  1. Sure, but TLG has gotten a lot better in that regard Still not perfect, but infinitely more thorough than they used to be. Case in point: this theme
  2. Three times in a row now! I seriously hope he finally gets a minifig next year. He plays the main antagonist in Indy 5, so they can’t omit him again
  3. I was thinking the same thing I was a bit meh on this set before, but this hint changes everything. They could reasonably include 212th troopers, Cody, Boga, a crab droid, Tion Medon, and/or Magna Guards Of course they’d never do all of that in a single set, but the possibilities are exciting!
  4. While that’s not an unreasonable position, I highly doubt this is their thought process. Would people really stop collecting if Gringotts had already been released? There’s still enough stuff left fans are clamouring for. Also, themes don’t end with a bang, they fizzle out Or is there an example of a theme purposefully going out with a last hoorah?
  5. Ha! I knew the AT-TE didn’t have to be based on AOTC If this is true, I hope for Boga to be included! Kinda dark since that would make it an Order 66 set, but still
  6. Harry was the July leak I was referring to (on the 15th, to be precise) Not really that early. The sticker sheet followed on the 6th of August Speaking of silly faces: It still just kills me that they decided to immortalise this classic in minifig form:
  7. Yeah, Playmobil is not really a competitor in my eyes, as it’s a construction toy only in loosest sense. They mostly do their own thing instead of copying LEGO, which I have respect for. …Except for trying to ride the coattails of the success of TLM, which blew up in their faces horrifically And their collectable figures also have some similarities, at least when it comes to package design and the timing, which was also suspicious. Still leagues above Kre-o that outright copied very specific parts
  8. It’s too early for that sort of leak, unless the D2C set gets released way sooner than we thought The DA minifigs started to leak in July
  9. I highly doubt there’s another set coming. My guess would be either an accessory pack or a polybag, even though those tend to leak as a whole rather than just individual parts included in them My dream would be a bad guy accessory pack with Voldy and some OotP Death Eaters, but we shall see
  10. In my opinion, they should have done it in the style of the Crocodile Creator Expert set with brick-built tracks at $250 Do I look like I have space for a full set of tracks plus one or even two stations?
  11. Not liking an idea and thinking a set is amazing are not mutually exclusive though While I maintain that a $470 HE is a bad idea, I still believe it‘ll be a fantastic-looking set. @lego_guyon02: Good to have you back!
  12. I’ll be receiving 7 of the sets today! The exceptions are the JP and Triceratops sets (both exclusives that the shop I ordered from doesn’t carry yet) and the Pyroraptor one, which is on backorder
  13. While I‘d also prefer Hogsmeade - because the station could be included in its entirety in contrast to King‘s Cross which would have to be only a small section of it - King‘s Cross is just the more iconic one of the two. Platform 9 3/4 is just too iconic to omit in a $470 HE set None, I‘m not @THELEGOBATMAN I’m not saying Fulcrum is wrong, I’m questioning why everyone is so willing to forgive him for the crap he pulled a coupla months ago
  14. My point is not that it‘s hard to decide what to include in a set like that for $500. They could easily do it for $1000 by including even more stuff My point is that this should‘ve been a $250 set instead. Do we *really* need the station(s) too? So you want this for $470?
  15. Exactly. We have to accept that we‘re denied Gringotts for a third time in a row now, but I‘m not getting aboard this particular train () unless someone else independently corroborates the rumour. Sorry Fulcrum, but you ain‘t fooling me for a fourth time (or a fifth even?) Don‘t jinx it Why sell a train and two stations for $470 when you could just as well sell the train alone for $250? The station‘s an unnecessary inclusion IMO
  16. Whoops, my apologies If they continue like that, DA will retire before a Gringotts set gets released It really has become our Phase II Cody now! I would be bitter about that, if it weren‘t for the excellent June wave
  17. Couldn‘t agree more. While it‘s certainly more worthy of the spot than most of the other set ideas, it‘s still crazy to think of a train set that’s this expensive I wonder how they justify that
  18. Has he though? Maybe it‘s just based on what Fulcrum said Not that I don’t trust @Falconfan1414, but I‘ll wait for Promobricks / Stonewars to comment on it. Fulcrum just isn‘t trustworthy anymore
  19. The station being included suggests a minifig scale train, which can surely not be worth more than $250, in which case half of the set would be dedicated to background fodder Weird year where the D2C set is by far the least interesting out of all of them
  20. I never promised any such thing And I still stand by the point that a DA expansion would make a lot more sense than an overpriced train, but making sense is not always part of the equation
  21. Probably better to assume this is true, even though it‘s from a sketchy source I guess the train is iconic enough to deserve a D2C, but that price point is ridiculous, even with the full train and the station And the minifig selection will be pretty lame, even if the epilogue characters were to be included
  22. Is Fulcrum the only source on this? Not believing it until a reliable leaker confirms it After his No Way Home, Mario CMF, and Rex & Cody accessory pack bullsh*t he first has to earn back my trust
  23. Doesn‘t sound believable to me in the slightest. Not that the ship wouldn‘t deserve the UCS treatment, but that price point would be a bit much A $300 one would be more appropriate IMO. And there‘s no reliable source attached to this rumour
  24. His stache isn’t THAT ridiculous though I really liked that minifig, until the 2018 version came along to show us how it’s really done. The only thing the first reboot has over the current second one is Bellatrix’ dresspiece, or rather its print, not the skirt piece itself. The skirt moulding introduced in 2018 is just so much better than the old slope piece
