  1. That's great that TLG wants to hear/read our proposals for future City sets! I surely will take the chance to write down my set proposals (even if some of the themes were already mentioned - but my precise set contens ideas are sometimes surely different). BTW: Do you want to receive every document in a separate e-mail or all documents in one e-mail, Copmike? (I think it'll be about five or six documents ) Klaus-Dieter
  2. I totally agree with you, Justin 2224! A Boba Fett minifigure with printing, antennae, and visor would surely look awesome! But I think that we surely will get one next year or in 2010 since TLG surely will rerelease the Slave 1 for the 10th anniversary (or the years after it) . Klaus-Dieter
  3. Interesting thought, Shacala - and not too far away from what would be possible! After I saw the new Mini-TIE Adv. in the new - now overpriced - 10188 DS, I thought that there might well be some new TIE Fighters next year since it's 10 years Lego SW and there surely will be a lot of re-designed sets. I personally like the "old" (?) designs very much. I only would buy a new design if this set then would come with new minfigs (e. g. Imperial Enginner(s)) and some more additional stuff (e. g. little transport vehicle) - otherwise not. Klaus-Dieter
  4. Thank you for that information, meschepers and thank you for that pic, Shoc! Since this torso is printed on its back then it's very unrealistic that it'll be a ne official Lego City minifigure since there haven't been minifigures with printed torso backs in the City theme until now, have there?! Klaus-Dieter
  5. Like I already mentioned it would take me all my money of the remain of this year (including my money which I earn for working in the summer holidays) - and a price rise of 33,3 % from one week to another is absolutely arrant! Will the DS then be 500 Euros at the end of July, 600 Euros in the middle of August, 700 Euros at the end of August, ...?! I'm really disappointed of TLG doing something like that becuase you there could really get the impression that they only want the money of their customers - the contentment and welfare of their customers is for them really minor matter - and I always thought that the contentment and welfare of their customers is for them minimum as important as making profit ! If TLG would have advance the price about til 30 Euros in November that would have been not nice - but ok. But this is really  ! Does TLG want to anger its customers - mainly the ones (me excluded) which have much money and want to buy all these Exclusives?! And for the customers which would have saved their whole money (me included) to buy it it's totally unfair and shortchanged  ! I hope that TLG will be so wise to low the price to its original price - otherwise I'll surely not buy it! Klaus-Dieter
  6. I think that this topic was there to say what we think we'll see next year - but please correct me if I'm not right. I totally agree with all of you that there has to be more civilian stuff because firstly only always police and fire gets very boring and secondly our Citys should grow, shouldn't they ?! But judging from which City sets TLG released in the last two (and mainly this) year they are on the right way! I think that it's obvious that we'll get next year: -hospital (hopefully as big as the new police HQ of this year) -some emergency vehicles (docotr's car, ambulance car) (Please no more rescue helicopter!) -post station -passenger train -cargo train A new airport might be possible, too, since the last one was released three years ago (like trains and hospital). Perhaps some more construction sets - but I really can't think of new ones. Yes, a new cargo center would be totally awesome - especially if it would come with rolling gates and an office like in the original set ! Klaus-Dieter
  7. Thank you very much for the link, metalandi! I regrettably have got problems with opening the document (like always with the instructions on S@H ) so I sadly can't see the instruction scans of the interior . Can anyone post a picture of the interior, please ? Klaus-Dieter
  8. There is a topic in the Pirates subforum where ImperialShadows posted a picutre of mixed minifigures from a Lego Store: Do you see this minifig behind the fireman? Do you think that this might be a new City minifig (e. g. for some new construction sets or a garage)? - That would be amazing since this minfig torso looks really nice ! Klaus-Dieter
  9. Please excuse me for that I forgot to add four more sets I really would like of the City theme, copmike : -hotel -some kind of factory and/or power plant -apartment houses (where should the minifigs live otherwise - and Playmobil sells its apartment houses very well) -ice cream parlor And as a new Lego City subtheme I'd like a comeback of Paradisa (which would perfectly go with the new amazing CG sets ): -beach hotel -club/cafe -strand -ice cream parlor -marina -summer cottages -coast guard watch place at the beach ... Apart from that this City subtheme would be a perfect addition to the Coast Guard theme it could be a chance to introduce girls in a non-Belville Lego theme, too . Klaus-Dieter
  10. Hello everybody! You surely noticed that there was a development from last year's CC styled buildings to this year's CC styled building. The Cafe Corner and the Market Street of the last year didn't/don't include any interior whereas the Green Grocer of this year includes some interior. So I thought: It might well be that TLG removes the backwalls of the CC styled buildings. So the CC styled buildings would then be large City sets with great architecture. In my opinion this would be perfect since that would open great possibilities for amazing City sets with awesome architecture - and since I hate backwalls and houses without interior. But how do you think about that assumption? How do you think that the future of CC styled buildings will look like? Do you think that and would you like that this style will make it into other themes, too (esp. Castle), or only stay a theme mixed together of City and Creator? Replies, ideas and comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  11. You should never compare your MOCs with some of these amazing MOCs shown on BS (and sometimes here on EB, too, since they sometimes are designed by some of our members) - otherwise you'll get crazy! Perhaps you want to take some ideas for the interior of this building and your amazing Store Strip of my Side Street? Klaus-Dieter
  12. Very interesting topic, G.L.MAN! The three sets I'd really like to buy as new sets (~ as a re-release/re-design ) since I regrettably don't own them are: -6399 Airport Shuttle -1490 LEGO Town Bank -6683 Hamburger Stand The third wish would actual be 6090 Royal Knight's Castle but I think that a re-design of it wouldn't be a good idea since firstly this set can't be made better (since it is perfect ) and secondly if you look at what TLG did as a "re-design" of it you can only . And btw: Welcome to EB, G.L.MAN! Klaus-Dieter
  13. That's a very nice MOC, Chris Weagel! I really like the colors, architecture and the flower box. It's a pity that you didn't include an interior since you let the backwalls open ( ). That could well be the house of the mayor I think . Well done! Klaus-Dieter
  14. That's a great MOC, Chris Weagel! I really  these little nice buildings! It's nice to see that you designed them in different styles and gave the left and the right one open backwalls . Their architecture is amazing and the interior of the left building is simple but very nice, too! But why didn't you include an interior in the right house, too, and why did you close the backwall of the house in the middle since the interior in the house on the left side is very nice?! I wish TLG would release something like that! A new Main Street with "historic" buildings, how amazing that would be! Very, very well done! BTW: I wanted to design one or some building similar to the CC styled buildings bit in the "classis" City layout (with open backwalls and with interior) in LDD, too. Now I haven't got enough time (learning for written tests ) but after having designed them in some weeks I'll show them, too . Klaus-Dieter
  15. Thank you very much, copmike! In order to that you don't get a cold if there are no more wishes after this set list heated you up here some more wishes (this time not with these exactly content and legitimation descriptions ) : I totally agree with you, jonwill! I exactly would like all these sets very much, too! Mainly shops ! More civilian houses, vehicles and minifigs are something TLG really should release! But the post officers should get yellow bikes like in the classic little post office! Since last year (with the cargo harbor and the container stacker) and this year (truck with forklift, post plane, post car, all the CG sets, the City Impulse sets and of course 10184 Town Plan ( )) Lego goes in the right direction not only releasing police and emergency sets. That's great! My further list of sets I want for City: -bank with security truck (large playability and action if some bandits would be included, too) -post office (necessary as addition to the post plane and the post car) -woman with blue bicycle -woman Impulse sets (there are nearly no women until now in the Lego City ) -kids Impulse sets (I think Lego is a toy for kids - so why are there no kids (despite from 10185 Green Grocer which isn't City)) -men Impulse sets -big station -cargo loading station -train level crossing for two trains -depot -modern engine shed with roller doors -passenger ship with dock (S@H, mainly for AFOLs of course) -yacht -fishing cutter with little harbor and little fish market -oil rig (since there is a CG platform why not an oil rig, too, to give the CG officers somebody to rescue in the wideness of the sea ) -oil harbor with tanker and oil tanker (ship) (perfect addition to the petrol station, the cargo theme and the harbor/sea theme) -little park with kiosk -toy shop/lego store (perfect ad for Lego and of course JFOLs would like it very much especially if it comes with minifig scaled printed Lego boxes ) ... For more precise set descriptions and more wishes please read Ideas for new City sets - the upper ones are only the most spectacular and wanted. Klaus-Dieter
  16. That's a great MOC, oo7! This really  this tea house because it looks so 10000000 % perfect! The house itself with its amazing architecture, the realistic minifig, the awesome interior, the nice little lake with the waterfall, the golden buddha statue and the lovely spatterdocks ! Simply perfect! Very, very well done!
  17. That is a great MOC, Majek! I really  those Roman minifigs you designed in my opinion very, very realisitc - only the torso of the Roman on the horse looks a bit (too castle-like). The backdrop looks really nice, too. Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  18. Hello everybody! Here's the ninth part of my "Wild West minifig show": Cowboys (and bandits?) These are some typical WW cowboys (and bandits?). The two printed torsos (the two minifigs on the right side wear) were designed by apache/tyger. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  19. That's a good idea but i already used it for the leader of Fort Legoredo in this part of my "Wild West minifig show". And the point is that I wanted to have three different ranks of officers apart from the official Lego WW soldier characters . Klaus-Dieter
  20. You mean this topic? These two themes surely will be some sort of Space theme and Pirates: Western was released in 1996/97 (or 1975-1977 if you want to count the very old theme) - consequently no big birthday. But I really hope and even think that TLG is going to release some WW sets in the next years in the Factory theme (read this). Klaus-Dieter
  21. Wampa's Cave Content: the Wampa's cave (built similar to Yoda's hutt) with entrance, a place for the Wampa to sit and eat on the one side and a rig to let Luke hanging down form the wall on the other side including Wampa, a Tauntaun, a skeletton, a little tent and some emergency equipment minifigs: Luke (Hoth style) and Han (Hoth style) Why this set? A lot of Star Wars fans (mainly AFOLs - I think - but perhaps even JFOLs, too) are looking forward to get Tauntauns, a Wampa and a Hoth styled Luke. Consequently many SW fans would really like to buy it. Since it shows one of the most eventful scenes of the Old Triology it would be a set with a lot of playability and lots of action - thus very interesting for JFOLs, too. Hoth Rebel Defendence Content: including a medium sized laser cannon and a snowy rock minifigs: Hoth Rebel Captain and three Hoth Rebel Troopers Hoth Imperial Attack Content: including a white speeder bike and a gun on a frame minifigs: Snowtrooper Captain and three Snowtroopers Why these two sets? BPs are sold very well. And SW Lego fans really like them. A lot of SW collectors (mainly AFOLs) but a lot of SW fans (mainly JFOLs), too, would really like to buy these sets in order to create the big Battle of Hoth. For me (and the most other SW fans, too) it's very important that a BP doesn't come with four times the same trooper. There has to be almost one "leader" (captain/sergeant/lieutenant/commander/...) of this little group of troopers in the BP to firstly make it possible to create a realistic battle (mainly important for the AFOLS) and to get/have an alternation of minifigs (mainly important for JFOLs but for AFOL of course, too). Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for your nice comments, Dwarvenlord and Tom_castlefan! On the one hand I don't agree with giving them red gloves. Because first of all I think it wouldn't like very nice (more like blood than like gloves ), secondly because I'm not sure wether they had red gloves and thirdly because I haven't seen dark red hands to buy until now (since they were - after my knowledge - not included in a single set until now). On the other hand I agree with you since I think that red epaulettes would look nice. Perhaps I'll try in some time to design the minifigs with them. Sorry, I can't help you , Tom_castlefan. dict.leo.org says epaulette, too. By the way: I know that it's a bit late but welcome to EB, Dwarvenlord and Tom_castlefan! Nice to see so many new members interested in Western! If you want to, there is a nice topic called Ideas for new sets (Wild West) where you can share your ideas and thoughts about possible Western sets with us and discuss about them. (And in the topic Ideas for new Classic Castle sets you can do the same - but with classic castle ideas/wishes/... ) Klaus-Dieter
  23. Interesting topic, cartoondude! I'd like molds for: -Tauntauns (Star Wars) -a Wampa (Star Wars) -Banthas (Star Wars) -more OT aliens and creatures, esp. in Jabba's Palace (Star Wars) -buffalos (Western/City) -more ship molds for yachts, passenger ships and more cargo ships (City/Pirates/Western) -more animal molds, esp. for cows, pics and other "common" animaly (City/Castle/Western/Pirates/...) Klaus-Dieter
