@Agent Kallus me too .. although for me it’s Wicked .. but I have the same sliver of hope that Wicked ( only my opinion ) has a very much more adult fan base .. not saying kids don't love it too .. but fans have been waiting, very roughly, almost 10 years since rumours of the Wicked movie first began to appear, I’m leaning more towards the use of minifigures .. literally just thought too that when Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin-Man and the Cowardly Lion appear in Wicked part 2 Lego already have the moulds for these minifigures, sure they’ll have to alter some of the printing ( ruby slippers will need changing to silver ) I doubt they’d reuse the existing flying monkeys though. Time will tell I suppose. 😁👍🏼

With the announcement of Peter Dinklage voicing Dr. Dillamond in the movie … does this mean another new goat ?? Hopefully in minifigure form 😂🤞🏼

There are some new Dreamzz sets have been revealed today ,, there seems to be a new raven mould .. which would make a great Diablo to accompany Maleficent 😁

@roselemontea totally agree with you, it would be great to see some early concept ideas, especially the dwarfs with noses, although I can see what he means when he says they didn't look 'Lego' like .. I think there must have been a fine balance between the decision. I think they certainly should have included more animals, especially the deer and tortoise, but instead they included the well ?? Something from a totally different location ?? Hopefully if the recent leak of the preliminary renders of the Dungeons and Dragons CMF for September turn out to be real then there will be a little sparrow in dark tan we'll be able to add too

So someone has already done it .. created a MOC back and base to the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Cottage .. I 'think' you need another set to create this though as I'm guessing many of the parts aren't freely available on bricklink etc yet. Full credit goes to the original creator James Diano. So I came across a Dopey minifigure for sale in a facebook Lego group I’m a member off .. I wanted an extra one so I bought him, the seller also had the Bambi figure, so I got one of those too to add to the scene with the other forest critters, it works surprisingly well. Yeah it’s obvious that it’s Bambi, but as there are no actual Bambi sets as such it’ll just be a generic deer in the cottage scene. I also tried a pair of mid ‘teen’ legs ( from the newspaper boy ) on Dopey too so they could sit down at the table, doesn’t work at all ( only IMO of course ) makes him too tall. 😁👍🏼

Jumping the gun a little here probably, but as mentioned before the Princesses in their ‘alternate’ outfits would be fantastic, There was an entry to the Lego Ideas competition by Bulldoozer featuring 3 storybooks and 3 minifigures of Snow White in rags, Cinderella in her ‘maids’ clothing and Briar Rose .. they were great. Would be very welcome to get Ariel in human form, Jasmine when she dresses to go to the market and Belle in her villager dress. @OttoRiver I think a Jolly Holiday carousel might work .. imagine the horses in those pastel colours and as there’s only 4 it wouldn’t need to be huge .. al so perhaps a side build of the Waiter Penguins too .. also have you see Danny Bretton’s Jolly Holiday Mary figure illustration .. it’s stunning 😍 https://www.instagram.com/p/C3fo_0TLS9s/ Re B&B .. for me the only thing that comes to mind regarding Cottage / Village / Be Our Guest is that the Beast is never present at any of these scenes. With the Ballroom scene he’s there in both Beast and human form as they dance at the end. That could also be a good way to get human versions of Lumiere,Cogsworth and Mrs Potts and Chip too 😁

@Lion King Oh don’t get me wrong I too want both Belle and the Beast, I just meant Belle is the only Princess currently missing. I think the only way Lego will put both of them in a set it’ll be when it’s their own set similar to this years Snow White. Not sure which location they’d pick .. my best guess would be the ballroom scene.

@hikouki .. was that the one with the big Mickey Sorcerer’s Apprentice surrounded by all the characters ? Maybe they’ll include Beast and forgo some of the other characters ? But then does it become too Beauty and the Beast based ? Maybe with the Snow White set ( this week 😁😁😁 ) we might start to see more sets based on the films ? 🤞🏼

Let’s hope for Belle .. she’s the only ‘main’ Princess minifigure we’re missing now .. c’mon Lego 😁

@JeanGreyForever a few of the white bunnies, more birds, ordered a couple of the baby Rocket Raccoons .. they might not work but 🤷🏻‍♂️ Good idea on the Prince heads / hairstyles. I might order a Bambi, just think I’ll look at it and think “Bambi” 😂

Anyone else gathering forest critters etc to add to the set .. I am ha ha .. also received a basket in a better fitting colour to replace the Witch’s basket 😁

I’ve seen a couple of posts on the internet ‘complaining’ of the lack of forest critters in the Snow White set .. I had a thought that it would have been an amazing idea to create a Forest Friends add on pack .. perhaps as a gift with purchase on release weekend only .. the pack would have contained 4 or 5 bunnies in various colours, 3 or 4 raccoons ( Baby Rocket style .. not the Friends one ) some birds in browns and tans to represent the quails ( perhaps a larger one too for the mother ) some butterflies, a mouse from the Elephant Girl minifig and 2 of the ‘Bambi’ moulds in a lighter colour to differentiate it from the actual Bambi figure .. but most of all a new tortoise mould .. the tortoise provides a lot of light hearted moments in some of the cottage scenes. Not that I think it isn’t going to sell well, but I think a lot of people will wait for promotions like double points etc .. this would have boosted release weekend sales a lot I think 😁

No problem @JeanGreyForever .. I’ve zoomed in on the screen recording i took of the video and, like you, I seem to see 3 beds in the front and 3 in the back. Have you seen the cute little cuckoo clock next to the door ? Yes I too think that the reveal will officially be on Feb 15th .. which for me is today, but it’s the early hours still. There’s something at the side of the fireplace that i cant figure out what it is .. there are 2 spoons on one side and on the opposite side is something i can’t figure out. ?? 🤷🏻‍♂️

@cosmic I thought about getting the Bambi ‘minifigure’ to go in the set, but thought it would just look too much like Bambi had gatecrashed the set lol. I’d forgotten about the tortoise of course !! Shame we don’t have one we could use. The only thing I have a differing opinion on is the dwarf heads .. I’m glad they’re not moulded. I think the general Lego ruling seems to be if you’re a humanoid character you have a minifigure head .. animal or otherwise .. moulded. @BrickBob Studpants I keep checking the website for the set number or using the key words Snow White and nothing !! 🙄

Although the basket isn’t really the correct shape .. I suppose it’s the only one they do .. but yellow ?? Really ? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Nice to see another angle of the cottage though 😁 There are currently 10 Lego sets on the “Coming Soon” page .. just a shame the cottage isn’t one of them ! C’mon Lego it’s 16 days away ( if indeed the release date is March 1st )

Sorry, but for me if the minifigures hadn’t have been in that survey leak image I don’t see how anyone would have thought of that as the animated version of the Snow White cottage. It’s colour scheme resembles the A-frame cabin 🤷🏻‍♂️
