I've got two 9492 Tie Fighters so they can flank Vader's fighter. However, one is still boxed, as I don't have enough space (for any more Lego). At least the skiff is fairly cheap. Get one and keep it boxed until you know what you're doing, and you can always sell it if needs be.

That's pretty sweet! Only thing I would say is that the back looks a bit square, and the t-bars in the engines aren't in the middle. However I'm no expert, and it's way better than I could make, so good work!

I'd like to see some more Jawas and Tusken Raiders (mainly because I'd like to add some to my collection). Not sure what sets they'd go in though.

I assume this is the same one I saw on fbtb? Really like it, and I'm sure many people would like to make it.

I really like it, but the main body looks a bit "fat". I'm no expert on scale, so ignore me, but that's my opinion. Still way better than I could ever do though!

These look excellent. I looked at doing an R2-Q5, but didn't think I could get the gold pieces required. Which lights are you using? I got one of the artifex kits the other day, but I've had real trouble getting them to fit properly.

The new summer sets are now available in the uk from Lego.

I might have to get one of this kits for my R2. It's not very clear how easy it is to turn on/off though.

I'd say mine would be close to 1k, but I don't have a wife! Still got (sealed) 2 x chrome darth's, 1 x tc-14, and 2 x shirtless darth mauls. Most expensive set is my new 10225. I paid quite a lot for a 6211 though.

I'd rather have had a second minifig than a poster. If anyone wants my poster (uk) I'll happily send it on for free (if that's allowed?)

Got my poster, tc-14 and mini tie, but having to wait til UCS R2 comes back in stock. Bit wierd seeing as I ordered fairly early into the promo, and it's already out of stock!

I've had an email saying that R2 is out of stock and there will be a delay sending it out. A bit disappointing but hopefully it won't take too long.

Ordered my R2-D2 with no problems. Email confirmation took a while to come through.

Unfortunately you can't have everything in life, and you'll always miss out on things. People who buy sets early on always take the risk that they could wait a while and then pay less when a retailer has a sale on. Most fans will know about the annual promotion, so may not buy a few sets in preparation for it. I've only bought the new Tie fighter this wave, but I'll be getting the new R2-D2. I was going to pre-order it, but seeing as I'll get a free promo fig if I wait a few days, it's a simple decision. They're also doing a promo for a Hulk minifig, but I have no interest in that so will leave that for those fans. I've no issue with the promo or how it's done. It's a bonus at the end of the day, and a good way for them to attract people to the store and website to discover all the new themes and sets, which may generate more sales for them. The more they sell te longer they can keep the licences going and making new sets....

I think they've done a good job on it, and this will become my first UCS set. It could also be my last as I've got no room left for any more models!

So, we're now into March, so when can we expect to see Artoo? (given the act he's supposed to be out this month) I'm talking proper pics and not the video ones we've seen

How big do you think the r2-d2 will be? 2127 pieces. As tall as the AT-AT? Can't believe there's been no pics yet considering it's meant to be out next month.

Amazon UK has got the X-wing for £43 at the moment. The price seems to go up and down every few days but that's the lowest I've seen it. Just waiting for the TIE to come down a bit in price....

I've got a brand new 6212 which I'm debating whether to keep hold of or get rid sooner rather than later. I want the new tie fighter, although I've got no room to display any more!

For the UK people - Asda are selling the character encyclopaedia for £5. My local were re-building the book section but they had a but if A4 paper with the £5 Xmas deals on, and it was on that. Will go back tomorrow to get a copy.

Hence the word "like". Something similar but a bit smaller would be my guess/wish. I'm looking forward to the R2 more than the B-wing
