My gripe is that they add to the cost and are often casted aside for the mini-figs only. The reason I came up with the thread was too see if they could come up with something better.

Wait, the 2015 Infiltrator's design is pretty good, the price is what makes the set bad, or am I completly wrong here?

Been lurking over Brickset's forums, and surprinsingly we have a tid bit of solid evidence over the coming Death Star. CapnRex101, which don't need any introduction, revealed that he saw the thing, and that the model seemed to have MORE pieces than the original set. He also did not hide his great anticipation regarding the reaction of the community towards it, mentioning opinions will be divided.... He later wrote a comment in which I assume he will be in the defavorable camp. Oh my...

I don't think they are replacing Castle with CMF, it is way too niche as very few people will actually buy them officially from lego if they only want a few of the mini-figs. Way I see it's only a little wink at AFOLS.

Anyone here with a burning hatred for the 2014 AAT? That thing is just awefull,the first micro / mini fig scale hybrid...

Sato being just a meh character, Ezra lacking any improvement, Kalus' strange inclusion, Ashoka ( the most demanded figure from rebels ) included in a 150 CAN set lacks the polish of a CMF figure ( even a marvel or ninjago level of detail ). What anhilate that set is the price tag ( you can get a naboo starfighter, a flashspeeder and a droid transporter for the same price ). Completly ruins the set.

Nice work, this is really hyping me up on Lego's take on the model ( and hopefully we'll be able to position mini figs standing up in the cargo area ). Also, did you calculated the lenght of the ship based on the leaked sets? I estimated both yours and the leaked model, and despite yours being pretty long, I think the retail version is even a couple more stugs longer. Nice take on the color scheme too!

I think it's safe to assume that RO will get at least 2 terrain based sets ( like TFA did ) and maybe another vehicle, which are assumed to be spoiler related. I would love to get some jungle based starwar sets ( been a while since we had something jungle related in lego might I add ). I guess we will also see Mads Mikkelsen in a playset with some spoilery characters too. I have a solid feeling somthing like this set is gonna see the light. Guerrera's Den: 60$, includes Guerrera, Jin in alternate outfit, 2 classic stormies and one Guerrera's cell rebel trooper. Maybe Mikkelsen, I have no clue of where's plugged in the story.

2 waves of TFA minimum? No way, they barely have enough new material to make 3 new sets and some of the original sets tanked ( Kylo's shuttle and snow speeder ). All hail RO, new and awesome designs coming!

A repeating trend with the starwars battlepack series: the terrible small builds. Sure, some exception exists, notably the quite big rebel speeder bike. On the vast majority however, we are stuck on Imperial forces kind of build, a micro version of a thing beyond recognition or completly made up that you quickly dissasemble or toss in a corner for lack of displayability and to some extend play value. ( To the point of considering selling pieces on bricklink ). What Lego should consider is including models that can actually be displayed and have better play value, ex: instead of a fat mini turret ( FO battlepack ) include weapon crates, some buildable cover, a buildable big weapon like the mega blaster and the such. I think more smaller elements that work are better than an odd construct that most buyers end up putting on the side. Or just do something on scale with the mini figs. Even better, use a system in which buying several sets gives you the pieces for a bigger build with instructions online, a bit like mixels. Any more thoughts?

Saw it yesterday, needed to see what sparked such controversy over the last year... and that movie is a hulking piece of shit. Leslie Jones came upon the only personn acting like a human being, Chris Hemsworth gives it's cringiest performance of all time...None of the "jokes" worked for me, the pacing was terrible ( you dont ever see them getting famous and all of a sudden the mayor asks for their help). Even Bill Murray acts like he couldnt care less about this ( simply sits on a chair, looking bored ). The first joke in the movie is a godamn QUEEF, I rest my case.

This year's celebration was saved by the Rebels panel: the Rogue One show was dissapointing by the lack of trailer, and the other stuff was meaningless. And lego only showcased the Freemakers....

Was nothing at all revealed Lego related at both celebration 2016 and SDCC? That is quite anti climatic....

I'd definitly want more than a single stormtrooper in the RO battlepack though, something like 2x stormtrooper ( maybe one with rank with pauldron ), 1 death trooper and a shoretrooper? Would balances things even unlike the FO BP. I have no need to say that both Whitaker and Mikkelsen need to be included too in that winter wave, hopefully in a location based set that are not awefull ( Takodana ).

It is one indeed, maybe they are going to plug Dash in one episode, and hopefully a lego set.

If they ever release an YT 2400 I'll crap my pants. So much good stuff shown for season 3.... Please lego be gentle on my wallet this winter...

Trust me when I say I'll buy any lego set he's in, shitty or not. Imagine him coupled with Krennic in a diaorama with Death Troopers "faints".

Adventurers, Western, Castle and Space. Lord of the Rings to an extend, the sets we've had were nice but no worth getting as they are incomplete ( missing key locations and characters ).

Sadly they look like they are stickers :( Shore may be interesting, maybe like a crusade style like Saint Jean d'Acre or a Briton fishing faction vs vikings?

If it's not the Death Star I imagine Rogue One will at least be showcased, either way I'll be pleased.

This is beyond amazing, and all these metallic copper pieces.... This really is one of their masterpieces, and not too surprising coming from the guy who designed Ewok Village. Now time for the imminent Death Star disappoitment...

Any idea what is 75143? Still listed on Brickset....maybe it's the scrapped a-wing?
