Here is a good bit of trivia. What one component is used on the Na nb and nc. And yes the current generation is the nd which goes very well but my na is a scream to drive. @Jundis the bum is to big and the a pillar needs to go back. Serial has a very good scaler that would give you an idea of proportions

I'm more of a NA series (first generation with pop up headlights) but a NC is a cool car with the hard retracting roof. Be nice to see this finished

The funny thing is with the Harley Davidson 10269 is a lot of non lego Harley people purchased and built the set that I know of, or where busy send me links and pictures as they know I like and collect lego.. ( well if you on this site admit it you have a lego problem. ) It will appeal to people who likes motorbikes but can't afford the real thing and really don't want a piddle metal cast model.. as to the promotional shots its like watching HSV fans roll up to race day all kitted out to look good when they are driving a Holden Barina

Laughs oh I admit my mistakes. First time back on the bike in two years still with a bung arm and hip. I know stupid but here is a YouTube of the track and I'm out in the session . You can play spot the corner..

I have to say that's a lot of hard work and time and very well done. That is what is called a triple in aussie. -
I love how you build a left side different from the right and then I guess you compare which is better. I owned a 944 s2 which I raced was a great car.

Very nice Mr @1980SomethingSpaceGuy a lovely classic being ridden with gusto and passion. Normally I'd be knee down in that corner but had a moment the corner before and was well off line headed for the ripple strip..

Well I have changed the hood and fiddled with a few other parts, then broken the LDD into rebrickable to ensure the BOM and colours are correct and correct the LDD a few times for the record the stripes can be done in red or orange , you could even colour coordinate the rims as well. The sub assembly's broken out I have a multi colour LDD of how it goes together.. not the most technical of builds

I initially was going to do a 43.2 MOC that I'm still on the fence playing with but I couldn't get the shape I wanted but after seeing all these great MOC's Id like to give it a go. I still feel that its just a box on wheels though it has been quite a learning curve, just optimising the LDD now after building. 15 pieces have been replaced with 5. It's still going to be a high 800's piece MOC. I think a number of professional's could or certainly trim more parts..

@zux as reqested. Mack truck tires. 49.5's 43.2's yes if you rescaled the wheel arches to look less like you could slide a pregnant elephant between the wheel and the arch it probably would look better as the 49.5's tend to fill the arch... I can have a look later today with the physical model.. had a look it would be a half stud offset not impossible but a lot of work.. !@#$'s and giggles 37's with lowered arches..

@zux ironically 78 mack factory valueliner stripes and yes I have seen a hilux in this paint scheme before That's a COE your more likely to see a Ford econo line with a rear engine done as a show ute. -
Well I have sorted my gearbox issue, and its doing what I want. the frame has had another rebuild as this is going to be played with by a five year old and I want a frame that doesn't bend. I would if lego designers have FEA software to check or just use the good old fashion twist test and keep removing bits until something moves.. Any Mr technic Man made an appearance for a test fit for a bucket seat and steering setup.. This is with the small wheels on the front and large on the back, as you can run them as deep dish steels, with a bit of stance..( rake for technical terms ) The spare serves two purposes, one it covers a hole and a axle pin of the gearbox and two its the hand of god steering but also lets the winch in and out on the front..

[TC18] Wrong pickup

Roadkill brought a repu mazda that had a oldsmobile 455 in the tray. It's not a uncommon thing a number of show trucks / utes in the states did the same thing. -

Well I have given up in the shed tonight as its getting way to cold for my liking ( its not snowing here but certainly down country as its blowing a cold wind of MT Ruapau tonight ) and since I have setup shop in what is my storage bay under one of the mezzanine floor there certainly is no heating nor insulation.. ( the shed is 150meters floor area and tall as I can park the k100 inside.) Any on with project mule I have certainly changed a lot from the LDD internally but the external finish as in the above rendering will be the same except for colour unless I can find parts. however Im going to have to put my thinking cap on on how to a gearbox as I might have painted myself into a corner with heights...
