    I agree the banner could use an update. maybe they could have a photo that ties up all the current licenses in one photo. It could be like in the middle there could be batman, superman, wonder woman and the flash next to cap, thor, hulk, iron man and then on to the side on the left there could be TMNT characters and on the other The Hobbit characters.With the backgrounds sort of alternating like the hobbit DOS banners, Behind the hobbit could be the lonely mountain,behind tmnt there could be an alley-way and behind superheroes a city street which on one side has night-time for DC and daytime for marvel. And in a bold movie poster style font at the front the name of the page. Back on topic: I'm really looking forward to the March and April ranges and the xmen set. The guardians stuff sounds interesting but as I've never heard of them apart from watching the GOTG trailer I'll have to watch the movie first to understand those.

    As others have said, this is good for me as won't have to agonise buying a game I can't play as Lego don't put exclusive figures with the PC version anymore and I don't have a console. Thankfully this is just another seen for 5 seconds Bilbo figure which would be nil use to me as he doesn't do anything remotely important in that costume! Hopefully if they do a figure for the Blu ray of DOS it will be bit more inspired and less boring. I'd like to say it will be something exciting like Sauron silhouetted in Armour but it might just turn out to be another Bilbo in lake town armour or legolas in his DOS casual gear.

    Personally I hope it is Vitruvius from the prologue that comes with the dvd/blu ray! That is the only character variant of the main three cast members Lego hasn't made. It was a cool design with the amulet, silver headband, strange scarf thing and the normal eyes. It seems the most likely to me unless green lantern is finally going to be released. I also hope that they do what they did with the Lego batman movie and include the figure at ALL retailers rather than limiting it to target in the USA. Then again warner blu ray titles are always region free so if I have to import to get the figure then so be it! I suspect it will be like the Lego batman movie which was released everywhere with the figure. I'd estimate the release date somewhere in June as that is the usual month to coincide with February film releases (approx.4 mths after cinema release) I also hope they include his prologue staff.

    Thanks for the heads up :) My friends are all going to do the same. technically we are all teens under 18 year of age(until July for me anyways) so I see no reason they wouldn't give us the figures if we buy kid meals. I'm really looking forward to seeing it tomorrow. My friends haven't been this excited since avengers!

    Thanks for the info SMC! Me and my mates ages 16, 16, 17 and18 are going to the advanced screening tomorrow at the Odeon at 3:30. So you say all you have to do is buy a kid's meal and is the figure just placed in the box in a polybag or do you have to ask for it. I'd love both. So in Theory I buy two meals and get both figures?

    Godtshep: Its a great set. In person if you only put the side door stickers on the tumbler it looks much more like the film and the bat is probably the coolest flying vehicle batman Lego have produced it looks slick and is nice and poseable.The great draw is that you get bane though from TDKR and Gordon and the TDKR version of batman is accurate armour detailing wise shame its not black but the grey looks really cool!

    True wesker but other than the cool figures the sets with the exception of two are pretty bad. TDW and TWS have much more design potential set wise. I mean with CAP 2 we could have had a helicarrier and with thor 2 Asgard palace, Malekith's warship, flying chariots plus some earth based stuff. I mean minifigure wise we could've got: Odin, Malekith, Sif, Thor (new armour), Heimdal, Jane foster, Black widow, Steve rogers, cap (shield outfit), falcon, alexander pierce, cap (WW2 outfit), Nick fury (MCU) ad of course the winter soldier. Nice to have Skull, Goblin, electro, doc ock (comics), falcon, task master, hydra soldier.

    OOH tough one! Probably my top 10 in no particular order are: The Batcave, the Quinjet, Smallville Battle, The Riddler Chase, The daily bugle, The bat vs. bane tumbler, nick fury's flying car, captain America vs. hydra, Batman vs. Mr freeze Aquaman on ice, Doc Ock truck heist.

    Waste of an opportunity is what it is. Marvel had Thor TDW and Captain America TWS. Yet they choose that one of the greatest toy brands in the world try to publicise two one off shows which couldn't amount that much interest if they tried!

    Moon_Knight I wouldn't be so sure. Captain America 2 and ASM2 were side-lined set wise in the name of two spin off animated shows truly pale in comparison. If the new figures weren't good in the new sets based on a sluggish and uninspiring alternative to both the films and the other previous marvel shows then I would have dubbed this year a waste of potential. Marvel made a huge mistake last year they made sets for the wrong film and poor sets to top It off. Thor 2 had so much more set potential than iron man 3. TDW had many locations, vehicles and characters that would have made sets that would fly off the shelves. They have let us down over movie representation in Lego form apart from the 2012 avengers line I am disappointed to say.If they mess up the avengers 2 sets then they will have as good as buried the marvel moves line.

    I'm glad that the agents appear to be suited and booted rather than those body suits from the older waves. It gives them a bit more of a modern/James bond classic secret agent feel. Anyone else think the girl in the HQ set with the lab coat and the long ginger hair looks similar to agent Jemma Simmons in marvel's agents of shield. The sets are certainly giving off that sort of vibe. A hidden inspiration perhaps...

    I think there is a clear reason there are only 4 dc sets this year. There is no BIG film/media representation of DC this year. No films= no big waves. 2013 was the first DC wave to have 6 sets spread through 2013 due only to MOS. Had MOS not been released last year the only sets of DC would have been the three we got in the winter plus maybe another to round out the four. Hopefully we may get a surprise exclusive this year ala funhouse. Maybe with the black batman on the calendar and green lantern as rumour had it he was in a set this year. A set with that batman, green lantern and green arrow vs. 2 villains would be great at a funhouse price range £39.99. Unlikely but would be nice.

    I believe the poster said march for the avengers ones and april for Spiderman. There aren't any spoilers for films in them so I don't see why they don't just release all 5 of the spring wave together. I guess as Cap 2 comes out in march in the UK they want the avengers sets to coincide with that. Vice versa with Spidey and ASM 2 released April 18th in the UK same principle I'd reckon that the XMEN set will be out in may though as that is when the film comes out.Leaving GOTG for august. This also allows the 9 marvel sets to be spread through the year. Just2good: That would be great If all the spring sets were all released at once. I am looking forward to marvel movies and Lego the most out of this year. Well that and the hobbit.

    Darthpunk: Gandalf has been sighted with rad's staff and rad has not been seen on set apart from in Dol Guldur plus rad's actor said in an interview that Gandalf's fellowship staff is his staff and that they are the same staff he also said what that means for his character would be elaborated upon later. Taking that into consideration plus the fact in the lotr movies radagast is never mentioned and Gandalf uses his moth to retrieve eagles as he does in AUJ. I would say its a good bet that radagast is killed in TABA. I mean when you go up against sauron there has to be somebody to die and it would also possibly unite the white council on a common purpose as they hardly seem to agree with each other, let alone fight against sauron together. I reckon maybe radagast sacrifices himself but takes azog with him causing bolg to take command of sauron's forces. On topic I reckon if there is an exclusive figure with the game I'd think it'd most likely be either Thorin (moria), Old Bilbo (AUJ/TABA) or maybe thror.

    Afraid the steamroller has been availiable here in blighty since January and sadly the batman in that is just the normal black and yellow one but the new cow fits on it rather than the jet ski giveaway one in 2012.I love that variant though! Why they didn't put that in the steamroller I will never know. It is far slicker than the black and yellow one we now have god knows how many of now. Would be cool if they do an exclusive batman surprise set like with funhouse which they surprised us with in feb-march 2012. Could be where that GL is in a set rumour is coming from as well. That would be a happy development.

    For a James bond license they could do a set or two from each actor who has played bond's era. Like they did with Indiana Jones. Then in time for the release of the next bond film a wave based on that. Then whenever a bond film comes out they make a wave of sets based on it. It would be a nice stable range as like doctor who another staple of British talent bond is played different actors and seemingly annually changes to spice things up.

    Hope the Martian Manhunter promotion goes on in the UK as well as the last two Lego superheroes exclusive figure ones have and they were great. I like this figure looks very nicely done.

    WOW that clip is epic!!!!! I'm really excited now it looks like a part set long before the story of the movie as freeman is in a different costume and this appears to be the part where he is blinded n gets the glowing eyes. Really looking forward to seeing the film. Maybe we will get a Morgan Freeman in that outfit from the clip with the sea cowor a book or dvd.

    In regards to the xmen set I believe they may have taken influence from DOFP. The magneto included is the design of when he was headmaster at Xavier's school in the comics when he was on their side. Plus with the inclusion of sentinel I'm guessing magneto and the xmen are the heroes of the set and they are fighting the sentinel in the storyline of the set perhaps to make it similar to the movie rather than identical. I've also heard magneto has slicked back hair in this set which further adds resemblance to the DOFP movie. I think in a way Lego have not made movie sets this year but have given us characters and sets subtly related to the three marvel films of this few months. I love the designs of the characters in the guardians movie so I hope the figures Lego make are similar in design. Looks like a cool movie and the first marvel movie I've ever seen that I know nothing about the characters in.

    Maybe they will pull a TDKR and give us a set with Spiderman (Asm 2 Version), Green Goblin (ASM2) and Gwen (ASM2). That'd be cool. Its sad that only iron man 3 got Lego sets and yet thor 2, cap 2 and ASM2 apparently aren't entitled to Lego representation. There was so much more minifigure and set potential in Thor TDW than iron man 3 and they messed up those sets anyway but got man of steel's dead on correct. I'd have loved a Lego Malekith the accursed especially after seeing the thor 2 designs in the videogame why did they have to waste them in digital form without making them physically.

    The track on the soundtrack titled middle Zealand may suggest a cameo of the citizens of Lego's middle earth... I read a rumour that Gandalf appears in it apparently.

    Great to see these figures aren't still wearing the dark blue body suits from the original agents. I mean those were really cool but agents in suits work better for secret agents and it looks like they have the toys and rides to match! Love the whole black style of the truck as it seems more secret agent-y. Didn't get any of the last agents theme so these I will have to get. Can't wait!

    I'm not surprised that the marvel sets are scheduled for march as the 28th of march Captain America 2 comes out over here in the UK shortly followed by Amazing Spiderman 2 on April 18th. Lego will of course target the month that two of the bigger superhero movies come out and with DOFP in may the timing could not be better.
