    Looks good. Day 1 buy for me, and it looks like Europe will get the London Bus promo in October as well, so that will be a nice freebie.

    Yeah those blocky edges look really old now. (I can't believe I'm complaining about blocky edges given what Lego is! Haha)

    The thing I'm disappointed about is that they had the chance to do something new and the took (imo) the easy way out and just updated the old set. I'm not a fan of the play set style, so it's doubtful I'll get this. I can understand the price increase, that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Just look at how prices have gone up over the years. E.g 6212 X-wing was £50, and now the resistance X-wing is £80. Saying that, I was very grateful they brought out a new UCS x-wing, and I live in hope of a new falcon!

    I didn't buy the old one although did help build one, but on that description, I doubt I'll get this one. I'll wait for pictures though before deciding.

    I think the AT-ST is the only one I'll pick up, as it will do as a replacement/upgrade for 7657 which I have and looks dated now.

Earlier on I was thinking it could be a sphere that hinges open to reveal an inside, but I'm not sure how stable this would be once it's open. I will wait patiently.

    The Disney castle has been leaked so we're just waiting on the DS now. If it's anything like the quality of Big Ben or the castle, then I will be very happy!

    This. After the disaster that was Hoth, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pushed back to make sure it's right. Edit: just had an email to say some of my VIP points expire in December, so let's hope it's here before then!

    Yeah I modded my 6211. I did keep all the bits in a separate bag, but I totally changed the bridge section, and lost track, so if I ever sold it, I'd have to rebuild from scratch. More fun for me though! I didn't touch the interior as it rarely gets looked at, just the outside.

    The code just unlocks some pictures. They were posted a few pages back. Pretty underwhelming in my opinion. Edit: I'm on my phone so it's a bit hard to tell, but try about 5/6 pages back. Date was June 1st. Don't want to quote with the images.

    Thanks for the review Jim. I was on the fence about this given the price, but I'll pick it up only if it's discounted (and hopefully fixed) further down the line. Looks like it's unavailable at the UK s@h anyway.

    I'm on the fence on whether to get it day one, or wait to see if other retailers will discount it further down the line. I got £50 off the arocs the other day, which makes the Porsche look very expensive.

    I normally just hang around the Star Wars forum, but this moc is incredible. It never ceases to amaze me what people can create with Lego.

    Looks good. There's a tank thing at 1:05 with different stormies on it.

    I'm an OT fan, so I'm heavily biased, but the shuttle is the one to go for. As said above, it looks better in flight mode, so try and create a stand for it.

    I think it's supposed to be based on the Nima outpost one. He's the only one I've seen with a backpack. He has the 3 white bits (ammo clips?) on the front, like the heavy gunners, but I think Lego's print is just off. Yeah there are troopers with white pauldrons and ones with red/orange pauldrons (I'm colour blind) , which would have looked better in my opinion.
