  1. They‘re only ~$60 each, so roughly the size of a SW/Marvel/DC helmet/head. Detailed enough for a stylised helmet, definitely less so for a human head I think they‘ll be heavily stylised, like deluxe Brickheadz or something. Going the ‚realistic‘ route can only go wrong at this price point
  2. Not surprised. The Cap set being based on AoU makes a lot more sense than TFA, considering it‘s 4+ Still hoping for a TFA set further down the line. For some reason, Cap tends to be included in the smallest set in each Avengers-related wave, so a small TFA non-4+ set seems like a pretty good bet for a future Infinity Saga wave
  3. Just deflating another stupid fake rumour before it gets any traction: that Gringotts escape set reported by a nobody on IG is obviously not going to happen They couldn‘t even be bothered to come up with a set number that makes any sort of sense
  4. Which is why I said ‚most‘ And obscurity is hard to measure of course. Plus it can fluctuate quickly, one well-placed scene in a film, series or game can be enough to elevate a character significantly
  5. Mine are Lockhart, Crabbe, and Goyle Not sharing the enthusiasm for Justin though He's most likely going to have a very common hairpiece, and the same goes for his face print (unless they give him a petrified expression, but not counting on that)
  6. The SDCC minifigs will definitely stay exclusive, but the characters they're based on not necessarily. The thing is that most of them are very obscure in general or at least obscure variants, so chances for them to show up in regular sets are low anyway. Or they appear in media TLG is not likely to produce sets for (e.g. the Spidey minifigs based on the PS games or the DC ones based on the CW shows). That situation can also change, as evidenced by Shazam, who has become quite well-known years after his SDCC minifig, thanks to the movie. Another example is Bizarro, who also showed up in a Mighty Micros set The only one I'll never forgive them for is The Collector, who appears in 3 movies and introduces the audience to the concept of the infinity stones, so quite a pivotal role for the first three phases of the MCU. It's the only superhero SDCC minifig I've ever purchased (the others are the two Unikittys and Barb from Stranger Things) and I doubt this'll change, unless they decide to do more MCU minifigs Please don't
  7. Not wanting to question your choice, but totally questioning your choice here: why? Isn‘t it mostly likely just the CMF S2 version, but with the 2018 hairpiece in white? Or is that why you‘re particularly looking forward to it?
  8. How about „Marvel Studios“? Or alternatively, put the names of all four shows on there, like they did for WW S1
  9. Good point, just because the whole Remembrall thing turned out to be false or a misunderstanding, it‘s not necessarily a playset. I do think it is though, mainly because of the inclusion of Hooch. If the set really was a buildable Quidditch-related object, wouldn‘t the golden minifig (Guirrell) be enough of an extra? Why a regular minifig on top of that? Besides, there‘s already a $250 D2C filled with objects, so what would be the point of an additional object which probably even isn‘t in the same scale with the others in a puny $30 set?
  10. I assume that 76395 is also a June release then, along with the other minifig-scaled sets? That would explain why the Hooch figure has leaked already and why Guirrell is among the six golden minifigs that TLG teased
  11. Couldn‘t agree more To me, a „bad“ set would be either unoriginal, over-priced, badly designed or a combination of the above. It‘s safe to assume that all of these can be ruled out
  12. You couldn‘t make this sh*t up Have we learned NOTHING from these films? Part of me hopes this happens, simply because the thought of Musk getting devoured by a particularly vicious dinosaur does put a smile on my face The guy is essentially a cartoony villain by this point
  13. Does that mean it‘s a „normal“ flying lesson set after all?
  14. Every set is brickbuilt But I know what you mean, non-minifig-scale stuff. I don‘t fault the designers for thinking outside of the box, but why OH WHY couldn‘t they release Gringotts and DH sets first, like any rational-thinking human would have? I mean, which plan makes more sense on paper? A: focus on 2 movies each year and complement the DH wave with an anniversary one, do something new after all 8 films are done B: abandon the plan after 3 years and do whatever
  15. Agreed, they’re far from terrible. They’re simply not what we wanted
  16. Perhaps the school supplies idea wasn’t that outlandish after all
  17. Fair point This has a pretty horrifying implication though: more $120 spots going to buildable figures in future waves
  18. I doubt anyone in their right mind would call a set with buildable figures of Harry and Hermione “Hogwarts Icons Collection” The way I see it, there are two options: The set is what it says on the tin, a collection of iconic objects related to Hogwarts It does refer to the figures instead, but that would only make sense as a label, not a set name (in essence, the HP equivalent to “ultimate collector series”) A label being confused with a set name makes little sense to me and I trust our informants, so I’ll go with option 1
  19. I agree, I don’t think it’s ever been implied to be more than five And I would gladly sacrifice a sixth figure for the team’s helmets
  20. Thanks for revealing the name At first, I thought this would help us narrow down the list of potential items, until I realised that almost every iconic object in this franchise is connected to Hogwarts
  21. I disagree, because that would mean we’d finally get an unmasked T’Challa
  22. It's rumoured to be a collection of buildable objects, but we don't know for sure yet
  23. We simply don’t know yet There could definitely be a sixth one, but not sure which one would make the most sense. Griphook and Dudley are already exclusive, so I’d expect a repeat of a PS minifig here
