  1. Brickset obv. doesn't have the two new Freeze's in their database yet. And I can't get any of the old old old figs, so maybe it's a contest for second best?
  2. Also, I would love to see Renee Montoya in this, but I don't think that's who we are looking at because they seem to be portraying a lady that is older than Montoya is typically depicted. I'm referring to the haircut and the wrinkles under the eyes. I want to guess Barbara's mom for an all-cop family, but I have no idea. If it were Montoya, leave the reverse of the head blank and you have The Question!
  3. Unless I missed it, nobody has mentioned what appears to be a spoiler in these posters I also don't understand the complaints about the cmf packaging color. You realize that the color theme for TLBM is yellow, right? Look at the posters and the other boxes!
  4. Is this the most Batman:TAS accurate version of Mr. Freeze we've had? I only have the '66 version at the moment, so the new Juniors one is tempting.
  5. Love it! Put those legs on my BL wishlist to update my JJ fig. too.
  6. I'm with you. I actually like the goofy print on the Mighty Micros helmet, but the mold looks a bit like an upside down bucket. It doesn't appear to have a lot of detail in the shape that suggests Iron Man specifically. I bet we'll feel differently when when we actually have it in hand and see it from different angles.
  7. I used that head on my own, but mine was an MCU version. People responded that the goofy grin wasn't great, but I don't mind it so much.
  8. We should find a way to resolve this because it is VERY easy to get last year's Target cube still (but not for long as they will probably go back on shelves for the holiday shopping season). So if there's a thread where people post these things for trading or whatnot we should share. I literally bought four more of them at Target in September and returned them to the store when they didn't sell on eBay. (That's the one with Lightning Lad - I missed the Superboy cube, and they are definitely gone). Sorry for posting an off topic post. Let me correct that: Do we know if there will be more DC Super Hero Girls sets released in 2017 after the Nov 16/Jan 17 wave? I know there are plans for more sets in the theme, but I can't remember if there were planned release dates announced as well.
  9. I would love to see pictures of Wong and Kaecillius (with appropriate head?) for emulation purposes. Thanks in advance!
  10. Krypto comes with a fire hydrant to pee on. Nothing like potty humor to remind you toys are for kids! I am very enthused about the line in general, and am impressed by the quality of the figures. I'm puzzled though because while I agree with most that the Bat-Jet is one of the best sets, I am in the minority in finding the Wonder Woman set underwhelming. The builds are very blocks, the motorcycle is that 2 or 3 piece shell that keeps coming up in superhero sets, and the colors are so bright! I want to say that they even clash. Given that WW is the star of the show, I was excited to see her set and fig, but I am not really feeling either. BTW even my seven year old son saw the Bat-Jet and said must-get. These sets and the show have broader appeal than many here are giving them credit for. Positives for him? Batgirl is a hard minifigure to find (I may have to go for the keychain version at some point) and this way we would have one to put on our shelf of DC characters.
  11. I love these figures! The printing looks great, with lots of detail, and really captures the essence of the characters from the show. Not crazy about some of the set designs, but the Bat-Jet looks pretty neat. Can't wait to see a high-res image of the Wonder Woman fig. I still with the minidolls' wrists would rotate, or their legs could move independently, but within the limitations of the minidolls, these looks pretty great.
  12. Technically Toys R Us is doing a Marvel polybag exclusive this month, but it's not a new one and it's a gift with purchase promotion in Canada only. It's the Spider-Man vs. Venom Symbiote set, which has been hard to find, so there's that.
  13. Yup, Anatoli Knyazev is in the film, and is the alter ego of KGBeast in the comics, and now I see that one of the Henchmen from the set kinda looks like him in the movie!
  14. Is KGBeast a little easier to remember?
  15. If someone could clarify something for me, I have gotten very confused ... Is the Scuttler the same vehicle/set as the Batwing? Or are they separate things? The Batmobile in the trailer transforms into the Batwing, so I wonder if there will be anyway to build one out of the other. However, they seem to be ignoring real Lego physics in this one, unlike in The Lego Movie.
  16. Amazing, thanks for the info! Can't wait to see them myself. The school and the batjet seem the neatest for me. Across the theme, we are getting Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, and Batgirl, who are all main characters on the show. The one I am confused about is "Lashida". First, could it be "Lashina" who is one of Granny Goodness' Female Furies and traditional villain? That would make more sense on one hand, but on the other hand she doesn't appear in the movie with the other Furies in the movie...
  17. I'd say it's a given, as all three of the trinity have appeared in a Duplo set together http://brickset.com/sets/10599-1/Batman-Adventure, indicating to me at least that Lego thinks of them in similar ways.
  18. IIRC The new armor will have the Might Micros Helmet? (in the Detroit Steel set) I wonder if this means they are moving away from giving us Iron Man 3 armors, or if they feel that the new helmet suits a particular armor more.
  19. I don't know if they'll do it again this year because they still have large numbers of leftovers of last year's. Some stores have dozens, probably waiting for the season to put them back on the shelves.
  20. I thought it was funny too! It also points out how weird it looks!
  21. Captain Nemo, first off THANK YOU. This helps a lot. Since you have seen the types of info that cause the most problems but that are also genuinely worth discussing, in your opinion what is the best place for it? I am wondering if the "rumors" should be moved to the "future" forums. Wouldn't be hard, just need to convince the sources (of which there are very few reliable ones) to put their future posts there. Your reasoning for the "sets" fora staying a certain way are sound, but I feel that the word "rumors" and the rumor tradition should be removed to maintain that objective. Unconfirmed/unofficial info goes one place (rumors, speculation, discussion), confirmed info and TLG releases go another place. Again, I would like to hear your opinion and the opinions of the community. ps Does this belong here still? I think probably not.
  22. Lol! Panthers aren't marsupials though
  23. To me two of this year's sets are "inspired" by the Suicide Squad movie, and maybe desert Batman is inspired by Knightmare Batman (maybe). Does anyone have an interpretation of what the Scarecrow set is inspired by? I like making (tenuous) connections between sets and DC in other media, it enhances my enjoyment of the sets. Blue Beetle makes me think Young Justice, but how closely does the fig resemble the cartoon? I can't figure out which Scarecrow the figure is meant to look like, and Killer Moth is just an awesomely bizarre choice for this set.
