  1. Darn, I think using the same semi-trans blue that was used for the raven's saw would work better. Emgo is awesome btw.
  2. Not a huge haul, but I picked up the new polys from Target today. Love em to bits! 30113 Stephanie's Bakery (@seasonal) 30187 Fast Car (@seasonal) 30300 Batman Tumbler (@register)
  3. It certainly helps that it impressed Huw when he reviewed it a while back... and he'd been harking on about how lackluster constraction is for a while.
  4. Furno's Jet Machine. Best construction, it's a very complete and full set.
  5. I meant with the gaps where it doesn't fit snugly- it tends to flop and tilt. And on topic, since this includes Mixels, I also got the Cragsters with that purchase. They're awesome, especially Shuff.
  6. I got Evo Walker a week ago, if nothing else so I can just check out the new parts and plan mods. I adore these new minifigures. I wonder why they didn't use a Ninjago skeleton torso, though. It has ridges that would keep the chest armor from flopping around. I'm planning on getting Jaw Beast soon, then saving the bigger sets for when/if that Breez polybag hits US stores.
  7. Went into my TRU, they had all the IFB instock and even without markup. I was only able to get the Evo Walker though. Don't get what everyone said bad about it, it's a joy to pose because everything moves and bends.
  8. I haven't been to stores in about a week, so I couldn't say.
  9. Don't worry. In my area we didn't get any Brain Attack sets except Furno XL for about two months after release.
  10. They were probably last-minute changes to the model after the set had been finalized. And what changes there are are very minute, like an extra chain or two and a gear. I'd like to see someone compile a list of the parts needed to 'complete' the Metalbeard set.
  11. Looks great, especially with the way the gunmetal blends in LDD. Or is that dark grey?
  12. Around half of my 2008-2010 joints disintegrated within 3 or so months, and most of my figures are hanging on by a thread. Technic bits are a similar story, but those are designed to be easily replaceable. I've never had a CCBS piece break on me though.
  13. It's a pneumatic bit in gray that debuted in the Unimog.
  14. I'm throwing in the towel. There's no way I could top that piece of awesomeness.
  15. Loving that vehicle mode. As an alternate, this is super-awesome. If I find another copy of Speeda (because mine is heavily modded) on heavy clearance, I'll give this a shot.
  16. I quite like the bluk of the chest and the integration of the leg armor. He definitely has that solid feel to him, everything points to his styling in a bulky but nimble way. And an interesting little story to go along with it.
  17. I pulled out my rod from 8916 Chopper Jump and was hit with the inspiration to make it into a DeLorean. This is a 'stock' DeLorean. Time machine bits will be coming later! ;) I'm not that happy with the doors though, I'll probably change them into some SNOT build later on. Mini_DeLorean_p1.lxf
  18. The Dallas lego store had the entire line (Sans the Haunted House) at reduced prices when I popped in there earlier this week, so I doubt they'll be getting more stock to coincide with the holiday.
  19. Congrats to the winners! And thanks for the lively month!
  20. 1 point Vidurr 1 point Koboldon 1 point Gambrodon Good luck!
  21. 1 point Ryan Korsten 1 point Bonnie Crusher 1 point Cade Marler Good luck!
  22. 1 point Marshall Boyle 1 point Flora Strike XL 1 point Gerald Spectrum Good luck!
  23. How adorable! I'm sold!
  24. Got in the post: 8065 Mini Container Truck 9390 Mini Tow Truck 44012 Evo 44013 Aquagon (2x) 40048 Accessory Pack Thank god for S@H and their 'retiring soon' page!
  25. 'Two to three days'? I got it an hour later. Silly Fedex.
