  1. You mean set 80103 ?
  2. Evil Genie is like a hybrid of Whipparella and General Magmar and a Genie. Looks great. Maybe I see it like that just because it's red and I love the lava monsters.
  3. Fantastic to see more Xtra. It's very nice to see a cheap and easy way to get sharks, new parrot color* and treasure. Edit: Ok the parrot color isn't "new" for 2019, but in a much cheaper set compared to Assembly Square or Corner Garage.
  4. A minifig Advent Calendar would be great, I'm not a fan of random blind bags and "feeling" isn't very viable as most of my local stores don't even seem to have CMF on shelves. Of course we got the City fun in the Park/Beach/Outdoor recently, which grew the population of my collection significantly.
  5. Less then 150 to go for the Food Stand Diners which I really love and I think it's perfectly viable as a medium sized Ideas Set. Chemical plant looks very nice too but it's huge, and there's already the Tree House as the next big Ideas set. (and Flintstones as the next "licensed" ideas set)
  6. I really hope the Food Stand Diners idea hits 10000 (currently at 9846). It's really something LEGO needs more of imo, minifig food/shops/buildings that aren't as big set as Modulars, and also don't have more then 10% of parts used on vehicles. Of course there are fantastic larger buildings on Ideas that use a lot of pieces, but I think making smaller Ideas into sets is a good thing too. Not everyone has a huge budget or space to put Modular-size buildings, so that's why I favor small to medium sized sets.
  7. Nexo Knights sets been silently going out of stock and this wave didn't have the retiring label either.
  8. Doesn't look bad at all, but still wish they'd offer some 3-in-1 buildings at the same time.
  9. Creator 3-in-1 sets are over 6-12 usually, and sets like the Pirate Rollercoaster even 9-14, they just really lack any significant "City" stuff beside the Race Plane and Houseboat sets this year (some smaller sets are still great however) I loved the Sweet Surprises shop too (8-12) Basicly all the non fire/police 2019 buildings are found on Friends and that's just entirely different from minifig imo.
  10. I say it again, but I really miss a Fire and Police Starter set. The only 2019 Police set I think is good is the patrol car , but that's because I only just started collecting Police. The rest of the sets could have been easily split into smaller ones, especially Air Base + huge airplane, but that's from an adult perspective of budget. I like some elements in the sets like the golden firemen statue, the burger bar, the construction site, but then there's a lot of extras in the sets too. It's been a trend with City sets for a long time now, in my opinion, usually if there's a nice location/building, there's also a vehicle or multiple taking a large part of the parts/price. I know kids love vehicles/play and I did as a kid too, but maybe I am a different demographic now. I know this isn't related to City but just how I feel about 2019 so far: Creator doesn't have much to offer this Winter in terms of buildings, the best minifig "building" set so far is Emmet's Dream House. And the best "starter set" is Benny's Space Squad. Of course I am looking forward to the 2019 Minfigure big pack, and Summer sub-theme, whatever it is: 2015 had Construction + Divers + Space (+Swamp Police) 2016 had Airport + Volcano Research (+ Prison Island Police + Fire) 2017 had Coast Guard + Jungle ( + City Police) 2018 had Mining + Arctic ( + Mountain Police) 1H 2019 Fire+ Sky Police (no city subtheme yet?)
  11. That 67 Mini is amazing, but I don't like buggy added to the price/parts. Would have liked it a lot as a smaller set like the F40 is sold seperate. Even that Workshop could have been seperate and I'd be more interested. Kind of had the same feeling with the Green Porsche this year.
  12. Patrol Car, Police Helicopter look nice. Kayak Adventure isn't bad either. City is not my main theme to collect so I prefer smaller sets. Only thing that's really missing is a Police/Fire/Construction/(other) Starter Pack imo. (3-4 minifigs)
  13. After seeing better picture quality, I like the sets very much, only missing some actual houses/shops and some more sets with minifigs, hopefully with the Summer wave. If that Race Plane has all prints that's fantastic. Underwater Robot has great parts, ratchet hinges are much more fun then regular big ball joints & even some gold nuggets in the set (from the 2018 City mining).
  14. Most sets don't look crazy overpriced, outside of the Suitcases.
  15. House Boat set isn't too bad. Especially the 3rd build (small boat/dock). I do hope Creator Summer 2019 has some 3-in-1 Minifig buildings again, right now the most Creator-ish House set is the Lego Movie 2 Dream House. (Keeping buildings like Ideas Tree House/Fishing Store , or Creator Expert sets in their own discussion since they are just at a much higher price point) So far it looks like the 3-in-1 "modular" system is going away, or at least there hasn't been a new one yet.
  16. Ok the 60215 Fire House and 60214 Burger Bar sets are definately my favorite 2 2019 Fire sets now that I've seen multiple pictures of both. I like the compact style of this Fire Station and it's still decently closed up on the sides.
  17. Instantly love the Dream House and Space Team sets.
  18. I don't mind a few junior sets, small ones at that, I can skip them. I just need to see a better picture/video/review of the Fire Station/Burger Bar to fully judge the 2019 Fire wave.
  19. Same here, Classic Space or some Classic Castle would be nice.
  20. BBQ burn out has like the tiniest BBQ ever on a junior car, oh well. But 2018 10750 Road Repair Truck was in City line as well, with similar style. Knighton Castle (Summer 2017) had 2 of them on the front gates.
  21. 31091* (I typed wrong number) It does look good for microscale, even the alternate builds, but it's still an entirely different kind of set. 2018 almost had no microscale builds for Creator so I was hoping they'd be gone.
  22. Biggest clock tower set has been Big Ben but that's a Palace.
  23. "microscale" Shuttle Transporter (31091), kinda disappointing, but at least I just got the 31066 3-in-1 Shuttle for like half price this week.
  24. Basicly ended with a cliffhanger where Clay jumped down the portal into the digital world, and the comic picture on the cover of next magazine has the Tech-Wizard Showdown set mech (set 72004). (Clay used his 70351 Falcon Jet the whole time during this season) No new major characters or vehicles, just some generic civilians/hover cars that have been used throughout all the series. Last year during the stone monsters they had stone scurriers but those never were made into Toy form.
  25. Basicly without going too specific: Recover each of the 7 Merlok Powers in some location, Knighton gets more infected over time , Merlok gets weaker fighting digital Monstrox, and now final portal opened. Not that much different from the previous 2 waves , but at least they had a TV animated show for the Lava/Stone years. - Lava monsters : Books of Evil - Stone monsters : Forbidden Powers
