There's better pictures of the new snowspeeder pilot on an auction on eBay. You don't get a good look at the arm printing but you can see it's there. Nice detail on the torso and legs (same as recent ones). Helmet printing looks a bit out of line. No pics of the set though. not sure if I'm allowed to post them, so just search.

If the list is nonsense then why post it again? It only adds to the confusion.

I like it, and will definitely pick it up. Let's hope we get a better May 4th promo than last year to go with it. Seems to be a lot of stickers though, unless they are printed which I doubt.

Why would they use the same double sided head on both figures? (Which is the same as Dak's recent figure)

Looks a lot like Anio's version (and poorly photoshopped!). I've been looking at the scout trooper and speeder bike again. There's a flick-fire missile at the front, but the image in the bottom right looks as though you hold it like a gun and fire it that way.

The speeder (with scout trooper) looks great and will pick up the bounty hunter set.

There's no press at the toy fair so I doubt we'll get any news. Wait for Nuremberg....

Agreed. I'll happily buy a snow speeder. As an OT fan, I've not really picked up any sets in the last couple of years apart from the sandcrawler, so this and hopefully a falcon will make me very happy!

I'm surprised there was no minimum spend in US for the promo. Got my UK order yesterday (don't get me started on the quality of Yodel's courier service). However, I also got a free Spider-Man jumper poly bag, so that was a nice surprise.

Shame that even on shop@home they haven't listed what the protocol droid is in the calendar.

I think we've only got ourselves to blame for that. The new set number was listed on brickset ages ago, and since then we've built up the hype, and started speculating what it might be. I do agree that it's a waste of a UCS slot and that they shouldn't have given it a new set number. I've picked up two SW sets this year. UCS Slave 1, and the escape pod (got cheap). Not great for OT fans like me. I look forward to what can only be a better year next year.

I finished building the UCS slave 1 yesterday, but the windshield doesn't connect very well. There a gap between that and the base (at the top if displayed vertically). Is that normal?
