Hey again! It's me, Pau, and I know I've posted Magic Shop on Eurobricks before, but the pictures are all wrong, there's missing information and I just thought I'd post it properly again. Here goes nothing! Magic Shop (btw, the most awesome name a modular has ever had ) Please support Magic Shop on Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/127875. From the bottom of my heart, I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel it stopping, that's why I need your help. Rather than saying everything I've said before again, I'd much rather reflect my thoughts looking a year back. (DeLorean goes here).... I still remember the day I was building this, looks alright, definetely interiors aren't my strongest point. The detail I added on the back wall works nicely. That stained glass window is still mindblowing. Nice details throughout, nothing spectacular though. I really love the desk lamp, made from that weird piece introduced as weightlifting weights. Did you know that it wasn't until this floor was begun that I decided upon a German timbered house, the idea before that was a "glass and mirrors" sort of thingy. Great floor on the exterior, rather strange on the interior. Btw, while building this on LDD, I accidentally destroyed half of the back wall and had to be reconstructed ! The minifigs, six. Enough to populate the modular's street. Rather cool paining though. EXTRA CONTENT!! Just like there was a Mini-Modulars set, I did one for this! The "original design" included an extra floor that was just removed from the set. A very good idea in my opinion.

As SvenF shared his awesome entires to the ReBrick Modular Contest, I thought I'd do the same! Remember, maximum is 16x16, yellow-faced minifigures only and must add to any of the existing modulars. Having said that, let's begin with.... Donatello's Art Studio: An old-style art studio, with all sorts of details and painings. Talking of which, there are three of them reminiscent of real ones: A map of Europe on the back wall, Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer and The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. Donatello is the blonde guy's nickname, honouring Donatello the Renaissance Italian painter, the other two bearded minifigs are the judges; they'll decide whether Donatello's work is worth an exhibition or it's just a mere copy of old work... . Would be located on the 1st floor of Pet Shop's brown building. Right now it is at 5th position of the most liked entries, with over 350 views! Jean's Bakery: A modern, sleek bakery, with a vintage touch! White bricks, chequered floor, palet tables are jst some of my favorite details in this one. Jean, as you can imagine, owns this bakery in the south of France, there would be a crêpe-o-maker, but there was no space availabe for that. What there was space for, though, was Jean's second favourite thing: music, and not any sort of music, but classical music. That's why he has the today unused machines there were to play it: a grampohone and a record player. Would be located on Assembly Square's blue building ground floor, instead of that rather boring café. Jean's Bakery is clocking 31 likes with only 300 views, and at 3rd position! Thanks for bearing with me and my long speech, leave comments if you liked it!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I put three builings on the back, but two would give that plaza look too! If they do that concept, I'm betting they'll share interiors between the buildings. I mean, maybe the three buildings on the back are all part of a big museum or something! The funniest thing is that all the rumours there were COULD be thrown in "Assembly Square". Inverted corner, maybe hospital... -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
To me, Assembly Square looks like this: 5 or 6 buildings, one of them being a restaurant, using part of the plaza for a terrace, and the other one maybe a museum. Fountain in the middle, porch in every building, lots of planters and flower boxes. It should all hopefully fit in 2 32x32, making it 64x32 (see right pic). Buildings are very skinny so they don't use that many pieces. *Sorry for terrible drawing and quality of pictures, my scanner is pretty rubbish...* -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
What I see, is their first (and probably last) chance they have to do buildings that follow one style. If I were them, I'd do a square filled with IDK, Gothic Buildings, or brightly-coloured Italian Townhouses -
2017 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion

BTW, in my design, I added on the back spoiler the DRS system that helps to increase the amount of overtakes. I know that Lego's never done so, but I think it would be cool! -
2017 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Town
Oh, you can add them on LDD, but I couldn't render them. For the decals I had to unzip and mod the decorations folder, and the render just allows the unzipped folder, so it's Photoshop... -
2017 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Town
OK, I was actually worried that all my hopes of a good Mercedes WO7 F1 car were over because of the actual Lego colour palette. So I tried it on LDD, and, to me the best colour is the retired Dark Turquoise (officially Bright Bluish Green, I think), well actually I went on and finished the car, added nice decals and everything. Hopefully, it'll look something like this! Btw, it's based on the McLaren Pit Stop set from 2015. -
2017 Speed Champions Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Town
Oh great! In cases like this you see how awful Speed Champions cars look without stickers! Btw, that green in Mercedes F1 W06 doesn't look right. It should be aqua... (I can't think of a more suiting colour, since thay discontinued Dark Turquoise... -

Welcome to "The Iron Horse"! This family-run restaurant, now owned by Emma, but dating back from at least her grandfather, offers anything you can ask for. From drinks and beers on the first floor to a full menu on the second floor with the best views of the city! It's the big day for Emma! After months hidden beneath the scaffoldings, she is proud to present the new and revamped version of the original restaurant. With her, the new cook, the new waiter and three curious taking pictures at the inaguration. This new look of the building resembles the original Mississippi Townhouse very much, although not as dusty and about to fall over! Minifigures: Along with some of the interior furniture. I'm so happy about this modular that I've submitted it to Lego Ideas. If you want it to stay a chance, please support it! Lego Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/146287 Oh, I forgot. All the interior pics: First Floor Second Floor Ehem, not really a floor, just the underside of the roof...

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
paupadros replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
To me it doesn't matter at all what's on the inside. I think all a modular needs is a good shape, good height and good colours! -
New Images! Interior on the first floor. Art Gallery on the wider part, indoor fountain on the narrower (nice detail, huh? ) Interior on the second floor. Living space on the right, with matching carpet and painting, couch, TV and shelf Tiled floor with a nice lounge area the enjoy the views of the city! Thanks everyone for such nice comments! I love you all so much!

Hey it's me, Pau Padrós, you may know me from my Ideas account: https://ideas.lego.c...padros/activity Anyway, I'd like you to be completely honest with what you think. Please don't hesitate to comment. La Sagrada Familia This is the recreation of the worldwide famous cathedral located in Barcelona. It is by far the most complex build I've ever done, and also the one which ended up looking the best. Unlike many other sets Lego does, this is a 360° display piece, which means that it can be viewed from all four sides and it still looks magnifiscent. The beautiful cathedral standing 57 cm (22"). This shows the cathedral on its Facade of Birth. Facts: 57 cm tall 9016 pieces 7699 tan pieces 856 tan tooth pieces 144 tan column pieces 120 tan "Lego Games" microfigures An extra shot: The Sagrada Familia as the centerpiece of a layout (along with some of my own modulars ) This is a never-seen-before creation, and I'm happy to show it to the wonderful people of Eurobricks, as the Ideas people rejected such creation. Well, they lose the chance, don't they?

They're there, but hidden in the image, well, whatever. The wall colour was extremely tough to choose. I had the lightest shade of yellow (pretty sure it's called Cool Yellow) but after two months of undecisiveness, I changed it. I may change it to tan just to try it. And it is on Lego Ideas!

Very nice! Love this wild west theme. Also supported on Ideas, it deserves it! Good work -
Hey it's me, Pau Padrós, you may know me from my Ideas account: https://ideas.lego.c...padros/activity Anyway, I'd like you to be completely honest with what you think. Please don't hesitate to comment. Italian Villa The follow-up to the very successful modular Magic Shop. Designed from January 2016 to February 2016, it resembles a stand-alone villa which was adapted as a townhouse to the ever-expanding city of Paunia. Welcome everyone to the Italian Villa! This is my second modular after Magic Shop (also on Eurobricks: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133706&hl=). Facts: 2148 bricks 30.5 cm tall (about 12") Flame Yellowish Orange clour scheme Nice vegetation on the side wall Beautiful open area on the top Minifigues & Interior Highlights: All five minifigures with a rather nice street sign, grandfather clock and modern painting You know how I am, suggest new ideas, and of course feel free to write anything you like/dislike about this modular! Thanks for reading! I really appreciate it!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Anyone know anything? I don't know, I'm pretty sure there were rumours for Brick Bank this time last year...
