  1. The post showing the wheels have been removed but I am certain the Powerpuller wheels were wider (deeper) but smaller in Diameter than the Porsche wheel.
  2. Yes, I have seen and paid high prices for pieces for the MOC's I wanted to build. If the price is too high and not worth it for the MOC, then I don't build it. You asked what we thought, so that is my opinion. The only non-lego piece I have ever considered is Sbrick.
  3. Several pages back someone showed the rims compared to the PP wheels and the Porsche wheels are larger in Diameter.
  4. I personally would never do this. I either pay up or move on.
  5. I recall you mentioning there was a serious issue. Since it needs to bought online, I can always return it if it is a deal breaker. I likely won't get the set for a week after I order it anyways.
  6. That's a step up from super to Ultimate.
  7. Having built this now, I just realized that I didn't use the rare 7L black axles... Did I miss something in the instructions?
  8. I agree, it is an amazing looking model when complete. I would also like to have a set of pdf so I don't need to rely on mocplans and have it in my own records.
  9. I actually left the part out because the frame was very solid on both sides so there was no way to bend things like in other areas. It would have required too many things to be removed to be installed, or too many things last night.....
  10. How on earth can the blue pin on page 151, step 115, sub step 1 be inserted into the main frame????
  11. With its limitations and flaws, I hardly feel it is rubbish.
  12. Just leaves room for people to improve on what has been done. Who knows, maybe TLG intentionally don't make a perfect model.
  13. Then it is on the wrong side of the car.
  14. I am not a fan of Mocplans either but I don't find it horrible. Sometimes it flips a page when I am panning but it isn't the end of the world. I would prefer a pdf download for future reference. I only have an hour or two each night to work on the model so it is taking me a bit of time to get through it but I will say it is looking good! I prefer these type of instructions over photo sequence building instructions but I have noticed many steps done in an odd order. For instance, a sub assembly is installed, then partially needs to be taken apart to install the next sub assembly. I appreciate people taking the time to make instructions for these amazing models, so this is in no way a complaint, more of an observation. All the other MOC's I have built never had so many instances of this happening. Also people should be mindful of some small errors which can effect the workings of the model and look. On page 58 substep 6, the 1x2 LBG liftarm should be a bushing otherwise you can't upshift. One page 117 substep 12 the ribbed hoses should be 9L.
  15. Not sure if I did something wrong or had a few too many beers last night while building, but the steering assembly was unclear and a nightmare to get into place.
  16. Why do you hope they will send out damaged boxes? I hope my box comes in perfect condition.
  17. I thought the statement said June 1st availability from S@H online only and Lego stores in Germany and Austria.
  18. Hey, just curious if there is any update on this? I have all the pieces to build your original F40 but am holding off until I see this one finished.
  19. If current production is not important, here are a few off the top of my head. 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 Ford GT40 Ferrari 250 GTO Ferrari Testarossa Lamborghini Countach Lamborghini Diablo Ferrari F40 Dodge Viper GTS-R Pagani Zonda
  20. This looks like it is a lot of fun to drive! Instructions would be awesome!
  21. So the white is the x71 Rubber Belt Small (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 2 x 2 but I am still not sure about the blue one. Is it the x37 Rubber Belt Medium (Round Cross Section) - Approx. 3 x 3? I didn't have time to look at the function of the blue band but I saw it was installed spanning the distance of a 1x3 lift arm and connecting to two ball joints. So just not sure if it should be a small as well.
