The Tale of Doctor Alfredson of Corrington: Chapter 5 Chapter 1 : Embarking on towards Adventure.Chapter 2 : The Voyage of the Autumn Blossom.Chapter 3 : Rehearsal in Rassilon Chapter 4 : Hurriedly hiring help. Character list in spoiler brackets. Whilst Yiroe and Ruri attended to their business, Ragnar took the opportunity to observe and record the ecology of the nest of thieves. This was largely 'uncharted territory' as though there were an odd few but by and large sea rats were not scientists and cared little for the natural surroundings on their isles. Ragnar Also though that he could use this time to continue his instruction of his apprentice in the disciplines of ecology. So they went along the coast to "This should be a good site to start with" "Are you not going to systematically measure along the to gather your sites?" "No we have not the time for such frivolities, and I have found stratified sampling methods to be more favourable anyhow." "No overall slope angle." "This we have here is a soil pin, you stab it into ground to measure the depth of the soil, you should be able to tell when you have reached that depth as you can feel the difference and hear the sound of the rocks below." "Right, should I be taking notes?" "This is mostly stuff you should already know, just to refresh your memory, feel free to take notes if you'd like." "We'll want to place down the quadrat over this area" The quadrat was large and hefty, Ragnar needed Satoshi and Calder to carried it over and placed it on top of the environment. "I don't recognise this type of palm tree. We should of course double check the reference books but I think this may be an undocumented species." "i can't find anything like it in the reference material for this ecosystem." "Brilliant, sounds like a new discovery to me, I'll note it down as the Man-wide palm foe now, we can work on its scientific name once we've determined it's genus" "The Man-wide palm? why the Man-wide, I'd have expected you to call it the Alfredson tree or something like that." "Well at 3 studs wide it is close to the width of a man, and there is already a tree named after me." " Ah soil samples, this is my favourite part. Could someone fetch me somwthing to dig with?" "Here ya go." "That's not quite what he was asking for." "Yes, using a shovel for soil samples would be like using a musket as an oar." "Is this better?" "Ah my trowel! Thank you Satoshi." "Grr" Ragnar filled up jars with earth and then went to sit down and note down his observations. "Calder look at these results, do you notice anything odd about them." "The habiat looks inhospitable with the salty sea breeze, but it somehow supports the tree." "Yes, quite. This is however as expected, remember that palm trees and the like are the exception and not the rule." Meanwhile in Corrington ,the navy were training the Marines on how to use a musket as an oar, though some of the officers were concerned that they should first make waterproof muskets. OOC: This is a very little one but I like it. I haven't been posting theses in the same order that I built them and this one was photographed before I swapped backgrounds. Thanks for reading, comments are criticism are welcome.

Ninjago City - Too Compact? Lifts?
Agent Kallus replied to Brickplay's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm not 100% sure what you are asking, but the ninjago city set is designed so that the layers can be easily separated to access the interior. -
To be entirely honest, I think that would be a waste of your precious time. Most video reviews are just embedded YouTube reviews and people will most likely just look them up on youtube. (Myself included) Now I have a crazy idea that I think would help. I call it the Eurobrick awards or Eurobrickys for short. It would be an annual MOC awards and each forum would have a topic where people could nominate mocs from that forum eg. pirates ,star wars or historical, a short list could then be created from the nominations by judges/judge and then put to the polls, and the 1st 2nd and 3rd from entry category would receive a relevant tag. If permitted I could do most of the heavy lifting myself though we might want some one more skilled to make the tags (but I'd be happy to try.) and as well as the main subforums we could also have a few extras like ldd builds only, mircoscale or brickheadz etc. Just a crazy idea, I don't mind if you don't like it or want to put someone else in charge of it.

well there's the half snake introduced in ninjago (hands of time) and the new parts released to released soon such as the mammoth, the eagle ,the smilodon or Ace the bat-hound, though I'm guessing you'd want to wait for better pictures, and you probably knew about some (or all) of them already. There is also another colour and print for the baby dino. The porg from star wars is brick built and has no special pieces (expect for print) but I would include it so I'll suggest it here for your consideration. I am presuming that we will also get a faither in this design. (shown in spoiler due to large picture). And as they were one of my favourite things from star wars 8 I'd love to see Vulptex (though I have no proof that they might be coming). As for brick and pieces yellow, green and gold frogs are available (in the UK at least.).They all cost £0.12 and have the design number 28841.

Symths has some good discounts at the moment, for example the ucs snowspeeder is down to £135.99 (though that might just be in store) and the Wakandan wall is now £27.99 which makes it cheaper than the hulkbuster.

It'd be cool if eurobricks ran more small contests with tags as prizes. Brickset used to have a lot of linked EB reviews, that's actually how I came across EB in the first place, and after I found EB I used its review indexes (indices?, indexopodes?) as a useful tool when deciding which sets to pick up, but as the years go on the indexes are more and more ,both because of less reviews and less updating of the indexes. I joined the star warts one after I first joined EB but I got confused about the rules and whether vehicles should be from star wars cannon or not e.t.c, the rules of the role playing games still confuse me a little but I wanted to join in and so I recently joined botbs. I recently found Eurobricks on flickr and I put some of Botbs builds there. I do for some, I use flickr as an image host, I made digital mocs for flickr and most a physical mocs are not shared though I have upload my BoTBS builds to flickr so I can embed them into my botbs posts. Broader, because then there is less minimodding and confusion. It used to be vaderfan2187's poll topics before he was banned and they were shut, now its probably the bricks and pieces topic. Perhaps a forum-games sub-forum (which wouldn't count to post total) could help build a greater sense of community and would be a good place for things like a one word at time story like there used to be on here but later mysteriously disappeared maybe it could be part of the community sub-forums and stuff like the whats your favourite... or the cats one could be moved there.

when they showed the movie's title again at the end and snap killed all the letters I thought the dust was going to settle into a 'part 1' now that would've been epic.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
Agent Kallus replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
$3.99 which equates to £2.90 so 9 pence difference fro the UK price of £2.99. This is the closest priced set between the States and the Kingdom that I've noticed, it would be nice if we brits could regularly get lego as cheap as they do in the US but alas tis but a dream. -
Most people use external image hosting sites, I for example use flickr and copy across the bb code. Welcome to Eurobricks. Are you from Antarctica?

It works with minifigs in Ldd so I'd guess so. Edit: it is shown on a minifig in the ninjago docks. -
