  1. Oh, I see now. Even without slight bend I think it looks better than the sticker. Is it possible to put a flat tile in dark azure to cover the lift arm holes or would the hose interfere?
  2. Nice clean design. I look forward to the video to see how it works! Looks like an XL for drive, M or actuator steering, and 2 M's for bucket movement?
  3. They either are not talented enough to incorporate what many people are describing or they are unwilling. I personally believe they intentionally leave room for improvement. Most of my TLG Technic sets on display have some kind of a modification applied.
  4. Finally got around to attaching both buwizz's to the buggy and here are my comments using tractor tires as shown in my photo above. I drove without the extra tire over the batteries. The steering angle while it may be accurate would actually benefit from much less travel. First reason is because it would be easier to control and the second is because at higher speeds it just vibrates/ hops as it understeers. If there was a way to control the steering with finer precision, it would likely not be an issue. A medium hit to the front and the pin holding the tie-rod would pop out. A medium to hard hit from the back and the cables attached to the buggy motors pop off. A hard hit to front and the bottom frame comes unattached at the two cross pins. Both side panels come off often, however; I did not apply your fix yet. It was a lot of fun to drive, but with only rear wheel drive, it struggled in loose type terrain. Thanks again for an awesome buggy and upgrade!
  5. @Ron1 having recently built @agrof class one buggy and upgraded to buggy motors with @kbalage mod which dramatically increased the speed I would like to post the following comments and or suggestions. Using one Buwizz I was able to choose the two slider option but using two buwizz I was forced to use a different profile which allowed two buwizz's. Setting up the two buwizz's was not that straight forward and took some time to work. Both buwizz's had the exact same name, so it was a trial and error process to figure out which was which. Also switching between the screens required a swipe which was not very straight forward. It sometimes required multiple attempts to start because it said the connection was lost even though I had just set them up. This happened just setting up one buwizz as well. I had to go back into setup and find the buwizz again and try to start again. I bought the buwizz from the kickstarter campaign and I have been very critical of the lack of software support which resulted in little use and frustration. I am very happy to see the support for multiple buwizz's and finally a light switch option! (I know these were added awhile ago). Overall, I would say I was very happy with current state and any additional fixes and software updates (as long as they don't create issues) are very welcome. I have mentioned this in another thread, but have you considered a remote control which directly connects to buwizz without the need of a phone? I noticed it is not very easy to control fast vehicle using a flat phone. I am sure many people would love that additional option!
  6. I would be interested in seeing both options. I really like your torsion bar on the Aston.
  7. Has anyone tried to just switch the friction pin with tan pin?
  8. IMO you need to break down by category. For instance RC or manual is not really comparable. Esthetics is also a personal preference which may or may not matter to you. Having built well over a dozen supercars including some mentioned above my personal favourite overall is @DugaldIC Aston Martin Vantage GT3 which excels in many areas. There are other great builders out there which haven't been mentioned and some builders who are exceptional in certain areas. You need to find what appeals to you the most and start with that.
  9. That sucks. Sorry to hear that. Can you buy from a neighbor country?
  10. Thanks for your input Dugald. Do you believe the front suspension is a geometry issue or is two hard springs / side not enough?
  11. It's odd that the dark azure looks more like medium azure in that picture
  12. Oh, I missed the part about "other than H or V" Maybe to control something which is at an angle like a boom? as the boom raises and lowers, you rotate the dial to match so the direction of extending and retracting are the same.
  13. When you want to steer, I would prefer horizontal vs vertical button placement and vice versa for FWD and REV motion. Unless you meant specifically for trains.
  14. Sariel didn't mention wrong gear sequence in his review but he did mention 16 gears which I assume means they 8FWD and 8REV + a Rev with selector in cabin.
  15. excellent price in Canada @$399.99 considering the exchange rate.
  16. 41999 used five including the lights and six if including the polarity switch.
  17. Very limited battery pack options with only two connections which are not stackable.
  18. I mean a Lego built U-joint integrated into the wheel and chassis. I have never made one, so I might be way wrong for implementing something like this?
  19. I know you said you were done, but with all this talk about broken U-joints, have you considered making an integrated U joint which is strong?
  20. Does anyone know US and Canadian pricing yet?
  21. I guess those are better than the ones on 10019 which always break.
