  1. Wow, great build. At first I almost thought it was a castle but when I looked closer I was suprised. The armour is great and I love its face.
  2. Nice entry Henjin, great detail. Looks like some tough compition, but then again my dwarves are pretty good at bribing
  3. Thanks sk, legofin and legostone, Can't wait to post my new build on eurobricks. It's Mitgardia this time and alot of it was inspired by you sk.
  4. How is everyone finding the new layout? I think its a little bit confusing but better for me when I use my phone. Still trying to find my way around the place and why do some images not show up? Thanks
  5. @RBT I agree with Jacob Nion, I find the best techniques can be learnt from other builders. I find they can use more advanced techiques than lego sets do. Most of the techniques and styles I use now are all derpived from my inspirations and other builders. Hope you find this useful, can't wait for you to join a guild "cough" Avalonia "cough".
  6. I can give no clear answer for thot as I don't know how far away its goong to be, but I would guess around 1-2 months if we are lucky. I would say join now and get to know hoW things run then you'll be all set for book III.
  7. Great rock-work, it looks fabulous in this enviroment. Love those trees but unlike the others, the red and neon green river does not appeal to me. Great build, can't wait for more!
  8. Welcome Brynden, to the best guild in Historica (despite what others may say). LDD is fine and that back story is great. You do not have to claim land and it not unseen for someone to build on anothers land, just be sure to ask the person first. Can't wait to see your builds.
  9. Thanks Titus, im sure you'll love my next moc.
  10. A while ago I posted the first version of "fallen ruins". For those who are wondering how it turned out it has been redone and is now finished. Thank you to all those who gave advice, I tried to include as much as I could but don't be offended if it wasn't used. It was probably because of my lack of parts. I hereby present: Fallen ruins Fallen ruins by Jed cameron, on Flickr I am currently working on something large for Mitgardia so keep yours eyes peeled...
  11. Does your kitchon have to show all the aspects of making a pie? Or can certain things be ordered from around historica? Cant wait to finish my buil and see all the other entries :D
  12. Thanks for the quick answer, even though I won't need it for a while. Can't wait to build it.
  13. Totally off topic but does Avalonia have seasons? I've only really seen avalonian mocs set in summer vut I would like to build one in autumn/spring. Is that ok?
  14. Great to see you back legoeomer there are Minichallenges everywhere! Besides that everything has been pretty quite. There has been a steady intake of new members so expect to see some new faces. As Titus said there are some awesome builds up at the moment so you gotta go check those out.
  15. Thanks Jacob and Mpyromaxos, I will remeber this advice next time I build a burnt scene.
  16. Just in time Jacob! I have a new pland for the river And I might just have enough to cover the whole thing.
  17. You have out done your self titus, this is a massive step up from what you used to do. Can't wait for more mocs!!
  18. Stunning build titus. Truly amazing!
  19. This is an amazing first build from you. I love (along woth everyone else it seems) the mix of avalonian and mitgardian. Great design on both buildings and I think thats all I have to say here.
  20. Yeah, that would also work. I have searched high and low for substitutes but I never have enough of them :p
  21. As ive already said I love everything on this moc. It appears such a simple scene but the techniques you have used are amazing. I love the ground colours, the limes my favoirite.
  22. Thanks Garmadon for all your advice. I managed to find a few more studs for the river but ill never have enoigh to cover the whole thing :p as for every thing else I will try take it into account.
  23. Thanks titus, yeah It was a real strech of peices so its not as great as I wanted it to be. I guess thats just another reason to put more holes in it ;p
  24. Thanks Henjin, I really appreciate the feedback, I'll try take some of the colours out and give a more "ruined" feel to the tower in a little while.
  25. Just because your the last builder to join doesn't mean you can't give advice. Thats how you ge stuck into the community. I've only been here 3 months and I never hesitate to give advice if needed!
