Anyone thinks the BrickHeadz are superflous? We already have mini-figs, constraction figures and mini-dolls, do we really need more ''character'' builds?
-
I really liked this set: but I think that some parts count could have been somewhat reducted for the middle section: making space for a second pilot at the back, which there is in the real thing: and reducing the cost.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
RetroInferno replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
If the source added Bossk, IG-88 and Dengar I think it's fair to assume the last one will indeed be Boba Fett? Or maybe the'll shove in either 4-LOM or Zuckuss, and include the latter is an expensive or what not. I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes up but dang Lego is playing their cards right if they ever pull that off. -

What front page? If that's really the case I hope he gets a much needed update, but whatever the case may be, 4 named bounty hunters in a Battle pack ( I pray for 4-LOM, Zuckuss and IG-88 for the rest ) is the 2017 lego starwars set of the year in my book, judging by what's left coming. -

Considering the level of attention Rebels is getting a UCS related to that show is next to impossible, except ''maybe'' for the Ghost. -
Jedha's market place ambush: 2 merchant's stalls integrated within an elongated building with a side arch. - Includes Benthic, Weeteef Cyubee, a Partisan trooper, 1 Stormtrooper Captain, 1x Stromtrooper corporal and a Stormtrooper. - Launch termal detonators from the arch and surprise the Stormtrooper patrol! - Hide Weeteef under the merchant stalls for a small but dangerous ambush! - Fire at the building to make them crumble over the Partisan forces! - Combine with the Imperial Hover tank set to re-create memorable Rogue 1 scenes! This would offer a lot of play and display values, characters we did not get yet ( we need more stormtrooper rank diversity, and we NEED Benthic ). Saw would fit nicely as a may the 4th poly.

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

Yeah, my bad! I did not think episode VIII would be released so soon :O And yes the landspeeder seems to be the only Episode IV 2017 set, unless Lego anounces a UCS something later this year ( do they release a UCS every year?, the snowspeeder is still listed on Brickset but I aint see it happening on the 40th of ANH ) Do you mind clarifying your statement Delta? If by polarize the whole coummunity you mean another UCS playset I'm ready to crap my pants. -
LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
RetroInferno replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I gathered the info shown here and on Brickset, and there is some gaps to be filled. - The Imperial Hover Tank 75182 has the same number the Clone Hover tank has, so we can safely remove that one. - 5 more constraction figures to be released in 2017, not including Baze, Chirrut and the Shoretrooper. - 75176 and 75177 on brickset could be the 75166 First Order BP and 75167 Bounty Hunters BP, has they are not listed. That leaves us with 4 spots: 75188, 75189, 75190 and 75192. That probably leaves us with a fall release for the Han Solo stand alone movie consisting of at least 4 sets and some constraction figures. -

Sadly yes. And they also seem to be the biggest set of the summer wave, although the Quadjumper could also be quite big. -
It may sound harsh but I think this set deserves most of the flak people sent to it. I highly recomend Jang's breakdown of the thing: he goes through everything down to how it even fails as a play set.

Is it because the vehicle doesn't get a stand? really annoying they don't provide one for vehicles that suffers from looking better in flight mode ( B-wing, Tydirium Shuttle and others )

I saw MULTIPLES of this set over at Toys r Us, they must be desesperate to get rid of them. This set definitly was a coming back and forth nightmare that the management wanted to push out, I can't believe the designers were happy with this result, especially since the guy spent a year designing the much loved Slave 1. Lego had to make a shitty UCS set one day, and here it is! And I wouldn't call this dissapointing, it's simply a crappy set, the UCS Death Star remake was the dissapointement ( Hello 690$ CAN ).

Third screening here: this time 3D with D-BOX, I wouldn't think I would say that but the movie gets better which each screening?? I still think half the movie is a bit sluggish but Scariff gets me each time, I always look foward the next scene! I actually kind of hated the Pricess Leia cameo at the end but now she has passed away I think some sort of cosmic justice was at work in the editing room. ( RIP Carrie Fisher ) The movie certainly has it's share of problems, it's no Empire, but as a prequel it's damn good! -
Wow 2016 was such a shitty year across the globe...

Very nice review! I think this is a stellar model, but needs some minor facial modding ( hiding the stud shooter, rework the plating and tweak the ''eyes'' spots ), which I HIGHLY recommend. Consider a visit to the MOC thread upon purchasing this set!

There's an "Imperial Hover tank" listed on brickset for summer 2017, god knows what it can be. Could it be the clone hover tank? In any case I really hope they expand on the movie with other sets, even if it's only an excuse to release X wings ( blue leader would be nice, though I would prefer red leader ), a new OT TIE ( last one was released back in 2011 and looks dated ) with missing movie characters. -

My two biggest gripe with the movie: Saw Guerrera and the first act pacing. Was there any motivation on why he wished to stay back? I could have seen his crazy butt leading his terrorists band ( his alien captain gets SO MUCH screen time, it's criminal they were not fighting at the end ) on Scariff helping Jyn and the rest of the group, only to get mowed down by Death troopers, which would have gotten them more screen time. And the first act: more character depht would have been nice, like seeing lil Jyn playing with his father would have been a sweet moment and improved their relationship before Krennic arrives. Cassian was depicted as a rutheless assassin's up to the middle of the movie and I thought the gang could have yelled more at each other after Eadu, for good reasons. Definitly some good moments in the first act but it suffers from some issues. -

Is Lego even aware the amount of cash they are losing with a late release of Star Wars sets? At least TFA had their stuff released in NA january first, we have jack this time. Europe even had enough time to buy the stuff before christmas ... ( December 15 I think?) -
Yes! Your turn :)

That's Arrival, excellent movie by the way!

What , you don't like that every set includes Chopper, a frownie storm trooper and an helmet-less Sabine with wrong skin tone? :D The rebels line mini-fig has not been the greatest, let's hope it changes.

Minior Spoilers Saw Guerrerra's Den seems to be an universal demand hahaha, it's juste a shame he doesn't do much. I'll take anything based on the movie: there is so much content, IMAGINE getting a shoehorned Ponda Baba and Saw's alien captain. A new standard Tie would be nice.., and X-wing... and.... :D

Also I'd like to adress back the issue with the Death Troopers, they basically kill the remainning rebel troops on the ground in a few moments, then Chirrut proceeds to link the array, then there's a huge explosion which I can't identify the source from??? The explosion kills him and blast all the Death Troopers, which Baze finishes off. Not Boba fett or Phasma kind of lame but meh.
