  1. Considering your title... care to join? Yes, let's look at the airstrip and any other outbuildings, then switch time, perhaps?
  2. Oh yeah, someone just got themselves a new title.
  3. Which just makes it easier to flip you into the barrel. Doofus.
  4. Since you're facing the barrel and leaning over it, it's unlikely you could make that kick. I could, on the other hand, tell you where I could put this johnson rod.
  5. Yep, there are only a small range of really visible colours. I've been known to do EB News in all bold to make it more visible, but wouldn't recommend that for normal posting. Is this better? A little. Well, I'd go darker, but then it would look like you. I know. Ah, the voices, so many happy voices in my head. He's losing it again. Did he ever have it? Good question...
  6. I'd like to casually shove Charlie in the barrel as he reaches for the cassette. I'd then like to laugh.
  7. The green is fine, pretty much all the darker colours are. I've been known to write in 5 or 6 colours if the parrots start talking, or Aluvar, or Staudie, or any of the other crazy people who exist in my mind. I thought Staudie was real. I'm not sure sometimes. He's pretty hard to believe. Be nice, Bluervo. Um... nevermind.
  8. And as the sun sets behind the gleaming security wall of the base, Commander Blazer and Admiral Blaire look into each others eyes and think, "what a bunch of idiots." Day 8 has ended. Get in your night actions, Day 9 will start as soon as you've done so.
  9. I have. They smell exactly like all playing cards to me, that heavenly plastic coating smell. Have you ever noticed this smell on normal playing cards, say a pack of Hoyle or even the cards that come in a board game? If it isn't that smell, then something is wrong, otherwise it's perfectly normal and should go away if you lay them out for a while.
  10. Thanks for sharing that, Wobo Ihi. Right, and that's what he's sharing, and some of them are pretty impressive. So let's use this thread to keep all of these kinds of discoveries in one place.
  11. Simple. They could be a thinly disguised reincarnation of the Forestmen. Who wouldn't want these in dark green and reddish brown? Then we could hope for some production tests in red or white, too!
  12. I always cringe when I see mention of custom clones because they usually look like something made with markers after drinking too much whiskey. Thank you for dispelling that horrible image with this incredible job. Smooth, clean, detailed, it's a winner.
  13. I'm still proud of the lame jokes in this one, especially Staudie.
  14. You've bumped this enough. Put it in your sig and it'll follow you wherever you post. Ok?
  15. Noooo, two two! Two two twain! We hab bloken two two! That was odd.
  16. Sadly, we have not one but two broken two two's.
  17. We call that a tile, sideways. I won't even ask where you got 2/58ths, it's giving me a headache thinking about it.
  18. I would have to agree that this is the switch configuration and suggest we head there after finishing up here. Isn't there a broken plane we could fix? Come on, we've got all kinds of rods by now...
  19. Let's check the undersides of the drawers and desk itself for anything taped or engraved there and if that fails, move the desk and look for a trap door. "What was that, Brakes? ... Noooo, I don't see a chandelier in here, but we'll look up from the X to make sure nothing is up there."
  20. I'm happy. I like seeing these top out around $150 and it's a lot of building for that price. The framework is there, it'll take some adjustment and modification to make it great, but it won't be hard to do. Great job, TLG!

  22. Great job, I especially appreciate all of the little details and the step by step explanation. So much so that you've been blogged.
  23. If you check your recent posts, you'll find it's still there, just merged into the other one. Like this one will be. And no, they don't make 1x3 tiles. If he said plates, it was a mistake.
  24. I'm in. Where's Herman? I'm starting to miss the goof. He must be in the toilet or something. I also miss food. Real food not from Schmelty's pants.
  25. Star Wars is a character driven theme, so it's only natural to expect them, especially as the prices increase with no increase in parts count. Therefore, judging a set often comes down to the number and type of figures included. A new figure counts for a lot more than one we've had 10 times before and opens up a new world of possibilities for building with the actual bricks. Since the 70's, it's really been all about the minifig. That house, car, or spaceship you build is for them, and they have to be taken into consideration during the building process. Bricks are fine, but unless you're a sculptural builder, you need the other parts to go with them, and for me, that's minifigs and accessories. In Star Wars, it's all about creating ships or places from the various movies and cartoons. What is Cloud City without Boba Fett or Lando? Is Hoth really anything more than an ice cube without Luke, Han, and some Taun Tauns? Dagobah? It's Yoda and nothing more. Would you build a Sandcrawler if you didn't have Jawas and droids? It seems perfectly natural to me.
