Galactic Paranoia ~ Day 10 ~ It's Still Rock and Roll to Me Commander Blazer, Admiral Blaire and the remaining members of the team file into the darkened conference room, unable to completely see each other, but realising that they are a few members short this morning. Commander Blazer: "It looks like it was a quiet night with no deaths at all." Admiral Blaire: "Shame the morning wasn't quite so good, we were just notified of an incident that occured not more than 10 minutes ago. See for yourselves." Figure 2 (off camera): "Hey, wait up!" Figure 1: "Oh, hey." Figure 2: "We need to talk, but I'm being followed." Figure 3: "Morning, guys. What are you two doing, plotting to take over the galaxy?" Figure 2: "Oh, um, no, nothing like that." Figure 1: "I've got to go. I mean, we need to get to the meeting." Figure 3: "Right, let's go, I think this might be the day we finally crush Black Sun!" Figure 2: "Do any of you feel a rumbling?" Figure 1: "Yeah, probably just a ship landing in the hangar or something." Figure 2: "It's getting really strong!" *crunch* Figure 3: "Did you say something?" *double crunch* Admiral Blaire: "Good thing I hadn't had breakfast yet." Commander Blazer: "Given the timing of these killings, it might take us a few hours to determine their loyalties." Just then, a ghost appears in the form of Widanko Fenk. Widanko Fenk: "BOO!" Admiral Blaire: "That was so scary. Oooh. I am scared. Scary Jedi ghost." Widanko Fenk: "Oh, shut up. I'm here to help." Commander Blazer: "Excellent, can you tell us the alignment of the dead?" Widanko Fenk: "I certainly can! Pvt. Al Iztad was, sadly, a Black Sun Operative. I know that he wasn't one before, so he must have been converted. Pvt. Brand was also one, but he had always been bad. Looks like someone did a good job, except Dayton Stern was loyal, so it wasn't a perfect night. Oh, and Hinkelina, with the luscious buns and *ahem*, you know... well, she was loyal as well." Commander Blazer: "So there you have it, we're getting somewhere and there is still hope for our survival, you just need to find the last traitors." Widanko Fenk: "Did I say I was done?" Commander Blazer: "Er... no. Sorry." Widanko Fenk: "What I actually came here for was to tell you that things are not as they seem. While there are still two traitors left, one of those is a double traitor." Commander Blazer: "A double agent?" Widanko Fenk: "Did I say double agent? NO! A double traitor. He has betrayed peace, and he is betraying Black Sun. He needs to be found, he's going to keep killing you until you do, and if he should succeed, no one will survive but him." Commander Blazer: "Sithspit!" Widanko Fenk: "Did I say I was done?" Commander Blazer: "There's more?" Widanko Fenk: "No, I'm done." Admiral Blaire: "Find those traitors! DISMISSED!" Dyslexia now causes a lack of punctuation? Agreed. I think that's an excellent idea, thanks for suggesting it. There are a dozen seperate gripe threads about every issue under the sun on a site where we're supposed to love the brick, not tear it down. It's one thing to suggest that something is a problem, it's another to just bitch bitch bitch, and frankly, we've got enough places you can do that without one more pointless thread rehashing the same old crap. CLOSED. I love tradition. I knew I should have refreshed before coming back to reply in this tab.

Sometimes, in LEGO forums, people are too damn lazy to punctuate. DRIVES ME CRAZY! I think people like that should be banned. Don't you (see how that works?)

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 9B

Bring some stuff back and we'll play a game after dinner. -
For leg removal, see Hinckley's Guide to Tightening Loose Joints. There's a lot you can do with Fabuland figures. Just be nice to him or else.

I saw this thread title and thought ... what an odd question after this long, and who cares? Then I saw that they're calling the current ones by the same name as the old one and understood. Someone needs to do a ... vs ... comparison sometime. Personally, I have a few of the old one and one of the new ones, though I'm not sure which one. I wouldn't mind trading for all of them at some point, as I doubt I'll buy all the sets.
-
They aren't. Eurobricks does not endorse that group, or their use of our name or graphics. Anyone can start a flickr and say it's connected to anything, whether it is or not, and in this case the only thing it has in common is some members, but that could be said for a lot of sites.

I'm terrible at faces, absolutely terrible! I could probably take existing ones and use them to create new combinations, but completely from scratch just isn't happening, it would be horrible.

Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 9B

Sisters, perhaps. It's hard to estimate the age of LEGO people. Don't worry, you've still got plenty of time to kill someone. -

Yeah yeah, I've been glued to my group since we got in this town, like the rest of the passengers. The crazy townsfolk, however ... It was in the desk, not the safe. Secret compartment. Still, the door to the office was locked, but how hard would that be to get around, the room had windows. Hmmm... -
Welcome to the LEGO Action Forum!

Yay! Seriously, we appreciate that you appreciate it, we really wanted some of the neglected themes to have a better place to belong where they wouldn't be lost under mounds of other things that weren't related. Enjoy! -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Chapter 9B
Shadows replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Excellent! Since we know the gun is the one I now carry, from searching the other office, the killer clearly has access to that office, and the murder took place before we found the gun. It seems incredibly unlikely that she was killed while we were aboard the train, unless we had a stowaway who then fled after sabotaging us and hid his gun in the office. I imagine a killer would keep their gun if they expected further trouble, and stopping us seems to guarantee that. SO! In my estimation, the killer and the saboteur are different people and the dead woman was neither of those! Ok, duh, clearly it wasn't suicide, but I'm just saying she didn't sabotage us, if she's Jennifer. If she's Miss Thornton, however, she could have sabotaged us in an attempt to get our help in rescuing Jennifer, who I believe is her daughter. It's just a shame she didn't simply ask us directly. I know people. People with guns. People who would have turned this town into the kind of Swiss cheese that would have been on the sandwich of the conductor of the Croc. Schmelt: "Actually, Swiss cheese isn't Swiss at all, but ..." Oh shut up. -
Clearly a set centered around some great parts and amazing minifigs. A winner in my book, especially after finding out that these doofuses are included: So, what's the story on that last pic, are you trying to tell us something?

How did I miss this part? I just happen to have seen all of the Father Brown BBC presentations be an ordained minister as well, though I would prefer to hear the big voice in the sky confirming that she's dead before we feel her up and give her the bums rush. Oh, what the hell... er... you know what I mean. FRIENDS! I come before you today, not to mourn the dead, but to celebrate THE LIVING! CAN I GET AN AMEN? YES, I will repeat it again. I am not here to mourn the dead, for it is with their death that comes ETERNAL LIFE! OH YES! CAN I GET ANOTHER AMEN? Aside from her previous X work, I'm not all that familiar with the corpse beloved, so I can't really say much more. Pete? How about you come up and say something since you seem to know her. *pulls out the gun from the office while wondering if it could be the murder weapon, since it's also missing a bullet...* Uh, Pete. I mean NOW. What do you know? Don't make me whip out my hellfire and brimstone. -

Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a fashion writer... You do get points for obscure references, however. -

EVERYONE STEP BACK, I'M A DOCTOR! I watch lots of doctor shows... *rushes up the ladder and over to the body, checking for a pulse, I discover ...* What do I discover, Alex? -
Before the world of the smiley became muddled by 1000 different faces, it was simply the hair that determined male or female, and there were plenty of female characters. There used to be female cops, doctors, there was a princess who was also a knight, 4 in space, a couple of female ninja princesses, a female Rock Raider, 3 or 4 in Adventurers, several in Agents, all of Paradisa. All the licensed themes have had them as appropriate, HP, SW, Batman had Cat Woman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (villains are never helpless victims). I suspect we'd have seen Batgirl eventually. SW has had 8 including Princess Leia, Padme/Amidala, Mon Mothma, all strong leader types (honestly, SW isn't full of women)... oh hell, here's a list courtesy of Sandy. It is balanced? No. But they have been out there.

Vintage Minifig V3 contains a BLUECOAT!
Shadows replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in LEGO Pirates
These haven't been widely available for a while? I've had mine for weeks now but never thought to take a pic. Here's a really crappy quick one showing the bluecoat being interviewed by that dorky EB News guy and his new Brick Forge microphone. You'll notice that he's absolutely identical to the originals, unlike the poor Classic Space men who seem to change a little each time and have the wrong helmets. His hat is crooked, too. Not the bluecoat's... mine. -
New Legoland Park to open in Florida
Shadows replied to k_peek_2000's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Don't get your hopes up too far. If you read that full page, you'll realise it was just one option in a single survey from quite a while back, and nothing has happened on it since. The last story I heard had them putting one in the middle of Kansas or somewhere equally odd. As much as I've love to see a LEGOLAND within driving distance, I just don't see it happening in this economy.
