those parts for this occasion as well Of course they’ll never be reused in that colour ever again, but the same can be said for the golden wands and hairpieces too
  21. Well, since we now know that the August wave will be very budget-friendly in terms of new moulds, prints, and recoloured parts, a golden Hagrid shouldn’t be too much to ask for
  22. No, I’m with you. I’m glad today is April 1st, because I would’ve outright HATED that set idea
  23. I agree with @Textorix. With sets like these, it’s probably more cost-efficient to buy the sets, extract the minifigs and either absorb the parts into your collection or sell them on bricklink Some people do buy incomplete sets, depending on the discount. To me at least, paying 100$ for a set you’re only interested in for the minifigs sounds a lot better than paying 50$ only for those minifigs
  24. Huh, interesting choice So we collectively solved it then?
