Well done on your haul .. I always forget how thick the bags are and that there's the leaflet in each one .. I found 3 Maleficents finding that the slope brick of her dress was the best part to feel for .. good luck with your next visit : )

The Lord of the Rings sets were my first port of call I assumed there would be one from Gandalf or one of the dwarves I could have used .. sadly not .. but you're right .. luckily the Ariel that I want the snarfblatt for and the Ursula I want the scroll for are just part of my little mermaid stuff .. I have an extra of both that I'll keep 'pure' for when I get the castle ^_^

Me again .. went to my nearest Lego store today ( they are all extremely helpful there ) they had them all segregated out into bags so you could ask for the ones you needed .. I got a couple for my niece too. This was their second delivery of them all and the girl there said they had more on order so ?? There were a couple looking through the bags on the shelves and we helped one another out and a young girl who was only after Captain Hook and Peter Pan .. so I mentioned to her that they had some already identified she should just ask the assistant .. so she got what she wanted and then said I I might as well have an Ariel while I'm here .. told them both about the upcoming castle and they were both like 'oooooooohh' I'm loving this figure the most so here's a quick pic .. Sebastian is obviously too big but I think Flounder is just about right .. I have a snarfblatt and also a while scroll ( this is for Ursula ) I found coming from Brick Warriors ^_^

Well back from my haul .. not a good experience but thanks to my relative I had 2 brand new boxes fresh off the lorry to look through .. some of these are easy to find others not so easy .. I did my best and then decided to take the plunge and buy both boxes ... so ... put the ones I had identified back in the first box .. at the checkout they refused to sell me both boxes .. apparently it's deemed as bulk buying and not for 'personal use' so I managed to retrieve the ones I had identified from the first box and then had to let the others go. If I'd have know they wouldn't sell me the boxes I'd have spend a lot longer going through the second box too ! Ahh well .. Been told that I can return on another day to buy another set .. oh yeah they'd only let me buy 18 as there's 18 in a set .. but I can't go back in later and buy more. Bad show TRU bad show : (

Just seen some promo pics on the official Lego page on Facebook .. they have Ariel's tail on 'back to front' to what we're used to seeing so far .. thing is it looks kinda good .. any thoughts ? Also .. I already have a 'dinglehopper' to give Ariel and also Flounder and Sebastian to go along with her .. I'm not sure if the Sea Captain's seagull is enough like Scuttle .. but I've discovered Brick Warriors have a perfect looking Snarfblatt .. thoughts again ? http://www.brickwarriors.com/gentlemans-pipe/

The thread seems to have gone quiet .. so as per my last post my Sebastian and Flounder accessories have arrived ( Sebastian is a bit out of scale .. too big .. but I can live with that ) for when I get Ariel and Ursula ( have to be honest although I'm a fan of most of this series the only ones I'll probably be purchasing are The Little Mermaid ones .. hopefully if the series does well there may be more characters .. King Triton .. Eric ? ) Why didn't they give Ariel a dinglehopper ?? I have The Simpsons house so one of my forks will be sprayed silver and given to Ariel .. and why no 'voice shell' and Flotsam and Jetsom with Ursula ?? She has the trident which she takes possession of for a mere few minutes in the film and if they ever make Triton they'd have to include it with him ?? Roll on May / June though .. looking forward to better images of all of them ^_^

My favourites have to be Ariel and Ursuala ( others are good, some not so good, but you can't please everyone ) my question is is anyone else getting the mini Flounder and Sebastian to go along with Ariel .. already ordered mine ^_^
