  1. Dip ba deep blip bip beep beyooop. [some are saying that the case against C-3PO is severely flawed. I think it's got some holes in it, but I think the chances of those things being true aren't any more likely than them being untrue. I don't think the case against anyone else is as strong yet. Vote: C-3PO (Brickdoctor)]
  2. Badeep boop beeep sceeuuw. [so you agree that it's most likely one of you two who let Hugar know, but you don't think it was Coryn? At least, I infer the latter from the fact that you have yet to accuse Coryn of anything other than misguided suspicion based on a coincidence of timing.] Bip beeeep badoop bip beep. [Yes, you told me of that suspicion which I believe originated with Corobb. I have reviewed my correspondence data files and find no evidence that I even hinted at such a thing to Hugar, so he didn't learn of that suspicion from me. That said, I think approaching this from the perspective that Hugar knew of an SK suspicion is distracting from the original problem with Hugar's communication. Everyone knew of the shrink. Corobb mentioned it publicly prior to Coryn revealing that Hugar was the identified Sith. When you had a chance to reveal the name publicly prior to Coryn doing it, you mentioned issues with the role claim and didn't out Ssiht yourself. Was this discussed between you three or were you still hoping to get the result suppressed for another night? The fact that Hugar knew of an SK suspicion on him or not doesn't change the fact that he was aware of the shrink and the red lightsaber. To me, the lightsaber is the smoking gun here. That was information that he shouldn't have had even though he knew about the shrink. The shrink had no reason to be aware prior to night 1 that his results would return information in the form of lightsaber evidence. None of the rest of us knew about the lightsaber until Coryn revealed it today. All we knew was that the result came up Ssiht=Sith. We didn't know the detail. It's also worth pointing out that you haven't tried to deny that Hugar knew of both of these things without needing to. You have denied some things peripheral to the main accusation - that you told Hugar of the result details. The other things are distractions from that. You haven't even really denied that you told him. Everything you've said suggests that Coryn is telling the full truth but just misinterpreting it. IMO, if you agree that Hugar had information he shouldn't have, and don't seem to think it's worth attacking Coryn, then it must be you.]
  3. Blip bip bip! [The conversation I had with C-3PO regarding Hugar on day 1 revolved around me suggesting to C-3PO that someone (I did not say who) was phishing for a protector for him. C-3PO later asked me if it was Hugar as he had recieved the same note. It was at this point I decided to go public with my suspicions on Hugar. For this reason, I lean toward C-3PO being templie on day 1. There is the possibility that C-3PO saw the writing on the wall if he heard from Corobb and Coryn that they had gotten the same message from Hugar, and decided that to be safe, he would try to mislead me as well in the process by appearing super pro-templie and outing Hugar at the same time that Windu was being voted out. This seems pretty unlikely to me, though. So my theory is, that if C-3PO is scum, he was converted.] Beep bip booop dip dup doooop bip. [i will say that I do think there's the possibility that the Sith targetted Corobb for reasons entirely unrelated to C-3PO, whether or not he's among them. It's also possible that they overruled him because they realized what a threat Corobb was to them. None of this, IMO, gets us past the question of whether or not we should test some of these theories by voting for C-3PO. I think there are other highly suspicious candidates, too, and wouldn't have much problem with voting for Monn or most any of you. That said, I think that C-3PO is a divisive figure at this point. Regardless of whether or not he's a Sith, and I will confess that I think the odds of it are reasonably good, he's difficult to leave alive. His situation stands in the way of us learning more about everyone else. For now, FoS: C-3PO (Brickdoctor). This is where my vote will most likely go unless some more substantial evidence comes forward later in the day. Lastly, why did Sherlock investigate Corobb if he had already entrusted his role, results, and very life to him?]
  4. Blip beep bip beep scooooooooooo. [i'm quite sad to see Roron has been killed as he was working hard to clear this temple of the filth that has infested in it. I hope that my efforts to FoS Hugar on day 1 while Windu was the primary lynch candidate will let people realize that I am on the temple's side. That said, it seems likely that we have an SK and a Sith killer on our hands. No temple vig would have killed Roron. Given that only one kill happened on night 1, and we still appear to have an SK among us, the most likely scenario is that one of three things happened on night 1: - One of the killers was blocked - One of the targets was protected - The Sith converted a templie If you are a temple blocker and blocked someone, please tell someone you think is trustworthy about it. That could be someone to investigate further in the future. and we don't want to lose that information moving forward. Likewise, if you protected someone, it might be good to make sure that secret doesn't die with you if you happen to get unlucky tonight as Anakin did. I think Roron was a targetted assassination and that Anakin was more of a random person to kill who wouldn't be so easy to identify a motive for.]
  5. Beep bip beeeeooooop blop dop bope. [Please, the continued insistence of some here to want to hold Cory, Corobb, and C-3PO accountable if the lynch goes poorly is starting to make you look scummy. It's almost like you're trying to set yourself up to distance yourself from this lynch decision if it turns out poorly. Perhaps you are already aware of a framed result or misdirection that you might care to enlighten us with? To everyone yet to vote, if you really want to distance yourself from this lynch, vote someone other than Hugar. I'm sure we'd be happy to review that in detail tomorrow.]
  6. Beep bip beeooop bop doop. Weeeoooooooop! [i had suspicions yesterday, and while it's possible that the result is inaccurate, I don't see any other way to test this than to vote for Hugar. If Hugar is a vengeful templie, then his desire to take out a Jedi with his action is quite pro-Sith. I don't see it as anything more than a scare tactic to get us to not vote for him. Vote: Hugar Ssiht (badboytje88)]
  7. Bleep bip boop dip scoooOOOOoooo. [What would you expect him to say? Most Sith are not like the traitor Windu who confessed. This isn't an emotional decision based on analysis of Hugar's behavior. This is a cool rational decision based on evidence. We are unlikely to have such clear evidence often. Having this evidence so early in this ordeal is a great boon to the temple, as it allows us to eliminate another Sith, or get a lot of information about the investigator in the process. As the 3-C's have suggested, it's highly unlikely that a Sith would take this gamble at this point in time.]
  8. Blip beep booooop bip! [To be fair, this is how any good templie would react to hearing about an investigation that turned out to be against them. The only person whose alignment you can fully trust at this point is your own (unless you're a mason), so a negative investigation result on anyone else should be welcome to you. I'm sure Hugar is mature enough to know that we have to test this claim.] Blip weeeurp doop blip dip dop. [No startling revelation should be allowed to divert us from testing this revelation. We can learn so much from it. In fact, any potential revelation that would suggest this result should not be tested (other than a suggestion that it was a complete fabrication just to see how everyone would react), can best be tested by voting for Hugar. Today is a no brainer.]
  9. I think Flipz needs to go back and count replies per player. IMHOTEP had 26 pages in day 1, so should be pretty close, too.
  10. Bleep bip boop dip dop. Weeeeeeeeeeeeyoup! [Well, that was certainly an unexpectedly convenient turn of events. Vote: Mace Windu (Nightshroud99)]
  11. Bop dip dop dooop blip fsssss. [sorry to throw another name out there that has to this point flown under the radar, but I'd like to point at Hugar Ssiht. I've been sitting on this name for a bit to see if it moved particularly in one or the other direction for me. Bear with me to the end, please, as that's where the real meat is.] Bip bop bip bop beeep. [The first statement was an innocuous response. The second one can be seen either way. There are elements of towniness in hiding information from scum, but elements of scumminess in not wanting town to discuss. Not much here yet.] Blip blip baaup bup boop bip bip. [i ended up responding to this to argue that voting for a quiet person isn't a terrible strategy, but will help us templies less than voting out someone who had been outspoken but appeared scummy. My reasoning for this was that a quiet person is just as likely to be pro-Jedi as they are pro-Sith, and we'll have nothing to look back on later as evidence one way or another in terms of how other people reacted to that suggestion. To me, quiet people are who you vote out when you really don't know who to vote for. By this point, I think we've had enough conversation around people that we ought to have a suspicion on someone who has been active.] Badeep. [Nothing to see here, really.] Boop bip bop biiiilp doop bop beep. [This was just about everyone's reaction and would have been something very easy for a Sith to pounce on as a way to look like they're invested in helping the temple. The thing is, this response came several hours after these votes had been cast and several others had already made this exact comment. Bip doop dip beeep [Maybe someone should make another list of quiet people so you can pick one out at random. Even after all this talking, you still don't have any inkling who looks suspicious?] Waaaaauuuuuuuup bip bip beep dip dop blip doop. Screeeeeeeeeuuuuuuwwwwww! Blip. [What I haven't mentioned yet is that shortly after my discussion with Hugar about the value of voting for quiet people versus active players, he suggested to me that we try to protect a particular player who had been outspoken to that point and appeared to be a good templie. The way it was phrased struck me as a Sith subversive, trying to find out my role or any information I might have about other people's power roles. Now it appears that Hugar hasn't suggested that just to me, but has also suggested the same idea to another member of the temple. Is he trying to find power roles so early, with no reason for us to trust him? Is he trying to distract a protector from his intended target? If you look at his comments to this point, none of them have been all that helpful, and there's very little of substance in terms of commenting on what's been happening either. It's mostly inane observations and what looks like waiting to see how things fall out before committing. FoS: Hugar Ssiht Hugar, please explain yourself.]
  12. Beep bip boop bip bip wakka woop bip! [it seems to me that Corobb has indicated he's either a vanilla-templie or a templie without one of the typically expected pro-templie night actions, and that he's leaning towards vanilla in that regard. That said, I wouldn't want to start a templie-core with such a character even if I had investigated him as pro-templie (which is not to say I am or am not an investigator). The core group of templies needs to be started with templies that can be verified in multiple ways. An investigation can be misleading, and a Sith Godfather would not necessarily have to take any night actions until his fellow Sith are eliminated. I don't think this is enough reason to vote for Corobb, but it's also a good reason not to include him in a core group. Vanilla templies will just have to live with having a little less information for awhile unless there's a way to guarantee their claims. Anyway, the point is that being a center of templie coordination is earned based on verifiable trust. Don't expect to get it day 1.] Bip beep booooop bip. [Nahdar, surely you can see that your vote is a bit hasty given the value of our one vote. You're essentially looking at the worst case scenario because that is how you would respond, but it doesn't mean that Corobb should be voted off immediately. In fact, I am leaning towards you being a templie who has flirted with the dark side in the past and sees signs of it in Corobb. Anyone who has spoken as much as he(?) has and attempted to coordinate things is likely to be caught in the coming days. The odds of maintaining such a charade when there are other active templies here suggest to me that Corobb has earned the benefit of doubt for the time being.]
  13. I've come to decide that this is a flaw in the way people here play the game. First off, it's disrespectful of the game creator, who went out of their way to craft an interesting storyline and environment in which to set the game. Then they went and built elaborate MOC's to showcase and tell that story. What's the point of all that work if all the players just throw it out the window. Second, the game is far more interesting if you can play it in character rather than just as a generic you. We wonder why there is so much metagaming... well maybe it's in part because people play the game exactly the same regardless of their character. Flitwick seems to be the only person who regularly gets away with it.
  14. Bleep bip beep booooooooooop! [i'm more suspicious of the foul one for following up the vote so quickly than the overzealous initial vote, but it's not entirely unreasonable that sith would try to hide behind the no unvote rule.] Bop scooOOOoo bip bleep crick beeeeep. [in addition to Mace and Ahsoka, who are looking suspicious to me for reasons stated, Aayla and Anakin each responded rather testily to some very early banter (posts 22 & 25, I think). It did not strike me as a measured, Jedi reaction so early.] Bip bip boooOOOO blat cooo. [i'm not entirely thrilled at having to lug around this ridiculously heavy translator that Anakin fit me with!]
  15. All you bleepin' bleepers don't bleepin' appreciate any role play in your bleepin' bleep games! I'm gonna bleepin' vote for the bleepin' bleepest of you all! Fine... I'll put my own comments in. At least one person thought it was fun. (me)
  16. Bloop bip booooop bip dop doop. Doooooop dip dop.
  17. Bleep bip screeeeuuw!!!!! Bip bip! Beeooooop bip boop. Bing bip bip! Bip bip bip bop bip bip! BoooooooOOOOOooooop.
  18. Bip beep clrkclrkclrk boooop! (This should be interesting with two of us doing that! Maybe I'll have to send translations to C-3PO...)
  19. Beeeeep beep weeyoo! I'm in, although I'm having trouble getting the avatar for R2 to take. The URL is one character too long. I'll figure it out. Also, I assume we'll get role assignments after confirmation. I got no pM
  20. Dang you people with your jedi mind tricks. I was going to resist this one, but I'll put my name in the hat if there's still room: 1. - Witchbreed, IMHOTEP, Yakuza. Was killed in all 3, twice as scum and once as vanilla townie. 2. - I have the time needed to participate. 3. - R2D2 - because I also can speak in beeps, whistles, and whines.
  21. Ah, but you only know him to be town or scum because... YOU are scum! We have precedence for lynching based on the C&D thread, maybe we'll lynch you based on the sign up thread.
  22. 1) All your monuments are belong to us (Lady Liberty) Entry (Build by CamelBoy68) 2) The ski jump in Holmenkollen in Oslo (Sleepyhead) Entry (Build by Cecilie) 6) Toxic Cleanup (Sleepyhead) Entry (Build by Darth Yogi)
  23. 4) Butcher Entry (Built by Walt) - 1 vote 31) Sleepyhead Entry (Built by watersnap) - 2 votes
  24. Conclusion is up.
  25. 1. I played in Def's Witchbreed Mafia School as the scum godfather. Also as a virgin in IMHOTEP and as a scum blocker in Yakuza. I have yet to survive, so that means I'm really scary to someone, right? 2. I don't have any anticipated time conflicts. (I also have no interest in the Jedi Temple game, FWIW) 3. My favorite false role claim was CallMePie's vampire hunter claim in Werewolf mafia. Claiming a power role like that in a flavored game when playing a vanilla townie was crazy to me, but it worked out. It was a strangely selfish yet also pro-town move.
