Great work again. Always amazed how you got all your models capturing the essence of the original. The details are perfect again. One question though. You made the pantograph completely red. The collectors on the original seem more dark bluish grey/black. Or was that just for esthetics?

Huge train station MOC of 25.000 bricks
Man with a hat replied to AlmightyArjen's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Amazing! What a build. Everything is there. And those escalators are just one of the few great things to see. The video is superb too.- 43 replies

Good job on this massive beast! The cabin and nose look reallly good.It is quite long for a six wide. I have a few long 6 wide trains myself that somehow I feel I should rebuild in 7 (or even 8) wide to get the proportions looking better. How do you think about that?

Very nice! Good that you choose not to lift the boiler up as much as the original. Somehow it looks a bit odd. And amazing how many bright coloured locomotives there are.

Really glad I got a box. It was the most difficult one to sort. Löw was easy enough. Normally I feel the packages without any problems but now I needed to use it together with the bump codes for obvious reasons. In the end it worked out, but it was tough. Especially Kramer and Kruse seemed to have the same bump codes. There was only a very subtle difference. It is a nice set. A pity that the Germans have so many similar hair styles . And all player having a ball is a bit boring, but totally understandable. And maybe they are sold out now because they need to replace Marco Reus? (Why do I feel I know more German than Dutch football players at the moment? )

This is exceptional!. So many details. And the walschaerts valve is reallly well done. (A pity you had to use paint and Kragle, personally I wouldn't use it, but is a beauty nonetheless)

Wow. Wonderful. Fantastic detailing, including the cars. And it runs really smoothly, even over those bumps. (Nice bridge by the way)

[MOC] Modern city house next to monorail line
Man with a hat replied to polarstein's topic in LEGO Town
Very good job. Looks even more futuristic than modern. And a nice touch to have an "ugly" noise barrier next to the house. -
Oh, wow. What a way to get rid of the medium blue plates. Stunning work with all those details.

1940's Grand Central Terminal with canopy - Art Deco
Man with a hat replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Nice station. I like the old style look. Maybe a little less glass/window. It now has a bit of that over modernised old building look. You may also use 2 48x48 baseplates. It looks like they would fit. -
That train station looks really nice in bricks. Good job!

[MOC] The Greenville brewery company, est. 1927.
Man with a hat replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in LEGO Town
Wonderful. Looks absolutely perfect. Nice choice of colours. And the chimney is great. Great detailing all around, but especially the roof with the letters in it I find nice. And also those sliding doors. Too many things... -
Very nice. Stereotypical but well executed. The barn doors look nice.

MOC: First class lounge - Terminal 1 - Idlebrick Airport
Man with a hat replied to snaillad's topic in LEGO Town
O. Wow! This is perfect to the last detail. And I agree with ER0L that a (super) constellation would be the perfect background -
Great. Looks more like a hotel than a motel though. Which I actually prefer! Love the clock. Very ingenious. Overall it looks really nice. Good detailing on the roof, and also those brick "foundations". Really fitting.

Nice. Excellent work on the bogies. Overall it looks good. The shape of the front of the locomotive is very nicely done.

Wow. That's amazing. Instantly recognisable. I didn't need the photo's to see how accurate you made everything. (Even though I always just walk past that section of the Efteling). Incredible how you made all those curvy buildings.

Brilliant. Couldn't have been done better!
