  1. Aw, this made me chuckle many times :) I love the Lego humour! My favourite part is the Calrissian guys, I suppose. And, of course, the moment mentioned above in spoiler tags.
  2. Thanks so much for the news! It's always great to get new Batman stuff, although it is a bit disappointing to get yet another Joker (although the steam bit sounds very intriguing to my steampunk side!) and another Riddler. Let's hope for new designs at least :) I'd love Batgirl and Nightwing, too. I suppose they would fit in anywhere. But I will, as always, buy all of them, regardless of which figs they put in :D
  3. Absolutely :D I'd love it!
  4. Has anyone cracked a Blocko joke already?
  5. Yup :) But I'll make sure I'll get my haul before the masses attack :D
  6. You'd better left a few for me, young man! :D I want my Yeti! *checks watch every minute and waits to clock off for the weekend* Where did you get them btw? The Lego store or anywhere else?
  7. Thank you so much for the review!! They do in fact wear them for any special occasion, not just Oktoberfest. It is a very popular festive outfit for all ages, being traditional and trendy at the same time (there are lots of renowned dirndl designers with their own labels and very expensive dresses). It's always very cute to see groups of women wearing dirndls in the city - same goes for men in lederhosen by the way! Actually you will hardly see people wearing the Bavarian outfit in the rest of the country (unless it is for fancy dress or Bavarian-themed parties). It is something very regional - might be nice to know when you haven't seen much of Germany yet.
  8. Yeah... that's Lego. Thanks for trying to squeeze some info out of them though :)
  9. Yays! As you said, it might become difficult on the way back... but that's then!!!
  10. Hey, I suppose so far the only car going from HH is the one stopping by from Munich. Unless you are planning to drive yourself! I don't know if I will be going on my own or if my other half will join us again. (He'll have to, it will be our anniversary weekend and is there anything cooler than celebrating your anniversary at the original Legoland? No there isn't! :D) In that case there will be two of us in need of a lift. *ramble*
  11. I remember taking the train from Esbjerg to Hamburg via Kolding about seven years ago... is that little train across the Danish/German border still going? I found it very charming :)
  12. Wooo, another car chase! (will keep waiting for the Penguin duck...) Definitely one to buy for the minifigs. Ah, who am I kidding, definitely one to buy. It's a Batman set :D
  13. Thanks for the info, GRogall!! I shall preorder mine soon :)
  14. If the release date is September, then it shouldn't be too long for the official pictures to be released anyway.
  15. Awesome :) You won't have to drive through the city, I live outside of Hamburg and close to the motorway to Denmark. Then you can all take a driving break at my place, too, before heading further north. Unfortunately it doesn't look good for a new contract in Munich for me after my traineeship. We'll see where the job hunt takes me... but honestly I hope it will be homewards. I'll keep you posted!
  16. Aaah, wish I could reserve a lift in the Rollimobile, too :D But I think I won't be in the south any more next year. Are you passing through Hamburg? :D
  17. I can't wait either!! :D It's going to be so much fun, fingers crossed it will all work out job/leave wise...
  18. Unbelievable! All the details are amazing, such a stunning work. I just visited the castle two days ago, so the memory is still fresh :D I really Iove the place, it's so quirky and yet such a masterpiece of engineering. I'd "instabuy" an official set!
  19. Fantastic job! I've always wanted this one to be released as an official set, but I doubt any official one would beat yours. And yes, flesh legs for Robin would be the cherry on the icing :D
  20. Yes, the shown three minifigures will be the ones in the book. :)
  21. Wha-, wait... oh, you meant that as a compliment. Thank you
  22. Yes. It's also translating, correcting, layouting, proof-reading and printing. We can't do magic :)
  23. Quick info for German fans: The German edition will be out in January, wonderfully translated and carefully edited. ;)
