LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Isn’t there only one set in May that isn’t a bust or a M&G tie-in? This may take a while then as I doubt that would leak separately Plus, we still don’t have the set list for March either. -

It’s Leia’s I wonder if there’s a GWP and if so, what it could be! Eddie playing his guitar atop the trailer would be great and terrible at the same time for being an awesome, but short-lived exclusive (just like Eddie himself! …too soon?) I mean we already have the torso print and nothing else is required in terms of prints or recolours, except for a new faceprint perhaps. -

You’re right!! Didn’t realise it was that hairpiece ^^ I think it fits pretty well. They kinda shot themselves in the foot by already giving them mid-legs in the previous set Had that one used short legs instead, the mid-legs would’ve worked in the new one. That said, going by Potter rules, regular legs are justified too -

You mean GITD white?? That colour is almost indistinguishable from regular white until you switch the lights off, and then it glows in a shade of green. Neither invokes the appearance of a patronus in any shape, way, or form, to be honest -

Yeah, definitely not these two because they both have reused faceprints and hairpieces. The others have unique faceprints (Will, Mike, Nancy, Eleven, and Max, not sure about Lucas and Dustin), a new hairpiece (Nancy and Holly), and/or recoloured hairpieces (Max and Steve) People also complain about Vecna, but he’s got printed arms and legs, plus his signature claw! Sure, the colour choice is debatable, but everything in the Upside Down is hard to pin down in terms of colouration and we don’t know yet what Vecna looks like in S5 after getting injured at the end of S4. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
BrickBob Studpants replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I don’t think I’ve ever done a wishlist like this before, so here we go: The Exile II (The Acolyte) with Mae, Osha, Sol, and Qimir Battle of Naboo (TPM) with grassy terrain, two Kaadus, bomb desposit, and two STAPs, plus a Gungan, Jar-Jar, Boss Nass, and 2x Battle Droid Bounty Hunter Chase (AotC): a remake of the 2002 set, like the one that was supposed to be released in 2020, with Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Zam Wesell TIE Defender (Rebels) with Thrawn, Pryce, a TIE pilot, and a Stormie TIE Reaper (Rogue One) with a TIE pilot, 2x Death Trooper, and 2x Shoretrooper The Fireball (Resistance) with Kaz, Jarek, Neeku, and Tam The Galleon (Resistance) with Kragan, Synara, Skreek, Torra, and Cptn Doza Imperial Remant battlepack (Mando) with 2x Stormie, a Death Trooper, and an Incinerator Trooper Rancor vs Scorpenek Droid (TBoBF) with Boba, Din, Krrsantan, and 2x Pyke Soldier Gorian Shard’s Corsair (Mando) with Gorian, the Ugnaught coxswain (coxswine?), Vane, Din, Grogu, and Greef Nothing from the OT or ST as these two eras are covered extremely well -

The Paul Atreides faceprint isn’t a great choice, but the hairpiece does fit pretty well I think! At least it’s better than Kramer’s hairpiece I think people exaggerate a bit with the lack of recognisability. The outfits here, apart from Dustin’s, aren’t iconic… yet. The first set had the advantage of S1 and 2 already having been established, so of course the outfits were more recognisable. I think peoples’ perception will change a bit once S5 drops. Yeah, the lack of leg printing besides Vecna is annoying, but guess what, none of the human characters in the first set had leg printing either At least the torsos are all new I think! -

No, but it’s still a great set in my opinion! Doesn’t hold a candle to the 2019 set, but few sets do. The only thing I truly dislike about it is Jonathan’s faceprint. I hate it whenever they use that super-generic print for a named character, most recently Sherlock Holmes and Cornelius Fudge! I even would’ve preferred any of the other usual suspects among overused prints (Han, Kaz, Bruce, Henry) -

It’s actually even weirder than that because two of the January Speed Champions sets can already be pre-ordered, just like the Batman sets scheduled for March -

Sounds like it. We’ve known for a while that one of the episodes is titled “The Disappearance of [blank]”, so I think we now know who that blank will be! Getting Pennywise vibes here! -
He’s so OP, he gets beaten in most fights, and has to be rescued by other characters multiple times Something tells me you didn’t even watch it. You’re tearing me apart, Turt-El! That means Superman can show up! After all, he flies like a bee, not like a bird. Actually, he has no wings, so he flies like neither of them. Batman has wings though… BAN HIM FROM HIS OWN GAME

I thought that was a joke on Discord because they didn’t know his actual name So they avoid the spoiler by calling him Mr Whatshisface? Or will that be his codename in the show too? -

Do we expect the patroni to be glittery trans-light blue again or trans-light blue satin instead? That colour was introduced in 2020 I think, so after the first patroni already came out, and they probably stuck with the original colour until 2022 for the sake of consistency. Since it’s pretty much a reboot now, they could easily switch colours ^^ Personally, I’m fine with either option -

Interesting! So this set does have a spoiler for S5, namely that The minifig selection is even better than expected! I’d rather have this character and Holly over another Joyce and Hopper ^^ -

Holly makes sense! Looks like she might get a bigger role in S5? But when does the spoiler character ever wear a fedora? -

Wow, what a neat surprise!! Looks great! Quite a few new hairpieces and faceprints! Poor Jonathan got the short end of the stick with that overused bland faceprint. Quite funny that they all have normal legs now! Who are the guy in the fedora and the girl next to him tho? -

That’d be kinda hilarious, but if we’re lucky, they won’t mix smart and dumb minifigs and most people can safely skip the smart brick sets And making smart minifigs of random side characters would be an incredibly boneheaded idea. -

I’m really glad it’s only the OT (so far) because the likelihood of a character ending up only being represented by a smart minifig is very close to 0. With the PT or Mando, there’d be a real risk of a smart minifig being the first (and perhaps only) version of a desirable character Same goes for the builds. Looks like it’s all stuff we’ve had dozens of times before -
Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
BrickBob Studpants replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Marvel isn’t mentioned among the themes that do get smart bricks (i.e., Star Wars, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Bluey, Friends, and Technic), but it can’t be ruled out A Hulkbuster and a buildable Groot -

Objectively, yes, but I don’t collect the modulars, sadly! I had no space for them when they started in 2007 and now it’s too late with the absurd aftermarket prices And I still wouldn’t have space given how many there are So I should’ve said among the themes and subthemes that I personally collect ^^ But yeah, getting the rest of the main cast is a dream come true! Hopefully we get a lot of new faceprints! The ones in the Goonies Ideas set, which provides a nice comparison with a similar character constellation, are all fitting, but they did recycle a few too, so hopefully that can be avoided here. I’d hate for Steve for instance to be blemished by another reuse of the Henry faceprint from PotC they keep using for Spidey, Ant-Man, and now Brand from the Goonies set Nancy getting the Jyn Erso / Black Widow faceprint is unavoidable I’m afraid. -

The set allegedly really is the Creel House! Steve, Robin, and Vecna are also rumoured to be included! It’s rare when a set releasing on Jan 1st already has set of the year potential Edit: Ninja’d! -

They won’t. I think the main reason they don’t do this kind of side printing is because the print might rub off if you move the arms too much Nobody’s gonna lose sleep over warning labels rubbing off -
