I was thinking that we'd somehow see something akin to how Kongu Mahri/Pohatu Phantoka's shoulders were constructed in the new system, but looking at the photos again it seems that he has two torso bones- the shoulders of the front one holding up the 'shoulder-plates' and the shoulders of the backmost one supporting the arms.

Yeah, they seem like size 4 shells to me, basing it around where the ball-socket and peg connections seem to be. ..Than again, the lip over the elbow looks a bit long for a size 4 shell. We'll just have to wait 2 or so months and see.

I myself bought this set today and I am loving it. The entire set is perfectly proportioned, the shield pieces are gorgeous, and the crossbow is a very good use of the pieces. My first thought upon finishing the set was 'Wow, this is a hero.' The only things I dislike is the low amount of gold and the use of the foot as back armor- As you highlighted, it is quite awkward. I just want good back armor.

Reading through them, I can swear that the writers got inspiration from Cave Johnson.

I change my mind. This set is very sweet, and deserving of the 166% rating you gave it. Must-buy. P.S. I forget whom I was arguing over the bones being Teal, but I was right. )

Non-Lego wise I got Portal 2 and Terraria during Steam Sales, and I'm getting a bathroom remodel. Lego-wise my biggest two things were 10231 Shuttle Expedition and 5892 Sonic Boom. Rufus's review made me want that second set, and a good decision it was. It looks beautiful sitting on my bookshelf, looking as though it will ram into The Burrow. Planning on buying as much of the new Hero Factory sets as I can with all the money I got!

It does do that, putting a little 'x(X)' in the small box where it shows the overview of the model, right?

This is just simple: Post all the Lego you've gotten over the Holiday Season in 2011! It can sometimes be very interesting to hear what others have gotten! If you look closely, you can see it has 4-length bones in teal too. You know, the ones that are Dark Bley now? Now we need more Teal Bones.

Possibly, just be careful with the leaf-decay. Or, you could creates a giant cluster of trees and make a home among that, similar to what people have been doing with the Huge Mushrooms. Also, could you please PM me the IP back, pinioncorp? I've kind of forgotten it. I'll also try to be more active in the new server, once you bring in that awesome new map and update it to the full release. I wonder if many people noticed by half-finished Red 2x4 Mansion.

Sorry to correct you, DLuders... That's actually made of parts from set '8290 Mini Forklift' of 2008. Notice: 8271 comes with neither a blue rubber band nor those wheels- But 8290 does.

I was stuck in Toys R' Us today for 'Bricktober', shocked about the apparent lack of 8081 Extreme Cruiser and overabundance of 8041 Race Truck. I was going to grab the latter when he turned to find this set on the bottom rack, just within my budget. I pulled the box up and thought 'Oh, what the heck, I've read rave reviews about it.' Best Decision I've made in a while. Everything about this set is quite awesome and whole, unlike so many sets one finds these days! The build was easy and went along pretty swiftly, even with me checking my laptop every five minutes or so. I remember giving a little 'Ohhh~' when I built the sliding mechanism underneath the back half of the HQ. I found that very ingenious, just perfect. I also particularly enjoy the Jet/Fighter Plane. A perfect tribute to the semi-famous MOCer the stickers refer to.

I, myself, recieved the 8070 Supercar today. VERY excited to get building, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait until next weekend. Oh well, just a quick sneak at my first Power Function parts for now. Anyone know good modifications for it? I'm looking the link the steering wheel to the HOG with two 4L U-Joints I've been saving and turn the gearshift into a true motorized drive. Not that worried about the 'baboon' rear though. And I'm already buying the PF Switch.

I'm very sorry to hear about this griefing incident.... Been waiting for this mess to clear up, and I lost track of time while trying out mods. Can't wait until Minecraft starts working again ( ) so I can come back onto the server.

Ouch, sorry to hear about the griefing. I don't know any way to help with the cleanup though. Although, I'd be happy to at least try and help.

Try hiding them, or sealing them up using a sticky piston to pushes a hard-to-break block (Like, say, Brick) over them, disallowing access until you press a button or flick a lever or something.

Odd. Are you running any other Mods? (By what you said earlier, I'd think not. ) Well, try using the 'Force update' option next time you log in. This will remove all the mods. See if that helps.

Yes, still very interested. And I would have to say... freebuild. Would seem very fitting for a lego forum. Get a clean flatgrass map for the server, a custom one that generates more flatgrass if possible.

Oh! Yes, I just got that today. (In fact, I finally figured out how to mod today. ) It is VERY fun, as you said. All I've made so far is a simple arena with piston doors for 6 armies at once. Can't wait till someone puts a schematic of a good arena up for me.

Not for me. I play MC on my laptop, and whenever I change the source code or try to open the .jar it never works. Interesting, quite the opposite from me. I mostly build aboveground and play around. Not much of a Redstone guy, either. I hope someone did. The server I've been playing on for the longest time is deserted.............

Yes..... finally. I've been play it since.... well, bought it just before Beta 1.5 came out. I don't play 'legitly', though. I use MCedit and INVedit regularly. However, I can never figure out how to use mods or texture packs. I'm not exactly a computer wizard......... I do like Jay Sathe's idea of an EB server, though. I've been looking for one recently, as the one I was playing on got shutdown over the Brohoster Incident.
