Me too .. the set was practically perfect as it was .. I’ve seen people comment on other platforms that the amount of figures needed would be too many .. even if they maxed out with Snow White, all the dwarfs, the old hag, the queen and the prince .. that would only be 11 .. could be trimmed down to 8 minimum .. they have all the moulds needed .. as long as they didn’t go the minidoll route ( it needed to stay with minifigs for me ) c’mon they made all new moulds for Winnie the Pooh .. I hate to think it, but I feel it’s something slightly political due the the rigmarole regarding the live action version and Peter Dinklage’s comments, although many of the community do not necessarily share his views. Disney’s first full length animated feature deserved to be celebrated and celebrated with this set .. shame on you Lego 😕

I’ve thought about this too .. only my opinion but in the CMF’s the characters with moulded heads tend to non human .. Mickey, Donald etc .. but human ish characters tend to be regular minifigs .. Ariel, Maleficent etc .. so I would hope they’d make the dwarfs exactly as they are in the creators design .. apart from one .. Dopey .. he definitely needs his ears .. made like the elf hats but with proper Dopey ears .. they were such a huge part of his character seeing as he didn’t talk. I’m also thinking they couldn’t make the set and only include a couple of them .. the only thing I can think of there is that I’m sure someone else designed a Diamond mine set so perhaps some Dwarfs could be included in this and the others in the cottage set 😁

I’m hoping that the Snow White Cottage needing further review does not mean that they’re gonna replace the minifigures that Hanwasyellowfirst intended there to be included with minidolls .. please Lego don’t ruin it by doing this. Also it’s the 85th anniversary next year wonder if that might be anything to do with it ? Not that it would come out next year .. I’m glad it wasn’t a no this time .. but it’ll be a day one purchase for me if it goes ahead

No you’re not alone in this 😕 when you compare it side by side with the Mickey’s we already have I prefer the others .. the new ones eyes are too big, don’t like the eyebrows .. yeah .. kinda creepy 😳

I bought all the Fantastic Beasts sets hoping they’d expand on them .. sadly wasn't to be ( at the moment ) but the Zouwu would have been an amazing set .. there’s a Ninjago set 71746 Jungle Dragon which gave me Zouwu vibes 🙂

also @jonwil they took a punt doing a huge set with minidolls .. reverse the roles and do a Princess set with minifigures 😂😂 ( we can but hope lol )

@Lyichir .. some good points .. and yeah I’d never thought about how in the movie very little time is actually spent there. I was early for work yesterday and called in to my local Lego store to take a look at the set .. I was just so underwhelmed .. yeah it’s cool .. but just .. I can’t put my finger on it! I left without it. It probably didn’t help that they had it displayed in one of those cubes that A, wasn’t tall enough so the tallest spore was bent down and B you can’t see the back of the castle. I might wait for some YouTube review videos and it may yet grow on me. I’m hoping that if Lego green light the Snow White Cottage that’s currently in the review phase that they don’t turn the minifigures that the creator made into minidolls.

Slightly over thinking this I know .. but I wonder if the fact that Lego seem to be testing the inclusion of minidolls in such a huge set has affected the design of the palace .. I think they could have gone bigger and more elaborate and included Marshmallow and possibly Hans and a couple of guards .. had they been minifigures the set could have been bigger, would obviously cost more, it’s almost as if it’s a junior D2C if that makes sense ? Like .. we’ll test out including minidolls, but don’t go overboard with the palace just in case it flops ??

Just a question .. I’m kinda liking the castle .. hate the minidolls ( but that’s just personal preference.. I know there are people that love them ! ) my question is .. in the picture of the castle the trans blue part all seem light blue .. in the short video of the 360 degree turn around all those parts seem very dark blue ?? I prefer the dark, but I’m thinking I’m gonna be disappointed. Anyone else see what I’m thinking ? Thanks 😁

I’ve seen a couple of Instagram posts that suggest the Ice Palace will be revealed and up for pre order tomorrow .. still reserving full judgment until I’ve seen the official pictures 🤞🏼

I’m hoping so .. this is the second time it’s been up for review though .. and this time there are 57 ( I think .. or is that Heinz ? anyway .. ) the creator of the cottage made improvements .. took out the wishing well .. it’s perfect as it is .. ticks so many boxes .. iconic .. Disney’s first feature length film .. great play set because as Snow White herself says .. it’s just like a dolls house .. and NO that doesn’t mean it warrants minidolls .. c’mon Lego .. do the right thing this time 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Erm ok .. so it’s not bad .. too much white .. will wait for a better image .. first impression is it’s now a total pass from me .. but that’s just my thought .. ok Lego I’ll happily let you make it up to us minifigure fans by realising the Snow White Cottage that’s up for consideration in the current review will sell like hot cakes as long as you give us minifigures and not the ghastly minidolls .. thank you 😂😂

I wonder how this will affect the sales .. my interest has already dipped on hearing this news / rumour. I get that some people love their minidolls, but I’m a minifigure guy. We do have Anna and Elsa in minifigure form that we could use, but dependant on what other characters they introduce with this set the only way to get them would be customisation. Hopefully some set images may appear soon 🤞🏼

@Brikkyy13 yeah the bathrooms are missing Joey’s is the door with the tennis racket in front of it and Monica’s is behind the fridge .. seems as though Lego have just done the main apartment rooms .. but like you I’m still loving the set overall 😁

Only going off the rumours really .. I see what you mean about the one in the link you shared .. and again the price of the supposed D2C I’m not sure would cost the same ? Hopefully something ( if anything ) will leak soon 🙂

You’re right .. it does say Luna .. zooming right in it’s only a small 4 character first name .. and Penelope would look much longer ,, so I think as you say it’s confirmed that it’ll be Luna

I seem to remember to one of the very first, if not the first Diagon Alley reveal ( and of course I might be wrong here ) was from a Lego store employee .. the pictures had backgrounds that resembled a stock room or back room in a store rather than someone’s home. I remember thinking Lego did a pretty good job of keeping it under wraps for as long as they did 👍🏼

I got my Vidiyo Candy Mermaid minifigure a couple of days ago .. on seeing this figure ‘in the flesh’ so to speak I realise how well the tail piece would lend itself to the merpeople from the lake .. it makes the figure taller than regular ones and it’s hardly the usual mermaid fin shape like Ariel. Here’s hoping they use it eventually 👍🏼
