  1. You guys, A PRINTED* VHS TAPE!!! *Maybe, might be just wishful thinking, but they usually print tiles that are supposed to be held by minifigs, right?
  2. According to BB his name is Danny Nedermeyer. The guy from Jurassic Park was Dennis Nedry. I mean, c'mon.
  3. More info and high-Rez pics on Brothers Brick: https://www.brothers-brick.com/2019/02/15/lego-jurassic-world-returns-with-four-new-sets-and-a-legend-of-isla-nublar-animated-mini-series-news/
  4. Wait, what the actual hell are these?! I mean, I hated Jurassic World and haven't even seen the shitty sequel, but these look... fun. The first second I looked at them I thought the're fan designs. So I'm guessing they'll either a company a LEGO Short/Special or a Jurassic World animated TV series. (EDIT: Apparently its a LEGO Mini-Series, more info and high res picks on Brothers Brick) Kinda disappointing they're not based on the first Jurassic Park, but they're still really well designed. Not a fan of the piss poor render job on the first two sets tho, hopefully these sets just weren't ready and this doesn't become a standard for pics going forward. EDIT: Also just noticed that the Dilophosaurus mold is new. The only movable part seems to be it's jaw.
  5. Hot damn! I never got into Bionicle, but I'd buy every set of this line for figures like this. GET IN ON THIS TLG!!!
  6. Seems plausible enough.
  7. Hot DAMN! That Ultra Dragon looks good. I love the brick build heads.
  8. This is a wishlist, so brick off.
  9. Well, here we are. My response to these comes a bit late, but I just had to take it it. The Monastery looks nice, but there doesn't seem to be much to it. And the Driller sets is perfectly fine. Aside from that, I'm disappointed. But not only in Ninjago, but in Star Wars and TLM2 too. These all just don't look that interesting to me. The Star Wars sets seem like fan-service (although it is nice to get DS Leia in a set for under 400 bucks) and TLM2 sets will separate the target audience (sorry for drifting off Ninjago a bit, but what's going on with LEGO? Or am I just getting to old for this stuff...).
  10. Leaked. And Giraffe Suit was confirmed by someone who works on the movie (I think).
  11. So according to an IG post, the sets will bring on more Classic Space, Doctor Who (they wanna get that 13th Doctor out there, and I'm all for it) and more Brick Headz ("Limited Distribution", possibly since it's been rumored they're shutting down the line). And a possibly a D2C Statue of Liberty playset.
  12. So we might finally have an answer on how these sets connect to the show. Instagram user "nexoknightsclayfan123" (ugh) posted something about 4 specials, one of them focusing on Kay, so the other three must be about Zane, Cole and Jay. Either these episodes tell stories from the time they still used these vehicles, or they're confronting the their past somehow. I just realized I might've read something like that in this thread before- please tell me if this is old news.
  13. Am I crazy or does it look like the figure in the tiny dragon set has three torsos/6 arms? Maybe just a prelim bug? And what's with that weird head-mold in the bike set? I don't recognize it. Also, it's neat to see them bring back the four golden weapons. Seems they're finally reusing the Dragon Sword: Image via Brickset And the new dragon hilt for the Nun-Chucks and maybe for the Scythe, but it's hard to make out (and while it makes the more accurate for the show, both would have the dragon facing the wrong way) Image via rebrickable Image via NinjagoWiki
  14. These are all pretty much what I expected- EXCEPT FOR THE MONASTERY WHICH IS DOPE AS F***! EDIT: Just noticed the huge figure in the Driller set- is that a Stone Warrior? The Overlord? I'm sorta mixed up on the lore. But that explains the price. Also kind disappointing that they decided to go with molds for the dragon heads, but that's the beauty of LEGO, we can always build them ourselves.
  15. Ah crap, yeah, it was released in April where I live. Sucked that we had to wait so long here, but at least I made it to opening day unspoiled.
  16. So I just found something interesting on amazon.de; I was filtered for sets sold by amazon and this appeared: https://www.amazon.de/LEGO-70828-Kinderspielzeug-Bunt/dp/B07FNWJ12T/ref=sr_1_11?m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&s=toys&ie=UTF8&qid=1541104478&sr=1-11&keywords=lego&refinements=p_6%3AA3JWKAKR8XB7XF%2Cp_36%3A-12500 It's for the set 70828 and according to information we've had for some time now (https://www.hothbricks.com/the-lego-movie-2-prix-publics-et-nombre-de-pieces-des-sets-prevus/) it's a LEGO Movie 2 set which includes 1014 pieces and retails for 99,99€. The amazon page was put up today and according to it the set releases on the... 27th December. Which seems about right. The sets for the first movie released late December before the first movie, although the movie released in April. So that's four months before the movie. And since the next movie releases in about four months and we would definitely know if they released before the end of November. Might seem late compared to last time, but this time four months of store-shelf-advertising probably aren't necessary EDIT: Well, these are the sets that were put on amazon today: https://www.amazon.de/s/ref=sr_pg_1?fst=as%3Aoff&rh=n%3A12950651%2Cn%3A360407031%2Ck%3Alego%2Cp_6%3AA3JWKAKR8XB7XF&sort=date-desc-rank&keywords=lego&ie=UTF8&qid=1541106204
  17. There was a new pic on instagram.
  18. I told ya'll the spinners are back.
  19. That guy is totally Emmet's brother, which means Finn has a brother as well. That sibling dynamic between his sister and brother and him is gonna be really interesting- I never really could build with my brother, or anyone for that matter. I was kind of a control freak.
  20. I don't like the headbands. They remind me of Ninja Turtles.
  21. Agreed, but still. It took TLG 17 years to get the Stormtrooper helmet just right between the different helmet castings used in the OT: (Image via SlashStar) (Image via FBTB) And now they gotta screw it up again. For me the important thing is the line between the goggles and the headband. It just looks wrong without it. It also appears to be very front "heavy" like the new Vader helmet.
  22. So the Bricktober set was supposed to be at Toys 'R Us again from friday, but I was extremely busy and I couldn't even find time to call. I just called at all of them and none of them have it or are expected to have it again anytime soon, but guess what- the other Bricktober sets are even stocked online. I am really, really upset right now- I haven't bought any of the new HP sets and all I wanted was an Umbridge so I could make a photo series out of it; "101 Ways to Kill Umbridge". And I really can't afford to spent 50 bucks on a couple of minifigures-. F**K SCALPERS.
