Force Friday (30th September) promotions
RetroInferno replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Still no official avertissement on shop@home, it seems that they want to keep this promo low profile ( or having problems with the new website, which is likely ). -
Oh god that mouth. And who knows what Thrawn may have in mind, at least it's refreshing to see competent imperial personnel aside Tarkin.

Lego themes that we would like to happen
RetroInferno replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I really want a new egyptian theme, I miss Pharaoh's Quest sooo much!!! ( Johnny Thunder's son adventures, like SodorBricks mentionned ). The mini figs were awesome ( Anubis soldiers are one of my favorite figs of all time ) and god they look good on display Any new theme would be great honestly, it's been a while. ( Nexo knights don't count! )- 451 replies

Force Friday (30th September) promotions
RetroInferno replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The promo indicates only one item per household, and the people packing orders at shop@home are not imbeciles, meaning scalpers won't have their way unless they have a profesionnal network with a lot of adresses. ( Meaning little Jimmy can't make 50 different orders on keychains at the same adress, he'll get a warning and his orders merged into one. ) I thoroughly recomend waiting at midnight though, Lego has a bad history with online stocks on release mixed with these kind of promos. -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
RetroInferno replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Pretty sure it's gonna be an imperial pilot like the regular Lambda class shuttle. I highly doubt Krennic drives his shuttle himself so it's gonna be a nice mini fig addition if you own the shuttle. I would also very much like if the pilots mini figs are all diferent from the main sets ( except for the Tie pilot ) to add incentive to get them. -
Always nice to see ships from the old EU. Hopefully you'll be able to display it with the Outrider soon, if Lego has their way wih Rebels :)

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

Buy a couple of them and Bricklink the rest I guess. Stormies are going to be dirt cheap when this battlepack is released. -

RetroInferno replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It could be anything at this point. Brickset has it listed as Rebel Hangar, Legomilk said there was a Lando set thrown in 2017 but also mentionned 3 RO based sets, 2 middle sized one and a big one. So yeah, there's a set or two missing, which are most likely brand exclusives ( Target and Toys r Us ) which may contain Lando or not. -

If I was to quote Darth_Raichu on BrickPicker, there are 3 inevitable things in life: Death, taxes and Lego starwars remakes. -

Honestly you could put blanks on every mini figs shown: they are very likely to change a lot. Although I noticed that the U-Wing pilot helmet is the same the one Wes Janson uses in Empire Strikes Back ( included in Assault on Hoth ), and the Y-Wing one is Luke's. I'm so glad we get 2 proper Stormies in a BP, although the other death troopers seem excessive ( I would have taken only 1 and add a technician or a Shore Trooper ) Great looking Battle packs for sure! -

Images of the 4 micro fighters and 2 Battle packs are now live on you know where! Nice improvement on the BP models over the last waves too! Thanks a bunch CM4sci! -
LEGO Nexo Knights 2017 Discussion
RetroInferno replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
At the very least the color scheme is different, the over-load of blue and orange for the first 2 wave personally grew old extremly fast. My main criticism is that everything is extremly vehicle oriented, and despite something that mixes sci-fi and ''Castle'' ( RIP ), there is nothing ground based! Which then again would be fine except the bad guys vehicle all seem to be battering rams and siege catapults, what is their goal? I guess that the Fortrex alone is going to have to repel siege engines for the next 2 years :) -

It looks the same than wave 2 with different colors and I personally find those mechs terrible but still more usefull than the ultimate sets. -

It was unusual yes, and I doubt they'll repeat the same mistake twice in a row. -

Only five days guys! I'm highly tempted buying all the system sets, though I'm on the edge for the Striker, that thing has an atrocious MSRP in Canada... -

The piece count on those boxes are place holders. -

It would fit with the movie, Shore troopers appear to have ranks ( some are marked with red, grey or plain tan arms ). And that black fig in the Bunker set is very place holder, it's just an Imperial ground crew from the Tie Striker. Could be Jyn or anyone else really. -

28x28 base plate with a bunker, platform, vegetation and 4 figs. Sounds way better than Takodana or the shitty luga beast junkward, and is cheaper. -

Thanks again for the info! That Y-wing and Bunker are day one purchases. -

I doubt it's him, after all he don't like sand. 60$ for the Y Wing seems reasonable, it's 10$ less than a Tie! -

That's really intriguing... maybe just the art of a character they are going to tease for the summer wave? -

You mean in the bunker or outside of it? What's in that bunker's doorway anyway? It looks like a mini fig or something... -

I wonder if CM4 talked to lego milk, as he stated 2 medium RO set and a big one. I think the Y wimg fills that big one and the exclusive set is going to be the other medium sized one. And it appears we are going to have shore troopers variants too, these two guys on the box at least have different colored arms.
