I'm guessing the TIE Advanced prototype will be similar to the one in the Yoda Chronicles. Bit of an odd choice though, rather than the one we all know.
-
In general I'd say it's probably not worth it, unless you manage to pick up some sets extremely cheaply. I've got a couple of spare sets which I got fairly cheap. One of those sets has had a remake since and is a better design. So my spare sets will probably go to my nieces or nephew in a few years time.

Regarding the falcon - I think we'll get a new one. There's a new one in the Yoda Chronicles, which has featured lots of new sets. I expect to see a new vader's TIE at some point as well.

Brickset has pictures of the new Wookie Gunship from sdcc.
-
This is an old picture of mine. It's since had an extra row inserted and the height of the rows decreased. It fits a specific space in my shelving unit. I'm going to have to create another one and I've got more minifigs to display now. Edit: found a newer pic.

Bought and built the new Cantina (75072) at the weekend. Nice set, but unfortunately I was missing a Bith musician's head. Have filled in a request on-line to get another though. The new minifgs are great, although I think I prefer the old Greedo.

The picture above is part of a larger picture which was of a lego studio showing a display case with various sets in it. It's quite an old picture so I doubt the new slave 1 will be the same as that. Edit: beaten to it

Well UCS sets have changed over the years, and now come with minfigs (ewok village, sandcrawler etc). So I wouldn't be surprised to see at least 1 or 2 minifigs included. It doesn't need any more than that though.
-
What's the picture? Not showing for me?
-
The new AT-AT looks like a sturdier build to my 8129. Maybe I can just buy some extra bits and re-design mine.
-
What were the prices Robianco?
-
That's a lot quicker than I had thought (and quicker than my wallet and hoped). Best wave in years for me. Some really nice minifigs as well (B-wing pilots etc). No local shop to me, so will have to hope I can get them on-line soon.
-
I think it's a very nice set, but I won't be getting it. It's too expensive for what is essentially a big brown box, but if money and space were of no consequence then it would be a nice set to have. Display space is my biggest problem right now.

Just ordered the UCS X-Wing with the 15% discount. First purchase in a long time. Still not sure where I'm going to display it!
-
The UK event has started and it looks like it's 15% of all Star Wars sets. Now I need to decide whether to get the UCS x-wing or not... Edit: it's most sets that have a discount (60 out of 82)
-
Well if the slave 1 rumour is true, that squashes the falcon rumour. Maybe next year (hopefully)
-
The link on the Dutch site has a different model number compared to the picture, so maybe there are two versions? I think it's likely to be £100-120 for the sandcrawler we have seen a picture of. Assuming it comes with a bit more than we can see.

We're hardly on topic but... They won't re-release the UCS falcon, but you can bet they'll redesign it. They've tested the water with the x-wing, and have probably sold enough to justify releasing redesigns of other previous models. The AT-AT is proof that people keep buying the models. I'd welcome a new falcon, even though I don't have the space for it. Will probably get the x-wing in the May 4th promo this year, unless the new UCS is amazing.
-
Quite disappointed with the May 4th figure, but it's not often you get something free in life (apart from every year with Lego!). Was going to get the new X-wing anyway but I'll probably just sell this fig
-
Ooh, I like the new x-wing, and I'll definately get it. I'll probably just remove R2 if it looks odd. I'm glad they've re-released it, as it makes it more affordable to those who missed it first time round.
-
It was going to be a Lego-free year for me with the sets released so far, but a UCS X-wing would get my money. Looking forward to it.
-
NRG is often right, so I'll believe the rumour of a new ewok village. It will have to be good for me to get it though, would much rather have a UCS x-wing

Help finishing off my minifig collection!
will replied to shinobisgreenshinpads's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I was about to recommend a bricklink seller I used in Belgium but the store is closed at the moment. I used it to pick up a few figs that I needed to finish off my collection. Good luck finishing it off. Greedo was the last piece of my collection -
I'm happy with the list - it means I won't be spending any money on Lego next year! I will wait for pics though.....

Just thought I'd share my new OT minifig display. It's not by any means a complete collection but a selection of the more well known characters. There's a still a few I'd like (Jawa, Greedo etc) but I'm running out of space to display my collection and was limited to the size of the this display, so I've just included single variations of characters (apart from two Lukes). I had to leave a few characters out as well. Oh, and I blatantly copied the design from wokajablocka's display case, so thanks for the inspiration.
