Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
RetroInferno replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
TFA sets were either relying a lot on mini figs for their success, over priced or wildly innacurate. How many people would have skipped the FO transporter if they knew that Phasma would have been trash? What about the 60$ battlepack called Takodana? I don't feel attracted to the RO sets only because of their figs, which I don't feel is the case If I was to get some TFA sets. -

Those officers are really neat, I like that they even added the blue pins on the Imperial code cylinders. Those imperial navy troopers with dual faces are really great too, finally some chin straps instead of those mics. And I don't want to jynx but they are probably gonna end up being really expensive, theres like 6 exclusive figs in a 25 figs sets. -

Lego Elves and Friends are sexists now, what? I get that social constructs has an influence on kids, and that toy companies gets a share of it, but that doesn't determine what boys and girls like entirely, that's completly putting aside scientific evidence. -

I'll buy all 5 sets from the online store, my father will probably buy the constraction figures. I skipped eveything from TFA except for the falcon, this wave is MUCH better than TFA. -
Nice to see some pizza related sets, and the bank robbery seems nice :) But so many quads, once again!

An UCS Jabba's sail barge would be top notch too. -
Could I have one too, please? :) Thanks!

People in the US think the 100$ hike increase is bad? Look at what a guy from the UK has to pay for the thing, the price went from 275,99 pounds to 400 pounds. I don't hate the 2016 Deathstar, but the 200 or so more pieces don't add better play or display value, and the price increase may somewhat be diminished in the US with inflation and such, but outside of the US? Heck no.

Ermm those are flick fire missiles, and yeah they both have 2 each. The U-Wing has side stud shooters near the cargo bay though. -

Jumping 30$ from 70 US on the U-Wing? That's a first. That the same price difference for the Slave 1, a 200$ set. I was expecting 120$ on the shuttle at worst, but 100$ for that U-Wing... -

Me too, but I'll start by getting one of each and see how that goes next. I may try my hands at reviewing them too, if time allows :) -

I'm analyzing what is a print or a sicker on those sets and I think I've pinned everything down except for Krennic's canopy piece. Anyone knows if it's a sticker or a print? -

Yeah, I'm curious if any of the rebel troopers included in this wave are going to be exclusive, and not included in a battlepack in 2017. 2 of the 3 troopers have the same torso prints, 2 of them have a brand new helmet mold and the other is a recolor of the endor commando one. -

Isn't getting two Death Troopers a bit excesive though? I would have thought they'd shove a shore trooper in there. Anyway who confirmed the troops quantity? For all we know we are getting stormies and death troopers, and that was from Legomilk. -

Krennic's shuttle seems like an engineering marvel; incredibly huge wingspan, the whole model can open up, maximised and good looking interior and add bad megablocks figures. And no major design megabluck up like Kylo's beaten horse shuttle. Oh and the price is pretty great! The U-Wing looks equally impressive: they did get the wings proper, the underneath cargo hold appears to be huge, upper and under side canopies, nice figs. It seems that this whole wave dodged a lot of design bullets! My only criticism is the price of the Striker and that some aspects of the AT-ST looks meh but overall very happy about these sets, I almost forgive Lego for that lazy Death Star :) -

60$ US for the Striker? That feels more appropriate :) Still no confirmation on the CAN prices though? :( -

RetroInferno replied to Major_Ton's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Imagine getting both a good looking Cloud City UCS playset and a kick megablocks UCS ISD in the same year? And concerning the Slave One the only thing that could have been improved are more prints and the exhaust color is wrong ( blue instrad if orange ). That set is really damn great.
