  1. Those look fantastic! I may pick up a set of those legs or the whole Fun at the Beach set :) Thanks for showing what it looks like, your Justice League seems fab!
  2. Oh damn, you're right! Wow, have to buy that set now. Or are the legs on Bricks and Pieces?
  3. How long do people think the Ninjago Movie sets will stay on shelves? Would like to plan a timeframe for saving up for that beautiful City set and maybe even the sailboat...
  4. If you look closely at the bottom floor, there are holes in the bricks at the bottom for you to connect up with the sides of the Creator Modulars.
  5. God, it's so beautiful. I don't own any Ninjago sets and have never had interest in collecting them, but this is an incredible set that would fit perfectly with City and Modular sets. I love it so much, what a unique flavour for a city-style build! I don't know if I'll have enough money for this, but I'm seriously considering saving up for this set. I think this is one of those sets people will massively regret not buying when the Ninjago Movie theme ends.
  6. I've been majorly turned off LEGO Star Wars for a long time now, and I haven't really collected it since 2009. However, with the recent news of Ewok Village retiring, I just needed to add it to my collection. It's ordered now, but even when it arrives, it'll be my Christmas treat so I can't open it until December. The wait is going to be painful! Cannot wait to pair Ewok Village with my old Endor Base to make a display!
  7. Put in my order for the Ewok Village in response to the news that it will retire soon. I couldn't miss out on the opportunity to pair it up with my old Endor Base! Should make a great display with some green baseplates and plenty of stormtroopers! Can't wait for it to arrive in the post, but it's my Christmas treat, so I'll have to wait a long time to be allowed to open it.
  8. What a beautiful set this will be! Proud of having been one of the 10,000 supporters. This is going to look amazing in any LEGO Town! Massive congrats to the designer on a job well done!
  9. I saw the images of the sets - Pizzeria is a STAND OUT for any City/Town fans. Looks beautiful, and the colour scheme is very natural and will fit into any town layout. A must-buy for me, I hope it's not too expensive. The only complaint I have with the Pizzeria is that, like all of the Friends buildings, it's a facade and not a fully-enclosed building like a modular. I'm sure that can be easily remedied though.
  10. The Pizzeria, Sports Centre and House sound AMAZING! I imagine the Pizzeria will pair up nicely with the 2017 City Pizza Truck. The Sports Centre could be populated with CMF sporting figures, and houses are just always useful. Friends continues to be the theme that impresses me so much with its set design.
  11. The Townhouse looks nice, and I will always welcome any residential sets or sets depicting the lives of ordinary LEGO citizens. I love the inclusion of the moped, and the house itself looks cute and tidy. Weird brick-built dog is weird, but also cute and old school - I wonder if he could be replaced with the new little LEGO CMF westie, which looks rather similar? Cute brick-built bird too, and those alternate builds appear solid also. The rebuildable dinosaur set is so wonderful.
  12. I LOVE the sound of that 'Pizza Delivery Truck', that sounds excellent and I certainly can't wait to have pizza delivery be available to my minifigs. I imagine that it and the Friends Hot-Dog Van when I eventually pick that up will experience some competition. The 'Bank Robbery' sounds like it might have some potential, but I'll have to wait and see pictures. It seems like it might be a more kid-friendly, action-orientated version of the Brick Bank.
  13. Possibly wishful thinking, but here's my guess: You're reminding me of the Superman tagline, "you will believe a man can fly." So my hopeful guess is that this is a comic book shop. Other guesses: Travel agency? Sounds a bit boring, so hopefully not.
  14. The LEGO Doctor Strange set is on the shelves for sale in Art N Hobby in Ireland!
  15. The Batmobile and the Joker's Low-Ride have been unveiled on LEGO's Twitter!
  16. Supporting all of these. LEGO CW Flash is my biggest wish at the moment! These are wonderful.
  17. Just finished building it, absolutely lovely set! The Javelin is HUGE, very happy to have it considering I love the Justice League TV show. It's a shame that Hawkman's wings aren't proper pieces, however. I may have to pick up a Flying Warrior to remedy that.
  18. I've never found a discontinued LEGO set in the wild - however, today I found one box of 'Darkseid Invasion' just sitting among the recent LEGO Super Heroes sets! The experience went like this: Very, very happy right now!
  19. I would probably do the same. How much would a full box cost?
  20. I'm working entirely from memory here so don't quote me on anything exactly, but I think it is a Fun Pack with Hermione. Odd not to have Ron, if that's the case! Whichever character it is, it's a Fun Pack I believe. I have no idea what those are. Perhaps just more upcoming sets that we know will exist but don't know the titles/content of yet.
  21. Unfortunately, I do think LEGO considers Nexo Knights as the current theme that serves the 'Castle' setting. While it does paint everything over with a big dash of science fiction, each set is based on some typical 'Castle' fixture - the idea of knights, siege engines, fortresses, chariots, etc. While all of these are dressed up to be futuristic and sci-fi, they do use the absolute bare bones of Castle before the bonkers colour scheme and lasers are added. Nexo Knights is proving to be VERY popular with children, and LEGO, as a children's toy, will respond to the demand of kids first and foremost. I expect that the theme will run for another few years quite successfully, and sadly I do not think that Castle sets released over that same period of time would catch kids' attention as much as Nexo Knights does. Nexo Knights is very colourful, action-packed, and has science fiction elements that appeal to kids who don't like the whole serious "Medieval fantasy" aesthetic that basic Castle uses. At the least, I believe that LEGO could decide to create one Castle set - perhaps a large D2C - just to appease adult collectors who love the usual Castle theme. They would not commit to a full Castle theme while Nexo Knights is running, but a special single set to acknowledge frustrated AFOLs feels reasonable to me.
  22. Haha, I'm with you actually! I would genuinely love a Rainbow Batman. That would indeed be glorious. Still no Reverse Flash for him to fight though.
  23. You've forgotten the single most important Batman variant:
