@hikouki .. I only have the Minnie from the Disney train, but wondered if you spray the cloth piece with spray starch and sandwich it between 2 moulded skirts until it’s dried ? The moulded skirts do seem to ‘fit’ inside one another .. I haven’t tried it yet but that was my idea ? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

@Lemerbrix and @living_off_lego .. yep that’s pretty much how mine already looks .. apart from I removed the print from the blue mermaid tail .. to sort of make it match Ariel’s 😁

Rumours aplenty on Insta of a July 1st release of another Disney Castle .. set 43222 .. 4837 pieces .. priced at $399.99 .. with an 18+ tag. So many rumours at the moment, hopefully some leaks or official images soon. @DisneyLego I did this with my Ice Castle .. replaced the minidolls with the Elsa and Anna minifigures, sadly the only Little Mermaid minifigure we have is Ariel ( I realise we have Ursula too .. but she was banned from the palace 😂 ) We’re all thinking it’s gonna be Ariel’s Palace ( and I know that’s what they’ll market it as ) but shouldn’t it really be Triton’s Palace, he was the King, Ariel just happened to live there too 😁

There a minifigure artist .. Danny Breton on Instagram .. he made his own version of Halle’s Ariel, the new mermaid tail piece definitely lends itself well to the new version of Ariel. Gotta admit I don’t particularly like Flounder, but it’s based on live action. I’ve tried to post a link here but keep getting error messages. Search Insta for @danny.breton 👍🏼

Snow White celebrates 85 years since original public release this year. I wonder if the cottage set might tie in with both the 100th year Disney celebration AND its own 85th year celebration too.

Just noticed this one in a Harry Potter Lego group on Facebook .. it caught my attention straight away .. a microscale Rivendell by the talented Chris Tromans .. it’s not up on his rebrickable yet, but I imagine it soon will be.

There’s a great review on YouTube of the Up set by @just2good Some lovely details in this set .. some improvements Lego could have made, but overall not too bad 😁

Not sure if it’s been mentioned before, but in the leaked image of the Maleficent Dragon Transformation I just realised what the quote plaque on the side says “I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream” - Aurora ( and then I think it says ) Sleeping Beauty Seems strange that it isn’t a quote from Maleficent herself ?

@BrickBob Studpants oooooh really ? Niiice 😁👍🏼 @Darth Shadowthrone I don’t think we’ve had either for the Snow White Cottage or Dragon Transformation yet. Hopefully some more picture may leak soon. Interested in seeing which way they go with the Dwarfs, I’m hoping they don’t do moulded heads .. I’d prefer minifigure head versions .. only as long as Dopey has his ears 😁

I got there this morning at 09:15 .. opening at 11:00 .. I was third in the queue .. the guy at the front had got there an hour before me .. we all sat on the floor, but eventually after an hour I had to stand .. ha ha .. my store had the set displayed in its 3 ‘sections’ .. its beautiful, but looks very disjointed this way. The LOTR soundtrack was playing in store. They had them all bagged up in their original shipping containers ready at the cash desks. Got 3 GWP’s .. Frodo and Gollum, the moving truck and a small house set. Staff at the Meadowhall store are brilliant, friendly and helpful. They’re in for a busy day 🧝🏼‍♂️🧝🏼‍♀️🧝🏼

@DBlegonerd7 .. the storybook has those micro dolls in it so they’re different from regular minifigures 👍🏼

The leaked pic of the Evil Queen with the printed minifigure base shows the crown as having a domed head piece in the middle, kinda like the balk hair piece has the scalp showing through so you don’t see the stud on the top of the head. I think this is my favourite from this series. Love how the Slave in the Magic Mirror is depicted as a minifigure head. 😁 @JeanGreyForever I agree with you with the line down the torso, it just isn’t there in the film, I may try and get rid of it. I have some ideas on customising her already with official Lego parts and also the addition of one or two others 🍎🍷😁

Fantastic pictures .. looks like a great set .. bit cheeky putting Jiminy’s legs in a ‘moving’ pose .. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thought, even for a brief moment, that they’d made bendable short legs 😂

The initial Evil Queen leak doesn’t seem to be ‘finished’, some printing seems to be missing when you compare it to the one on the leaflet ( albeit a poor quality image ) the face also looks different .. and I doubt she’ll have a double sided head as the back could be visible

@Murdoch17 😂😂 maybe ‘Blue Aurora’ might have a different accessory .. the owl is a strange choice for Pink Aurora as she doesn’t really interact with the forest critters in Princess form .. only as Briar Rose 🤷🏻‍♂️

Imagine if they’d made Aurora a ‘chase’ figure .. blue dress or pink dress .. with no way of knowing which one it was until you opened it 😱😂

@THELEGOBATMAN .. I’m not sure it is yellow .. when you look at the bag image and think some of the parts that look yellow on there .. Pinocchio’s torso and the tops of his arms, Jiminy’s cravat, Robin Hood’s hat .. Cruella just seems to be more likened to light tan .. I’m hoping it’ll not be yellow anyway, not very movie accurate for me. 👍🏼

Some great minifigures .. glad Cruella seems to be light tan rather than the yellow leak the other day. Tiana, Aurora and Pocahontas are brilliant .. so I think we’re only missing Snow White and Cinderella from the main Princess Lineup now ? .. Prince John and Robin Hood .. the heads look a little big, but never mind. Looking forward to these 😍

I like the reveal of three of the CMF line up .. but .. the Queen does suffer from flesh skin tone being printed on a black minifigure head .. the same thing happened slightly with Maleficent in series 1 .. she got away with it more because of her unusual skin tone .. the Queen’s crown seems too big, although this may look better once the cape and collar are on. Cruella .. the face seems off, the earrings overpower the face / hair .. should be smaller and her coat was never yellow .. in the film it appeared to be off white / cream. I’m looking forward to seeing others. Mickey suffers from looking slightly spaced out. I knew the Queen gave me that “Ive seen this somewhere before” vibe .. interesting .. this person did their version of Ernesto de la Cruz too .. they also have pages of Disney minifigure designs .. posted in 2018 .. they did designs for 5 of the Seven Dwarves .. they’re fantastic ..
