Next magazine (November 2018) in Netherlands has an "official" macy with hairpiece: Looks like it's the Minifig Hair Ponytail Long with Side Bangs part. And that explains the reason why no armor as it won't fit. I only have them in dutch (all magazines from 2016-2018 so far)

D.va's mech suit is almost a given, it's part of the Hero. So is some form is Payload cart. We do see giant mechs in Volskaya in both Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm, and we see a giant tracked vehicle at the start of some maps as spawnpoint. But still what I meant was, with something like Nexo Knights, each wave had like at least 1 vehicle per hero, that won't happen with Overwatch I hope, and we hopefully see some structural or terrain decoration instead, there's great places, from cities, to pyramids to temples and more. I hope the focus is very much on minfigures and locations, and at least for the first wave or year, we get each main hero once in their original skin instead of duplicates.

If this was on Shop@Home or general retailers in Europe I'd buy it.

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Why is it so weird? Availability of sets fades after a while, and it's nice to see some fresh sets. While the big police and fire stations usually are for sale in a lot of places, the smaller sets tend to disappear after a while, especially after 3 years. -
I meant one of either, not some super weird hybrid

Secretly hope it's a minifig James Bond theme. Bond 25 is coming in 2019. And we did get the Aston Martin set. ---- If not, a in-house Space / Western / Castle theme with throwbacks to the 80s/90s would be very nice as well.
-
I never got the Redbeard figure but I did get Captain Ironhook (Islanders theme), that's very similar aside from a more ragged red shirt torso. But Redbeard has been very memorable on the Catalogs of the 1989 and the 90s for me back then as a kid.

Since at least in-game Overwatch isn't focused on vehicles, but locations, I do hope a focus on locations/structures/scenes here as well. Yes we see giant mechs and armored vehicles as static objects or in the background story, but I do hope a focus on the actual in-game characters/levels instead. Even if it's going to be a Hero vs Villain theme, I still hope vehicles/giant mechs won't be the main focus. As for skins/multiples, I hope it's just 1 original version of each first. And if they really go for story focused, it will be more complicated since heroes ages/uniform and even appearance changes if they go by background story.

LEGO Creator 2019 - Rumors, Discussion, and Speculation
TeriXeri replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I liked the idea too. They even sort of implemented the system in the Brand Store set, even while it's not Creator labeled, it certainly has modules like it. I hope there's more Creator Buildings but from known set names for now, the Boathouse seems the only option to possibly have the modular system. But it seems to be in the bigger price range, so has potential to have some great alternate builds like the Camper from 2016, and this year's Cruising Adventure set.- 280 replies

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Anything can happen, the last roadplate change was in 2005 when they turned dark bley. And the last design change was 2002. -
I like the building, but for the price I rather wait to see at least the 2019 City Fire lineup.

Lego City 2019 - Rumours, Speculation and Discussion
TeriXeri replied to TheArturro's topic in LEGO Town
Really want to see the new Fire/Police sets and possibly changed Road Baseplates. Hopefully Burger Bar is majority of an actual building and not 80% firetruck. -
Thank you, it works now

New part idea 1x1 grille brick
TeriXeri replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think a 2 high 1 wide version of those would be a useful parts, you could add a grill tile vertically for example. I wouldn't mind seeing actual 1x1 or 2x1 bricks with the profile texture or brickwall texture however. -
Don't think its really accurate to base set sell rates off shelves, I know europe is very heavy on webshop sales, which are often cheaper then physical stores at least over here (not counting special sticker discounts you just have to happen to run into). I know most physical toy stores in my region actually sell sets at or above lego.com price, with only the smallest category of sets ending up in more generic discount stores.

Was surprised to see that the globlin printed round discs in the magazine catapult have trans orange rounded (boat) tiles , did not see that in the preview picture, gives them a bit more shape/mass for catapulting. Young Clay next month is a good one too.

LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
TeriXeri replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Mostly vehicles doesnt sound too promising for the theme, but without pictures it's hard to tell how it will look/combine with 2016 sets. Rock monsters do sound nice but need to see how they actually look. -
Can't wait to the see the Shark villain, might be a bigfig (based on my own speculation), definately not so cute :)

[MOC] Nexo Knights - Lava Gatehouse Raid
TeriXeri replied to Vorkosigan's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well done the colors/pieces used does fit the style. We really need more building-focused sets like this, fortifications/towers/civilian structures. -
Never had or wanted chima sets but there are some decent designs in the bigger sets imo. Speedorz and constraction just didnt help the theme , legend beasts also never appealed to me. There just wasnt enough consistency in the theme to appeal to me to get my out of Dark ages and collect any, the bases mostly look great (lion and croc especially) while some of the vehicles have really weird proportions there were still good ones too (eagle/mammoth/tiger look the best imo). Mind you this is from just basing it off internet pictures/video reviews. The Tribe pack sets looked like a nice idea to expand and hope they do something like that for Nexo knights once they add more factions to make it worthwhile.

I did grow up with classic space from family, recenly (mostly) rebuilt 928 and 6872 but there were a lot more sets incomplete(& broken parts) at this moment but the amount of white/red/yellow (faded) spacemen tells there were quite a few sets owned including 6952 based on parts. I used the wing plates, tails, engine, canopy parts all the time in aircrafts and the printed slopes 2x2 as computers in various settings so classic space is very versatile as far as parts usability, even back then as a kid. I do own some smaller complete sets from Mtron (6811)/Blacktron-2 (6812)/Ice planet2002(6834)/ UFO (6829,2847) and Insectoids (2964,6817,6907). Insectoids are my favorite owned theme. Being in my Dark Ages from 2000 onwards, Looking back, I think space went majorly downhill aside from Space Police 3 which is imo the most modern take on older space themes/imagination. I do collect Nexo Knights since 2016, and the combination of blue with neon orange and the vehicle wheel style definately brings back ice planet vibes.

Photonomicon: Historic Minifig Evolution
TeriXeri replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
What about the 1995(Royal Knights subtheme) 6008:Royal King :) -
Concept model looks interesting from a design origin, like a jouster tank with a prison and horse head but doesn't look as interesting or very knight themed compared to the final result imo. Have to say the original doesn't appeal to me with the current style however, hope they wont do too many land vehicles overall anymore. But I can imagine they took elements into sets like fortrex and lance mecha horse from there. The shields with slide-in decoration turned out into pretty cool shield holders with matching shield shaped tiles (both parts could be used in other(castle) themes as well)

Interesting thing in the magazine #6 comic they show the lava scorpion/beetle and the clapper as monsters so I wonder if we ever see those as sets.
