I analyzed the 2017 Bunker set in conjunction with the new released art of the various ranks of shore troopers and I'm pretty 100% sure one of them is a soldier and the other a squad leader. The one in the Striker is a Captain as mentionned earlier. Spreading ranks like this makes it unlikely a battlepack will be made featuring them all...

I first thing I had in mind when you mentionned Wild West with a spin is Cowboys vs Aliens. This might seem completly ridiculous but I would be 100% behind a theme like that.

I think BrickMonkey really nailed the facial structure there with the eye shaping, which is my biggest beef with this set. Has someone tempered with the angle of the head, affected by the legs? I think that by default the head is too inclined foward, or am i dreaming? I'll wait to mod mine as the movie is not out yet and be sure it's not the same model used. ( I actually only removed the 2x2 crossed pieces under the top of the cockpit that supports eye lid hinge piece, it kinda gets in the way. )

It seems like it! Dang they really needed some side prints for the insignia arm... Hopefully the 2 guys included in the bunker set are different.

I think the only mod I'll make is the eye flaps, maybe use the 2v2 wedge plate in light bley. I just checked bricklink and they don't have a piece in that color :(

Tarkin costs around 40-45 CAN, that is ridiculous. They may drop because no one buys them, and I'll hold into my wallet. There's already a planned imperial officer for both the Y-Wing and Krennic's imperial shuttle January first, who could very take some of these elements introduced in the Deathstar remake. I could see them drop as low as 20$ USD, the only thing that is worth reselling are the figs of this set.

The 2016 winter wave wasn't that bad, but the summer wave, oh boy. Huge part of it has to go to source material, the Free Maker sets were not interesting ( the best part was dengar and his 15 pieces hover bike ) and Rex's AT-TE ( only shows up in one episode and gets blown up ) or design choices ( dwarf size turbo tank, color swap x-wing, ). Just remember TFA, it wasn't that great of a wave and maybe they decided to put focus on movie releases as you mentionned.

Thing is in the opening is that yeah, they shot down 6 A-wings and a whole tranport with his crew. But the other thing to consider is that the whole colony down there that was supposed to get the supplies from the transport probably starved to death :O Probably the best Rebels opening hahaha.

I don't think so? The Ace captain shown was much older with a mustache and only called by his rank. Maybe one of his wingman is? :) I also think the drill sergeant voice actor is the same one used for the status updates in Battlefront 2, which I find too awesome to be true hahaha.

A Tie Advanced from Rebels ( 181st Imperial Fighter Wing ) would be freacking non-sense not to make.

A lot of glorious Tie advanced action and loyalty in the latest rebels episode, and it seems that 181st Imperial Fighter Wing is now cannon :D Poor A-Wings guys, they don,t get a break don't they?

Well for start you have to pull the wings of the ship back, other wise they make it even harder to reach the cargo area. Looking at the Coruscant police gunship I'd say it's harder to put figs on the u-wing. I really like the look of the thing, especially if you own all of the RO rebels figs beside it debarking and charging: this is really good on display.

Every ounce of my fingers hurts but the U-Wing and Krennic's shuttle are completed! The shuttle is an amazing set, the build is very complex and fun, except for the smaller dorsal black wing which is a 1x1 x1\3 nightmare. The interior is amazing and can house many mini-figs, the landing skits are solid, the under belly bridge is very well integrated and nothing breaks off easily. Gonna have to find a way to display this with half trans cylinders, that thing is huge when in flight mode. The U-Wing...I wish the cargo was more accesible: currently the best way to store figs in there is to toss them, otherwise putting them one by one is not easy and frustrating, and I don,t have big hands. I think it's the only aspect I really dislike about the ship but nothing makes it really special in my eyes. About the weakest set in the wave, but doesn't mean it's bad. I won't rant again on the mini-figs disparity problem, but I think Lego did a great job on them, except maybe for Rook, that guy needed some arm side prints but I'm nitpicking here. On the imperial side the best fig has to go to the Death Trooper, their helmet is ridiculously well rendered and on the Rebel side a tie between Chirrut and Pao, I love that guy's screaming face!

I've built three sets today: Hovertank, AT-ST and Tie Striker. I gotta say that the strongest set for your bucks is the Hovertank: it's really cheap, the mini-figs are extremly solid and the build is very nice! The Striker is very imposing and an over-engineered marvel structure wise; the cockpit is probably the strudiest thing lego has ever put out. Very expensive, but worth the purchase if you at least get double VIP. The Tie Pilot is also very close to the UCS tie one, and he's mighty fabulous. The AT-ST is very nice, the front art doesn't do justice to the real deal. Probably the weakest set mini-fig wise so far, but doesn't mean it sucks as Baze and the rebel trooper are very detailed. Would have been nice to get an additionnal imperial soldier in there. Gotta say so far this wave's line up is incredibly solid. My only criticism, and I'm gonna repeat what Jang said, is the lack of maintray imperial troops for the rebels ( which are very well represented ) to fight agaisn't, although vehicle wise it's 4 to 1. Tomorrow my most anticipated set, Krennic's shuttle!

Yes expectations can be really deceiving, especially if one followed the rumors and discussion threads. Although the fact remains that Lego considers this their new ''Castle'' theme, I think it's only fair to ask the community about how they feel about the ''replacement'', even though the 2013 line was meh.

Ah talking Lego and Bespin at the at the same time hurts so much :( But yeah as long as they included everyone in their Bespin outfit ( Luke, Leia and Lando ) in a new set ( Do it already Lego ) I'm all for a new molded ice cream machine.

I've finally picked and built Flying Mummy Attack, Golden Staff Guardians and the Scarab Attack! The mini-figs quality is oustanding, the wings, horus helmets and of the golden prints are amazing! The egyptians stickers are also very detailed and the vehicle stuff for the explorers is not bad either, in fact the plane in the Flying Mummy Attack is incredible. I definitly have to pick more of these sets!
