Remembered today I’d noticed a few comments ( not all on here ) that Lego seemed to have 2 of the Hobbits’ hair switched .. but when you google the 4 of them stood together seems to be pretty spot on .. or as close as Lego colours will allow 😁

It’s not a bad call, but Diana’s tiara is gold whereas Arwen’s is silver .. Rowena Ravenclaw has a silver tiara, but the face print doesn’t quite work for me 👍🏼

If they do eventually go with Minas Tirith and Lothlorien I’m most looking forward to new Galadriel and Arwen in the pale green dress .. and of course another 2 huge sets 😁😂

I had started buying parts to make LegoMocLoc’s Lothlorien.. but it may have to wait now .. I think with Lego having done Rivendell they may wait a while and produce others before the other main Elf home. On the Rivendell set .. I notice a lot of people wondering about lining up the roof tiles. I’m betting ( or hoping ) that Lego have included some trick to lining them up, like inserting a long tile into what becomes the gap, you added the 1x1’s and then remove the tile ?? Have to wait and see I guess. 😁

Bessa shared the news that Lego is releasing sets for Disney’s 100 years of wonder, he’s one of the designers involved, however he’s not the lead designer of all of them. Loving the way that the new Elrond and Gandalf can ‘sit down’ in the new Rivendell set, gives me a nice idea on how a Cinderella minifigure could sit in the carriage on the way to the ball 😁

With the noise the ring made in that teaser video as it hit the floor ( a loud thud rather than a light ching ) I’d say it might be a close call 😂😂

Promobricks on Instagram have shared a reel of Bilbo and his “scary face’ moment .. another lego related page ( pricyplasticproduct ) suggests old Bilbo minifigure will feature this face, dual sided I’m guessing 😁

The Ideas cottage was, I have to admit, more pleasing on the eye ( to me anyway ) the newer leaked cottage seems too high, they got rid of the far right window and I’m not overly keen on the dark colour of the roof, it’s meant to be a thatched cottage, the first ideas roof was medium nougat, the second was dark yellow, the leaked one comes across more wood like to me. I do like the newer trees, but miss the foliage of the original that was around the doorway. I know it’s a preliminary image and many things ( especially the dwarves … please give Dopey his iconic ears Lego !! ) are subject to change. @THELEGOBATMAN there was a side build in the very first submission of the wishing well, but it was omitted in the resubmission. I also think someone people confuse this one and the actual wishing well .. the wishing well was at the castle where Snow White was the scullery maid, I’m thinking this one at the dwarves cottage is literally just where they draw their water from.

@JeanGreyForever .. thank you for all that info .. definitely some interesting stuff to read about there. Fingers crossed on the Snow White and Maleficent Transformation for me 😁

@Huigberts Builds .. there’s hope I suppose .. it’s getting very close now .. we definitely need some leaks or official info ! 😂 @hikouki I share your sentiments about some of the minifigures complimenting the other sets rather than actually fitting in. As you say if there’s a Snow White set ( and it’s a big if ) I imagine it would most certainly feature the old hag, which if a collector wanted to only display the minifigures, the Queen from the CMF would fit in perfectly. @JeanGreyForever I like the idea of yours regarding Aurora, blue dress in a set and pink dress in the CMF .. very nice 👍🏼 and not entirely lego connected, but it made me smile to see that image you posted with the correct colour for Cinderella’s dress 😁

,Does anyone follow The Minifigure Store on Facebook ? The other day they put a picture up saying they had been to the London 2023 toy fair. In the comments someone asked if they had seen any of the Disney 100 stuff. Their reply was that they had and it’s looking to be an amazing line up. None of the CMF minifigures were on display. Same person asked if there were any surprises that haven’t been mentioned before ? Response - Yes, some we weren’t expecting, even after seeing their order forms. They stated they wished they could share more info and obviously will do so when they can. The rooms set out for viewing were only sets due to be released in the second half on this year. interesting 🤔

I keep harping on about this ( albeit to myself lol ) I’ve seen a few people mentioning there’s no Snow White minifigure, we have a Brickheadz coming and now there’s the Evil Queen in the CMF rumour list. Snow White is the first feature film princess, and in one of the VHS trailers for the film the audio describes the film as “The one that started it all”. I never understood the reasoning behind why Lego Ideas said no to the Snow White Cottage .. TWICE !! But perhaps we weren’t meant to ? What if it wasn’t Lego who said no .. what if it was Disney that said “we love it .. but we want you to release it as part of the 100 year celebration” ?? I know there are all sorts of suggested reasons, and some pertaining to the upcoming live action version. I’m hoping it might happen.

I’m completely surprised that no characters from Encanto made this series. Unless it was finalised before Encanto became popular. Danny Breton on Instagram did a minifigure series based on the characters and they’re just perfect. A couple of these, or at least perhaps Mirabel would have been most welcome.

Fans mentioning Cruella’s car .. I always thought the Arctic Roller from the Batman theme bore a striking resemblance .. just need parts in different colours and a few alterations ??

FOR REAL ??? I seriously hope this happens, I wonder if this is why they said no the the brilliant ideas submission .. TWICE !! I find it a little strange that Snow White or Cinderella aren’t in this list .. unless that means they’re coming in sets. So the most category we’ll have minifigures of ( across all three series ) will be the villains ? That’s kinda cool. 😁😁

Apologies if it’s been mentioned, but IF lego do with Rivendell what they did with the Hogwarts ‘sections’ that make up the whole school eventually then I’m in .. if the D2C is a microscale build I’ll probably just source the minifigures as I did with the house founders.

@PGBQW @BrickBob Studpants .. i see where you’re coming from now .. yeah the sleeves of the dress are very sheer fabric, I imagine if it is the Blue Fairy Lego might have done away with the sleeves completely as there’s no real way of doing it justice, hoping it’s not Tinkerbell as we already have her .. I’m eager for some more details now as we all are 😁👍🏼

@PGBQW no rain here friend ☔️ .. google Disney’s original Blue Fairy from the animated Pinocchio she’s flesh toned as is the minifigure in the teaser image .. not blue .. so as I’m not holding out much hope that it will definitely be her, my initial thought is right, she ‘could’ still be her 👍🏼

I’m hoping that the promo teaser might be The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio ( original animated version ) I know Tinkerbell had a wand in the Disney Castle set ( and yeah this was based on the parks ) but in the movie she never carried a wand. The Blue Fairy would look great with the dress slope and a new pair of large translucent wings. The song from Pinocchio “When you wish upon a star” seems very fitting for the theme too 🙏🏼😁

It’s a long shot, but I’ve just noticed a seller on facebook ( a well known seller so all her stuff is legit ) selling some of the new BAM minifigures and there’s a hair piece that would be perfect for Dolores from Encanto if it were recoloured .. got me thinking .. do Lego do test runs on new moulds and then use them up in the BAM sections ?

We visited the Sheffield Meadowhall store today, they’d already run out of Spacemen ( not one I wanted thankfully ) they seemed to have plenty of the others though. I gave my Rococo Aristocrat a spare fan I had and it really compliments the figure, seems a shame some of the others came with 2 or 3 accessories and she only comes with 1. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm4khbMjOqS/

@Legoman123 I think a lot of us are hoping for minifigure scale, the piece count for it to be Rivendell some think suggests it’s going to me microscale. Still nothing concrete yet. My hope is minifigure scale and that the structure of Rivendell is somewhat similar to the Ewok Village and has pieces of the ‘city’ that fit together. Just had a thought .. wonder if there are any clues on the instructions inside the brickheadz ??
