  1. Thank you very much for informing TLG about that, copmike! Klaus-Dieter I have got a lot of wishes for sets which TLG should release. But since there are too many of them I only want to restrict to the for me most important ones: Western Train With Train Station Content: (very similar to Brick Miner's amazing Legoredo Station; perhaps with elements of the official set 3225 Classic Train, too) a train station (first floor: ticket desk and bank to wait, second floor: office or little apartment) with platform and a Western train consisting of: a large steam engine, a little tender, a passenger cab, an open freight waggon, a closed freight waggon and a little caboose including some cargo stuff, some boxes and barrels, some letters, some suitcases, gold pieces, tickets, bills and two horses minifigs: engineer, conductor, ticket seller, woman, man, train worker and two bandits Why this set? Every JFOL and AFOL likes trains very much. Since TLG regrettably missed a WW train in their amazing Western theme of the years 1996/97, this set would kill two birds with one stone: The "former" WW collectors (mainly AFOLs) would really like to extend their WW collection with an awesome train set. The other train fans (mainly JFOLs) would like it very much, too, since a train is always something very beautiful - and it would give them the chance to get introduced in the WW theme. The combination of the train with the station is in my eyes very important because on the one hand it increases the playability of this set a lot. On the other hand this set would be very expensive even without the station (~140 Euros) - so it would be better to have to pay about 30 Euros more but to have a station included, too, because: If someone is able to pay ~140 Euros, he/she is able to pay 170 Euros, too. More ideas are following in the next minutes and in the next weeks. Klaus-Dieter Wild West Scene Content: 1. Saloon (similar to Brick Miner's amazing Gunslingers Saloon or my Nicolas Saloon) a saloon in red and yellow colours consisting of two floors: first floor: room with swinging door, counter, rack, two-four seats and table second floor: balcony and room with bed, cupboard and commode including two barrels, a horse, some cups, some tumblers and a suitcase minifigs: saloon owner, cowboy and bandit 2. Post Office a post office in yellow and brown colours consisting of two floors: first floor: post office with desk and rack second floor: post man's apartment with a bed, a table with an oil lamp and a seat including some letters and packets minifis: post man and old man with top hat 3. Bank (similar to the bank in the official Gold City Junction) a bank in white, red and blue colours (similar to the one in the Legoredo Town set from the year 1996) consisting of only one floor: counter with safe including some gold pieces and some bills minifigs: banker and bandit 4. Watering Place a watering place consisting of: a big water barrel and two shrubs including a horse minifig: sheriff 5. Stage Coach (similar to The Brickster's amazing Wild West Stagecoach or Brick Miner's awesome Stagecoach Hold-up) a stage coach in red and yellow colours including two horses, some gold pieces, some suitcases, a box, a treasure box and some letters minifg: coachman and woman Why this set? Since 10184 Twon Plan is such a success, I think there is a good chance to release a set with more buildings and some minifigs and vehicles in the WW theme, too. The reasons for why I think that a set like this would be very succesful are very simiar to the reasons for why I'd like a Western train with station and think that it would sell very well, too: On the one hand there are again the "former" WW collectors who miss a stage coach, a post office and a saloon very much. They would really like to get these amazing vehicle/buildings. On the other hand there are the (mainly) JFOLs who didn't grow up with this theme. They would really like this set because it offers a lot of action and playability - and (here again) they could get introduced in the WW theme with this set. Klaus-Dieter
  2. Thank you very much for your nice comments, Athos and The Brickster! About the epaulettes: I'm not very happy with the brown color, too. Do you think that blue or dark red epaulettes (like in the older Pirates themes) would be better than the brown ones? Klaus-Dieter
  3. I totally agree with you, ImperialScouts! I'm just sad that he isn't here to share them with us, too . Like I said before (and I didn'T mean that as a joke): If TLG would engage you and Brick Miner then there would be totally amazing WW sets coming out! Klaus-Dieter
  4. I totally agree with you, Benny! That's very nice of TLG that they sell the DS for 300 Euros  ! Even though it's expensive enough that's much better ! Thank you very much, TLG! Klaus-Dieter
  5. Hello everybody! Here is my eighth part of my "Wild West minifig show": Soldiers on horseback These are four typical WW soldiers: a lieutenant, a sergeant and two common soldiers. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  6. Congratulations, ImperialShadows and KimT! I wish you a good, nice and interesting time with hopefully not too much bothersome and boring work so you can really enjoy shepherding our community! Klaus-Dieter
  7. Thank you very much for that hint, legomilk! BTW: Are Factory sets counted as "new theme(s)", too? I browsed through the catalogue from peeron.com and there are a list of sets which TLG released in 1999: -Star Wars => next year's 10th birthday which is official -Rock Raiders => I don't think that we'll get a theme similar to that -Adventures => very unlikely since there's already IJ -Ninja => although I would really it I think it's very unlikely -Space Port => might be - I really would like a comeback of these space port sets since they were (mainly the ones from 1995!) -Extreme Team => similar to Ferrari -RESQ => we already got the CG sets this year -City => we luckily have City A -Auquazone => very unlikely since there aren't sets this year -Insectoids => although I wouldn't like a theme like this one it might be possible since it'S very similar to fantasy space -Technic => we have -Bionicle => we have Summary: A new theme/Two new themes like Space Port and Insectoids (generally fantasy space) are in my opinion very likely - especially if TLG throws the "normal" Space Port theme together with a fantasy theme (which I personally would - but that wouldn't matter since I will spend all my little money on SW and City ). So there would be some space explorians who meet some violent aliens. And this again with some fantasy vehicles, a lot of action elements, bushwa - those elements which apparently have to be included in non-City sets in order to that kids like them . But ok . What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  8. I totally agree with you, BlueBard! The GovernorsMansion is the best set of all of them ! Klaus-Dieter
  9. Interesting topic, -Rho-! Thank you very much for that news, legomilk! City Like The Cobra I hope for and think there will be a new hospital and a post office . I hope so much for a new bank . And I hope for more buildings -especially shops -, too. Construction wouldn't interest me apart from if TLG releases something like a new sort of Public Works Center. And please more harbor sets ! Trains Since the least train theme was in my opinion really boring (only the two trains and this windy train station ) I hope we get this time more additional stuff like extra waggons, a modern engine shed with roller gates, a big train station with a lot of nice interior and a cargo loading station. And I hope for an exclusive train like an Eastern And Oriental Express or a Transibiric Train - that would be . Castle Bcause of TLG's fantasy area I don't care much about this "Castle" line. The only things I surely will get are a new advent calendar and - if there are - some good Impulse sets (the wizzard, the knight and the knight with the catapult this year are really nice ). 2 new themes Although I really would like to see a comeback of Western like Flatfoot Thompsen I fear that nexr year is too early to expect (if anyway some Factoy sets would be counted as a whole new theme ). I think that these two new themes will be a Space theme and Pirates (ok, I don't have problems with that although I probably won't buy a single set of this theme). Duplo I'm a bit - but really only a bit - too old for this theme ! Technic I'm not interested in this theme. Bionicle I'm not interested in this theme. Star Wars Since - apart from the Rebel Scout Speeder and the DS - this year is a very poor year concerning OT sets I hope TLG will release some great OT sets next year. I hope for the Tantive 4, Imperial Shuttle with Imperial Pilot, black suited Officer and a gangway opening in the front, Endor Bunker, Wampa's Cave and Hoth BPs with commander minfigs. Racers I'm not interested in this theme. Agents I'm not interested in this theme. Indiana Jones I'm not interested in this theme. Let's see what's going to happen . But if it's like last year we'll get the set names and numbers in the middle/end of July - so not much time to wait ! Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you for the pics, metalandi! This witch looks really cool - I'm looking forward to have it included in the advent calendar (since I won't buy the chess set for sure)! BTW: Does someone know something about the content of the advent calendar (despite from the minfigs we already know)? I am really amazed about why we don't get pics since it'll be released in Sept./Oct. (and bricklink hasn't it yet on its list ). Klaus-Dieter
  11. Thank you very much for your votes so far! I voted for Yes, I would like to see some Indians because I  the Indian sets very much. They were very lovely designed and included a lot of nice natural landscape . And they contained a lot of nice and different Indian minfigs with their nice printed horses and a lot of weapons . And I liked the canoes very much! I really wish and really hope that TLG will - after releasing some new cowboy sets (Saloon, Post Office, Stage Coach, Train, Train Station, ...) - bring them back! To the different polls: I don't have got all ideas at one moment . At some time I think of an idea for a poll/question and post it. And there is a long time when I don't have any ideas for polls/questions, too. So I create a poll whenever I have a (hopefully) good thought. To the "it's pretty obvious everyone want Indians": I don't think so. There are surely some people who wouldn't like Indians but getting more cowboys. You only have to look at how many Indian MOCs are/were built and how many cowboy MOCs are/were built. And: I think that Indians aren't that popular than cowboys. Klaus-Dieter
  12. When you look at this picture in the gallery you can see two little holes on the left side where Vader can throw down the emperor - because of space reasons some localities are at other places like in the movies . Klaus-Dieter
  13. Hello everybody! Here's again a new poll: Since I saw the Indians' feather in dark grey color on top of the gazebo of the 10185 Green Grocer I thought that some new Indians would be possible, too. So I thought it would be nice to know if we WW fans here on EB would like some new Indians or not. So please vote ! Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  14. Since TLG will probaby release a new hospital next year I browsed through BS and found that: In my opinion the/a new hospital should look like that! Two garages, the emergency ward and the entrance downstairs, a sickroom, an operating room and a room for the doctors an nurses to relax upstairs and another sickroom totally upstairs. I personally would prefer a hospital in size and price similar to this year's police office in order to get more rooms, more interior and equpment and much more minifigs ! What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  15. Hello everybody! I found some pics of some amazing new Wild West MOCs of Brick Miner on Brickshelf. It's really a pity that Brick Miner is no longer active here in our forum. So I decided that I show them to you: BoulderPassage IndianBraves LegoredoPostOffice Undertaker GovernorsMansion LegoredoCourthouse I hope Brick Miner will add some pics of the interiors soon, too! Aren't they totally awesome?! :oh:  ! I would so much like to see TLG releasing them! I mainly like the two civilian buildings , the undertaker :pir-skull: and the post office - that's what is really needed for a great WW town, too! It fascinates me every time when I see a new Western MOC of Brick Miner how perfectly he puts together increasing design, playability and action elements so that these sets (if they hopefully become real) would be consummate for JFOLs (mainly playability and action) and AFOLs (mainly design) ! Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thank you very much for the pics and the link, sam89! Shall this sticker show Yavin? But if so it's much too far down (it must be minimum in the eye hight of the minifigs)! Klaus-Dieter
  17. That's a set which would be  and which I really want, for which I'm waiting since many years and I really hope TLG releasing it soon ! BTW: What is a bacta tank? This would be a nice set - but TLG would never release only one little vehicle with so many minifigs . But in addition with a hopefully bigger and more detailed Mos Eisley Cantina this would be a great set I really would like to buy ! That are great ideas, commanderbly42! The Cloud Car is an idea I already posted before (but perhaps in the wishes for 2008 topic) - but with Lobot and a worker. The two Bespin Guards would be very cool but I don't think that Lando fits very well with the Cloud Car. He would fit better with a redesign of the Cloud City set (which we hopefully will get in the future, too - but with more and new minifigs (mainly these little creatures and the silvern C-3PO, more and bigger rooms and a big plexy glas window on top of the "city" - that would be  !) I mainly would like the TIE Hangar with an engineer ( ) and more DS Troopers ( ) - that would be :oh: ! You mean something like a big laser cannon or a little "service station"? That would be ok with me, too. The main thing is that we get little and cheap sets which include DS Troopers and Imperial Workers/Engineers (which TLG regrettably hasn't produced until now) ! I totally agree with you, Vaders_son! More big sets similar to the new DS or the "old" Cloud City (which was ) would be great ! E. g.: -Mos Eisley Cantina -Cloud City -Hoth Rebel Base ... Klaus-Dieter
  18. Since we'll get these great DS Troopers in the amazing 10188 DS set another idea for a BP since I (will) need much more of them than only two (and I think it would be really a pity if TLG only includes them in the DS because they are great minifig characters): Death Star Hangar Crew a little transport vehicle (similar to the one in the Imperial Inspection) including two barrels, two cargo boxes and a box with a detector in it (like in episode 4 when the Imperials look into the Millenium Falcon) minifigs: two DS Troopers and two Imperial Workers (the officers with the light grey uniforms and the light grey caps) This would give us the possibility to get a transport vehicle for the hangar in the DS, the possibility to collect some DS Troopers and the possibility to get some Imperial Workers ( )! What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  19. I don't know whether this has been already posted here but here is a link of pics of the DS which I found on FBTB. When you look at this picture it seems as if there is a little contorl room with windows into the hangar, too - that's ! And the big laser gun downstairs looks great, too . I only hope TLG will release a BP like an "Death Star Hangar Crew" or something similar to that which will include one/some DS Trooper(s) since two aren'T enough for my DS (plus they can be used everywhere (e. g. in an Endor Bunker). Klaus-Dieter
  20. Thank you very much for the pics and the link, metalandi! Like I've already said: The platform looks really good. And I think the price of 50 Euros is quite ok. Nevertheless I think I'll buy the Petrol Boat & Tower since it needs less space (I think) and includes a bigger ship. Klaus-Dieter
  21. I totally agree with you, darthperson8! Although I'd of course prefer a bank over a school I think that a school with a bus would be a set mainly JFOLs would really like . Klaus-Dieter
  22. That's an awesome MOC, Matija Grguric! I really  it because it looks totally realistic! I wish TLG would release something like that (of course not as big as this one but in a medium size) ! Do you have some pics of the interior, too, or did you only include there the seat with the stretcher and the glas table? Very, very well done! And welcome to EB, Matija Grguric! Klaus-Dieter
  23. I totally agree with you, Dr. Brick! As I mentioned some time ago, a mall would be totally awesome (but only if it is desgined not in CC style but similar to Town Plan) ! I totally agree wtih you, Freddie! As I mentioned some time ago, too, a bank would be absolutely necessary. And if it comes with one or some bank robber(s) it would be really amazing ! And a car chase would be brilliant, too! BTW: I wrote that with the smuggler boat - in my last post. Klaus-Dieter
  24. Thank you very much for that link, Christian! Thank you very much for that link, Mike! Thank you very much for the link, darthperson! Seeing more pics the DS becomes better and better ! The elevator and the trash compactor are very cool. And that conference room really rocks! Very nice to see TLG not only including action scenes ! The bay and the gate in the hangar makes it looking really realistic (although the window of the throne room disturbs a bit). I can't wait to see more pics - especially about the cell block which seems to be great, too! The only thing which disturby me a bit are that we won't get a new officer ( ) and that Palpatine has black gloves and C-3PO has fleesh hands ( ) - but I hope that TLG will correct these mistakes with the hands before releasing the DS. All these awesome details, the many rooms, the nice interior and the many functions - that's simply :oh: and  ! Although the price is in my opinion very, very high ( ), I think I'll buy it (even though I'll have to save all my money of the rest of the year and all my money I'll earn with my summer holiday work) - because it would really be a shame to do not buy it ! It's the best Star Wars set ever - and after Town Plan the best Lego set in general! BTW: Does anyone know/saw what is there included in the llowermost level (I only see some orange barrels)? Is that "thing" under the bay in the hangar an elevator for cargo stuff? Klaus-Dieter
  25. I tried this with some of my City minifigs. You can see them (perhaps - if the pics aren't too small) on the pics of "My Lego City" which I presented here on EB about 2-3 months ago - or you can view them in my BS gallery. (But don't look at the other Western minifigs I'm going to present you! - That would be !) I liked this combination. Klaus-Dieter
