  1. I really like the plain walls and floor although maybe a little more texture may be in need. The items scattered around and the fire place are defetintly my favourite parts. That black figure in the corner is creepy, hope we can see him in the back ground of more story builds
  2. That was the idea with the tree, glad you noticed it. Thanks Thanks Windusky Thanks Garmadon, I will try
  3. Thanks Blufiji Thanks Sk, my snow is often inspired by you after all Thanks ME, glad you like the story and build.
  4. That curved path is amazing and I love the figures, although I prefer to use either flesh or yellow I like that you combined the two, very original
  5. This is a great little build but I agree with the others about the colours. I do like the area where the spider guy was standing but the orange and lime feel a bit bright for it. I also think it may be a little cluttered, although that is probably because of the small size restrictions. A Fine moc overall, and those figures are awesome
  6. The Lighting is brilliant and so is the base and tree. With so many entries for this challenge this feels very unique and different compared to some others. Great job
  7. Thanks Isundir, unfourtuantly no, I have a habit of never doing interiors Althpigh this would have been the perfect moc for one... Ha thanks HJ, I did think it looked better this way as it is less cluttered. Thanks Even though this is an old build thanks anyway Thanks LJ, I think little details like changing a tree due to the seasons can really help so thanks for noticing. Thanks de Gothia Lord Maestro apoligises for not sending out an plea for help as although he did consider he ran out of time and just wanted to get the retaking done and over with. He hopes to be able to aid you in whatever way he can. Many thanks, Lord Maestro, Protector of Eolas
  8. We had returned with haste yet we were slowed by winters wrath. After many detours we finally made it home. There was no great hurrah when we returned, the chill kept children and elderly inside and the woman were busy caring for them. As we marched, limped, hoped and rode through the streets wives emerged from houses, watching for men that would never come. It saddened him to think of the woman that would never see their beloved husbands again. Already men drifted towards taverns and inns and he knew the ale would flow as men drown their grief. He let them go, now was not the time for the discipline and order of a shoulder, now was a time for a man mourning his fallen friends. But he could not let his grief over come him. He was summoned by the heir of Historica and he would not rest until he placed his sword at the heirs feet with the might of Eolas at his back. So if you haven't noticed this is the same build as "A heroes farewell' but slightly modified which is the reason for build and photo quality which isn't the best oh well I would rather this than rebuilding the whole thing . At last, the main story is finally finished although I am hoping to do a epilogue in the near future. This has been a load of fun to make and although the builds were the main focus I enjoyed writing the story's too. It was great when I was out of ideas and had nothing to do to be able to come back and build something. So overall I am pretty happy with it and hope you guys have enjoyed these little builds The previous build in the saga: A hollow victory
  9. Great part usage man! This moc gives me the creeps, I don't know what, its just kind off unnerving
  10. That dk orange is beautiful here and love it with the dk tan Great feature.
  11. Great fig, Nice combinations here as well, very kaliphliny
  12. First of I love that roof The shape of the cabin is also great as is all the detail of the interior. The use of cheese slopes in this moc is great
  13. It is a brilliant idea and and has a great kaliphlin feeling. With a few more bricks I feel you could of executed this idea amazingly
  14. Thanks guys, it was good fun to make something light and happy as well as trying to get the tree right Thanks Henjin and LittleJohn, I diffidently agree with you guys, some flowers would make this much better. Although I did originally label this moc 'Green'
  15. Thanks, its a neat technique and the flower piece works perfectly Thansk Henjin, I guess compared to some of my previous it doesn't seem like much but im actually coming to like it I am rather fond of using levers for arrows. Thanks Grover, I really wanted to depict it as a grim and hard battle rather than the heroic ones which are more common, glad you like it. Thanks Titus, I am glad you think it has that feeling as that is exactly what im trying to achieve
  16. The battle had gone terribly. The Drow had ambushed them and caught them unaware. They sliced through us like a hot knife through butter. Though they had smaller numbers the Drow fought savagely. Finally, after the first initial massacre, we at last gained a foot hold. Filled with a lust for revenge, the tides turned and we overwhelmed them. We had won. Although it was not with out loss. 2 out of 5 men had perished that day and many wives made widows and children fatherless. I felt anger rise within me. He would cleanse this entire island of drow before this the coming of summer and... "M'lord?" He was interrupted by a messenger, a scruffy looking fellow holding a small letter. "yes?" I asked him. " y-y-you are Lord Maestro?" He obviously did not recognize me with out my usual beard, which I had shaved off as a sign of mourning. "I believe so, you have a message?" "M'lord, the true heir to historica has returned, m'lord and he is calling all faithful to his banner. I know you may not believe me m'lord but its true, the sent me too y-" "Enough" I cut off his babbling and turned to a passing guard "Tell my commanders to meet me in my pavilion immediately". Cleansing Eolas can wait, It was time to join the king, and fight the real enemy. Not at all really satisfied with this build. The rock work is meh, the layering is meh, and the fig posing is meh :/ The story is also meh as I kinda got carried away :P Oh well, what I lack now I will (try) make up for in my next big build. Hope you enjoy :) Also, yes I did see that arrow that fell out The previous build in the saga: A heroes farewell The Next build in the saga: A chilly welcome
  17. Here's a little build I chucked together using some new techniques. Luckily for you I only got back from my holiday with 5 days before school resumes, so that spares you from my usual onslaught of holiday builds
  18. A time when villages weren't burnt or plundered, and peasants murdered or taken as slaves. A time when you didn't walk in fear and look over your shoulder at every turn. A time when you could rest under a tree, and know no drow would slaughter you in your sleep. First build of the year (at last) :P and its pretty simple. Just a small scene to start with larger ones on the way. The Hill was a nice challenge to try and create, and I needed another tree design so this was the perfect time to try it out. I'm pretty happy overall. I will probably post one or two builds today or tomorrow. Hope you enjoy :) P.s. I did mean it to seem a little blocky :P
  19. As soon as we join Raavages side those cursed drow would backstab us and plunder our land. I personnely prefer the Alliance, as it seems a much more trust wothy side
  20. Well this is just great. As soon as I go on holiday everthing starts up and becomes real busy. :P Meanwhile im stuck in a beautiful paradise surrounded by no bricks. This sounds so cool though, I can't wait to get started :D
  21. Yes titus, yes. This is just to cool. to have this on display would be wicked. First off, that stine work man, so good. Secondly, that rock work is perfect, it works wonders as a base. Thirdly, everything else in the moc . Seriously well done, for some reason I jus love this moc.
  22. Nice builds and minifgs Brandon I've got a new free build up Avalonian siege tower by Jed Cameron, on Flickr
  23. Nice build Exetrius, I love the shaping of the tower and the landscape. The lantern is a nice touch to. This line made me crack up
  24. Somewhere among the sprawling marshes of Nocturnus an Avalonian force is helping the resistance lay siege to a black spire city. Catapults hurl rocks at the attackers and arrows fall like rain. Yet the siege weapons roll on, determine to take back what is rightfully theirs. CCC XIV - Siege warfare My last entry to the CCC, my last Goh build and also my last biggish castle build in 2016. A bit rushed and very simple I think it turned out well. The trees are defiantly my favourite part. The siege tower itself is a bit eh but I didn't really have enough pieces to do a better model I think the rock and the crater-thing turned out nicely as well. I've had a blast this year on Goh and i've kind of only got you guys to blame for my increase in skill. I really appreciate the feed back you guys give me, so thanks for an amazing year and merry Christmas and have a happy new year. (Also happy Fifth Goh anniversary ) Hope you enjoy and C&C needed as always.
  25. Stunning build, the shape of the house is beautiful and really feels Mitgardian. I love all the ornate detail.
