Had a quick count and including the new villains we’ll get in series 3 there are a further 10 villians you could add to this display piece. Ursula, Queen of Hearts, Evil Queen, Jafar, Hook, Hades, Syndrome, Facilier, Prince John and Ernesto. I may only add the ones that have buildable objects already present. Hoping we get the Sultan in the small Agrabah Palace set.

Wow I went to sleep early Sunday morning maybe 1am and BOOM wake up to huge Disney news 😁 Disney Duos .. great, but not for me, apart from maybe Lumiere and Cogsworth .. so these are the rumoured buildable ones we’ve heard about ? Clever part usage. Some of the animal designs don’t translate well to me due to their small size. The Villains Icons set. I’m torn over this one, I think I’ll get it for the minifigures although Jafar should have had the genie ears, ( that’s lazy Lego ) and I would rather have had Lady Tremaine than Maleficent, but hey ho. One thing that I don’t get is that the objects ( apart from the poisoned apple and pocket watch ) aren’t really villainous icons, There are a couple of story books, a VHS tape ?? Ursula’s nautilus shell should have been there. The pocket watch features silhouettes of Peter Pan and the Darling children, I read a comment that this is meant to represent he pocket watch that Tik-Tok the crocodile swallows, but in Peter Pan in the scene where he chases Hook we see that it’s quite a large alarm clock that Tik-Tok has actually swallowed. Last thoughts are that I’ll probably get this ( although not a day one for me ) as the minifigures from this set will hold their value for quite some time, thought of bricklinking them, but they’re gonna be expensive. Lastly with the Evil Queen being in the CMF, Snow White supposedly coming in the new Castle and the Old Hag in this set that IF the Cottage is coming next year it’s not gonna be the animated version, it’ll be based on the live action version and we’re not gonna see minifigures of the animated drawls .. although I hope I’m wrong. EDIT .. just remembered, one thing I don’t like is that I wish they’d stop putting Disney .. like Disney The Little Mermaid … Disney Sleeping Beauty .. Disney Aladdin .. I grew up with them being Walt Disney’s The Little Mermaid .. Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs .. Walt Disney’s Cinderella. Then they dropped the Walt from everything, Then they dropped the apostrophe, it looks wrong to me. These are Disney’s films. It’s not the be all and end all .. just a bug bear for me.

More rumour over on Insta .. Disney Castle Minifigures supposedly around 12 .. may include Snow White and her Prince, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Aurora and Philip and Tiana and Naveen .. hopefully Aurora may be in her blue dress.

AshnFlash has a youtube video up of the official reveal of the 3 little mermaid sets coming May 1st .. the back of the huge clam is just horrible 🙄

Lego website is strange how it has a set coming June 1st up as coming soon .. yet the little mermaid set coming May 1st still isn’t there ??? 😳

Set 43221 officially revealed over on Instagram .. sort of like a mosaic squares art piece with a different Disney character in each of the 9 squares. @priceyplasticproduct on Instagram has some nice close up images of the minifigures from The Little Mermaid Clam set, taken from a box find in a Target store I’m guessing. The prints on them are pretty nice. Wish they’d have given Triton the new mermaid tail too, that old one is too blocky for me .. oh well 🙄

Saw a post on a Lego page on Facebook I’m on .. someone had the Little Mermaid set in hand from a Target .. they wouldn’t sell it to them .. they had a clear picture of the back .. this set is starting to grow on me .. I saw the latest trailer today .. when you see longer clips rather than just 2 or 3 second bursts it seems like it’s gonna be good.🤞🏼

Granted that we dont know the purpose the the huge white clam shell this set seems to be based around, but it’s bulky and off putting, I mean c’mon Triton is the ruler of Atlantica would he really live in an old clam shell .. I think not ! He had a PALACE ! It was beautiful ( well apart from the VHS cover 😂 ) but yeah if I get this one ( and it’s a huge IF ) it’ll be from somewhere that has it on sale. I also wondered if those clear ‘posing pieces’ introduced with the DC Super Heroes CMF ( and others ) could have been used more effectively to pose the fish and Flounder and the 2 sisters rather than those horrible looking trans clear bars they have them on 🙄

Wow I totally didn't expect Lego to go this way with this set. My initial reaction was a huge pass. It's from the new film ( and I literally don't care who is playing who ) but this isn't classic Disney to me. The large clam shell looks bulky and a bit of a mess, the set seems very all over the place. I saw on another image the 5 minifigures included .. five ?? FIVE .. are you having a laugh Lego. Also in the minifigure lineup because the mermaids all use 'tall' tails it makes Ursula look like she's small !! Clearer images will help me decide and I'll wait until a double VIP event for this one .. and even then it's a maybe ! There are some that will love this though .. we're all different :)

There are some stunning entries. I’ve only today seen Treebeard by the Brick Bang .. I’ve seen lots of Ent MOC’s .. but this one is stunning, very natural looking whilst obviously the character, great scale and some very ingenious parts usage .. I don’t envy Lego trying to pick a contest winner from these. 😳🌳

Just trawling Instagram and saw a post from a while ago about the rumoured Ariel’s Palace .. noticed the release date is May 1st .. only three weeks away .. hopefully we’ll see something soon ??

@stroud1492 notice how Sebastian is now just a regular crab accessory recoloured red ? 😂 I can’t see Flounder anywhere .. I don't like micro dolls in the slightest, but it’s cool for those that do I guess .. just need a leak of The Little Mermaid Triton’s Palace now and praying it’s not minidolls 🙏🏼

If the minifigure with the Agrabah Palace is Prince Ali do you think they’ll use the mould of Jafar’s hat piece just recolour it ?

@Killian .. re the seven dwarfs having those micro bodies .. don’t even think that lol .. they need to be minifigures .. short legs or teen legs, but none of this microdoll stuff 😂😱

@DisneyLego and @hikouki .. I stayed away from the Ice Castle for a good few months after initial release .. used to look at it in the Lego store and eventually it was on sale at Smyths ( a toy store here in the UK ) I already had a spare Elsa and Anna from series 2 so I took the plunge. BUT there was a 360° turnaround video on the Lego website that seemed to show the light blue pearl pieces as being a darker shade, which I preferred. So I turned all those pieces dark blue and I love how it altered the look. The minifigures look great in the set, Olaf minidoll works well with them too. I’d say go for it 😁👍🏼

I know I’m already setting myself up for disappointment here, but Im hoping they don't make Cinderella blonde and dressed in blue, medium nougat is much closer to her original animated movie colour hair. Ahh well 🙄 I echo all the opinions on minidolls, the only reason I bought the Ice Castle was that I knew I already had spares of Elsa and Anna in minifigure form for this very reason .. the only exception I’ve made is with Olaf .. he fits in with them surprisingly well.

As much as us Disney fans know the Beast’s Castle and it is beautiful .. I’m not sure it’s iconic enough in general terms. It would also feature only a few minifigures, Belle, Beast ( possibly in both forms ) Gaston, LeFou, Maurice. I don’t think Lego ( also don’t think Disney would allow it ) wouldn’t mix characters from different movies into that particular set. I think it’ll be a park castle .. all we gotta do now is wait for a leak or two 😁

@hikouki .. not to my knowledge .. at least not classic animation wise .. I just had a wild thought .. imagine if they make Snow White’s cottage and the minifigures are Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs .. then there’s a free GWP of the Old Hag polybag or if she’s already in the set then Prince Charming. 😁

@Yoggington .. you echoed my thoughts exactly .. much as I love it .. ‘officially’ designed it would be different. I started gathering a lot of the pieces with the intention of purchasing the instruction and building it .. then the Rivendell set leaked so I held off in case they might ever release an official set 😳

@Rwbricks .. ahhh that’s great .. thank you .. the German version gives a much better look at the actual figures. I think I prefer the “off with their heads” face.

@Rwbricks .. I went to have a look at the Queen of Heart’s alternate face, but at 13:37 he’s holding Baymax .. I watched the part where he’s holding the Queen of Hearts, I can tell there is an alternate face, but you don’t see it fully ? Can you help please ? Thanks 😁

@Clone OPatra nice to see them in more detail. I like that Pinocchio has a separate hat although it’s pretty iconic to the character so not sure where else it could be used. One tiny thing about the review was that I wish he would hold the minifigures still or have them on a little stand viewed close up .. some bits were sending me dizzy 😁 Thanks for the info though as soon as I saw it I was straight off to watch 👍🏼
