  1. Oh, I want to see that!
  2. Oh là là! Really really good! Fantastic puns on the names. Guessing "le café au moulin vert" is a pun to "Mourin Rouge". I've been following for a while your updates on the other Pedestrian street project's updates, but never thought it'd be so thoughtful and cramped with such wonderful deatils. Having said that, the main picture is not too great. I understand, it's ridiculously hard to take a picture of something enclosed like this, but I don't know... Maybe that's why your project isn't getting as much support as I thought it would. And I know how freaking long buildings like these take to design. Back and forth about two colour schemes, then building something that looks even half decent. Yours just has the issue of not being photo-friendly. That's it. Everything else is wonderful. And I'm a big fan of the street splitting in half, let's see where you'll take it from there! Pau
  3. Thanks a lot! Your most recent modular, the one is really great, I'll throw a coment there when I can!
  4. Is it just me, or people have been holding on to AS? I know I am, but in the last few pages, it seems like a surprising amount of people have also done it. It could actually be the modular that nobody bought the year it was released. Not getting into much discussion, but I must say it just laps Brick Bank. Maybe not so much with DO and PR, but it is so much better than BB. Athough its middle building has never really grown on me. Let's be honest it's the medium nougat building the one that makes it a worthwhile piece for the shelf!
  5. Grazie! I was doing an Italian piazza like those in all around the north of Italy (Modena, Piacenza, Vicenza, even insiperd by Burano...) in the style of Assembly Square. It was genuinely my favourite to date, with one building yellow, the other orange and a walled off patio in the center, but I forgot to pull out the hard disk it was in and fried it while rendering . Maybe I'll redo it in some time! Anyway, grazie mille!
  6. Straight outta Reddit! As a matter of fact, Palace Cinema did come out in March! Glad it's a joke! Kind of embarassing I didn't check the watermark year... And on the topic of the gas station, a Texaco Back to the Future one would be rather brillint. Yes, similar to Flo's V8 in Cars.
  7. You guys seen this? 10256 launched this March...?
  8. So clever! Only that windscreen would allow for the doors to be raised like that. And nice rear end!
  9. Guys... if those are real, telling by usual price/piece values... It's kinda shocking: 10256: (Which, let's not forget, "should" be the next modular's number) - 6100 pieces (0'6 ppp) 10260: 2600 pieces (0'6 ppp) 10261: 5300 pieces (0'6 ppp) 10262: 2050 pieces (using 0'7 ppp) 10263: 1400 pieces (0'7 ppp) I'm basing this off AS's ppp (price per piece) ratio in euro, which was exactly 0'6€. Obviously, the last two have a little steeper ratio. Having said that... 10256: It's still not time, but follow up to Taj Mahal, SOH and Big Ben. Fingers crossed for Sagrada Familia this time! Just kidding, I know they wouldn't do a religious building... 10260: The modular. Whatever it is, seems reasonable. 10261: I'm dropping it, Rollercoaster. If they do it properly, this piece count is to expect. 10262: 14-wide car. This time... Hmmmm... Why not, a bigger F1 car, like that Technic one soooo many years ago. 10263: Winter Village. No expert at all here. Let's just say... Sleigh Repair Shop, seems legit. Maybe a reissue, there already was an Eiffel Tower back in 2007 https://brickset.com/sets/10181-1/Eiffel-Tower
  10. Funny how things work out. This once was a topic for general modular questions, but has become a magnet for many of us around September-November to speculate about the new modular coming out, making this (if I'm not mistaken), one of the threads with the biggest amount of answers. That's why modulars are so amazing. It's like a trully original brand new Pixar story, but every year. Everything is new every time, nobody knows what Jamie & co. are up to! I would absoultely hate a Lego Store modular. Like an absolute 0 for me.
  11. Acutally Women of Nasa is so much more decent than I ever expected. Has nice prints and pretty good parts here and there.
  12. Oooh, five Creator Expert sets, we hadn't seen that since 2014...!
  13. 20: 10 10: 6 15: 4 17: 3 18: 2 3: 1 Here's mine! Hope the best win! edit: Fixed! One more voted added
  14. Another rather interesting thing that your tables show is: More or less same piece count on PR, DO, BB (yes, I know they incresead price 10$ for BB). Respectively, 7th, 10th and not even showing. Out of all these 40 sets here, funnily, I personally own just 2. DO and Kwik-E-Mart. And about if there's enough demand on the market to keep up... I'm pretty sure there is. If there wasn't, we wouldn't all be here, right now. Everybody has his own thing. Some collect Star Wars, others Winter Village seta, other 14-wide cars. There's something for everyone, I mean, it's unlikely someone would buy a Technic set and then go on and buy the Simpsons House.
  15. Really spectacular! I didn't know of Doozy since now, but it's the kind of thing that I usually enjoy, you know, intricate but homely places that look just stellar. And with your model... It's just very very good. Really nice tables and that lamp using the bucket
  16. Come on! Just colour is different! Shape and even the rooftop decorations are very similar!
  17. I genuinely wish I knew how to put up images not-so-huge. Well, as nothing is coming up recently and everybody is talking kind of nonsense, while on a trip to Switzerland, I found this pretty much perfect replica of Assembly Square. Imagine when on the side of the road in a town called "Seelisberg", I think, I saw this beauty. I was like: "Hey! I've seen that before! ). Actually, looking at it, someone should try making that building in Assembly Square Sand Blue, as here, it looks pretty bloody perfect. I thought I wasn¡t going to see any more like this, but all around Zürich, on the not-so-famous riverside it's absolutely full of buildings just like it!
  18. Nice shaping on the rear spoiler!
  19. Very very good! I trully appreciate real, phenomenally well put together modulars, and this just is spot on. I applaud your daring instincts that told you building an alleyway in the middle was a good idea. Hell it is! Beautiful! While, I've never been to Prague, the other buildings could perfectly be from England (the pub) or from my own town where I live (close to Barcelona!). I'm a sucker for perfectionist details. That tower... Just flawless, the golden lamps, the Elves keys and many many others. I trully like the olive green building. It seems like an unlikely choice for a modular - small windows, most of it run down, but it just somehow works! While I'm not 100% sold on the pub and its roof, that tower is really beautiful. Chapau, Lukas (I hope that's right ) Pau
  20. I do actually like the bigger door. It's reminiscent of the modulars and it's sort of a nice touch. PriorMarcus, wonderful MOD, really nice use of the green/yellow cheese slopes on the front side of the bus and trully clever use of the newer 1x1 stud with holer and "rounded edge" on the door mirrors!
  21. Super! I actually own an H0 version of this and must say yours looks very very on point in many aspects. That curved windshield
  22. Exactly. Not liking the summer release hypothesis though... No, you're not the only one. So when I entered Eurobricks for the 2nd/3rd time today and saw this topic atop of the page, I though: "Oh, there may be something actually!" Sadly not.
  23. Okay, those are all very reasonable reasons that make my first reason crumble down, but they don't stop me from being *kind of* right in my second statement. It would gross about the same amount of money even with the higly reduced numbers, so everybody is about right on something. Nobody know for sure. We're all eagerly waiting. I honestly hoped there would have already been some news by now, but the official announcement should be in at least two weeks' time. That doesn't stop it from being weird there's no real plausible rumours yet.
  24. I imagine you had great trouble splitting the roof to accomodate the tower in the first place, but maybe the one thing that draws from it is the fact that the tower is not straight in the front. Maybe you could try to move it further front, but I imagine that is very complex...
  25. Gorgeous! I honestly thought when reading the title... Oh, no... What a tremendously terrible idea! Not at all! Seems to fit right in as San Francisco terraced house. Also, wounderful MOD on your GB Firehouse!
